JD (6) 1 Cooper’s Sontag Simon Le Bone - Handsome b/t chap just out of p. Super head & expression. Well arched feet. Tight elbows. Correct shoulder placement with ribbing carried well back. Strong quarters. Moved soundly. Gleaming condition. RBD. 2 Oxley’s Lauralee The Real Thing at Owlery – Still a p this b/t shows lots of promise. Lovely reach of neck. Well constructed front. Nice length & depth of keel. Strong hind quarters which he uses on the move covering the ground & maintaining a well balanced outline. Just needs to tighten in front movement. BP. 3 Punter’s Welcumen Kiss Me Quick.
OD (3) 1 Hunt’s Ch D’Arisca Class Distinction at Carpaccio – A pleasure to go over this choc/tan. Everything fits into place. Good reach of neck flowing into correctly placed shoulders. Excellent length & spring of rib. Super underline. Covers the ground effortlessly maintaining a well balanced overall profile. A classic Sayer’s outline. BD & BOB. 2 McCarthy’s Seatris Laced With Success - a masculine b/t with good head & eye. Nicely constructed front. Ribbing ok. Good hind angulation but was a little close behind on the move. Maintained a good top line at all times. Nice head carriage.
JB (2) 1 Punter’s Punter’s Roleta Returned To Sender – smaller framed choc/tan but beautifully balanced. Not overdone in any way. Super lay of shoulder & length to ribbing. Tight elbows. Sound mover with a lovely head carriage.
LB (1) 1 Cooper’s Sontag Tina Peaches – quality b/t. Well constructed throughout. Tight elbows. Lovely well padded feet. Nice length & depth of keel. Good spring of rib carried well back. Strong hind quarters used on the move. RBB.
OB (1) 1 Turner’s Ch.Rafthouse Read My Lips – I have admired this young lady from the ringside & was delighted to be able to go over her. Classic head with lovely length of neck flowing into correct shoulders. Elbows fitted tightly against her well sprung ribcage. Lovely angulation to her hind quarters. Covered the ground with ease maintaining her topline. v sound & well handled. In the challenge for BOB there was little to separate these two excellent exhibits. Just preferred the underline of the BOB on the day. BB & BOS
