SMOOTH HAIRED
I thank the exhibitors for the good entry. Overall I thought the breed showed improvement, temperaments were good. I found that hind movement in some of the dogs was very poor. My thanks to my stewards.
VD. (9). Excellent class. Lovick-Gibbs and Gibbs’, Champion Roleta Playwright. Black and tan of super type and size. Excellent shoulders and strong well muscled quarters. Very good feet. Good head, masculine expression. In wonderful coat and condition. Very sound free movement. Seriously considered for top awards. 2. Hosegood’s, Lauralee Welsh Guard at Hydax. Very masculine black and tan in excellent coat and condition. Long ribbing. Sound movement. Winner just scored in front. This dog really enjoyed his day showing with great attitude. Well handled and presented. 3. Davies’s, Champion Undeg Elenius. Red dog of good size. Very well balanced both standing and moving. Good movement with plenty of drive. Very good head and expression. Not the body of the winners on the day and a little light in lion.
