SMOOTH HAIRED
Thank you to the exhibitors for such a quality entry.
MPD. (1). 1. No Name Given. Upstanding, compact b/tan. Loved his head and eye. Steady temperament for one so young. Good body proportions, well angulated both ends and well ribbed. Moved parallel both ways. Needs to lose weight over his shoulders but liked him a lot.
PD. (2). 1. McNaughton’s, Cedavoch Galadrim. 11 months old b/t. Excellent head and shoulders. The best of feet. Lovely angulation and length of body. Moved well with a lovely outline at all times. BP with fierce competition. 2. Norton’s, Matzell Master Mariner. Another lovely youngster. Same remarks apply, but not as confident as winner and not coping with the ground as well.
JD. (5). Nice class. 1. Eales and Tite’s, Lauralee the X-Factor. B/tan of a lovely size. Excellent reach of neck and shoulders. Lovely outline at all times. Moved true. A really elegant, sound dog with considerable style and quality. 2. Hunt’s, Carpaccio Black Sabbath. Preferred the outline of the winner on the move, although looked the part on the stance. Moved true. Lovely head and feet. 3. Joy’s, Rosonket Hot Property with Morialsa.
YD. (1). 1. Hunt’s, Carpaccio Black Sabbath.
PGD. (2). 1. Joy’s, Rosenket Hot Property with Morailsa. This exhibit was third in Junior but a lovely chocolate with a beautiful outline, kept on the move and stance. Well boned, ribbed and angulated both ends. Good head and eye. Just needs to tighten in movement.
LD. (4). 1. Girven’s, Marictor Mansfield. Lovely dog with no exaggerations and all of a piece. Masculine head. Excellent front and shoulders. Width and length in correct proportions. Lovely dog who won his place in this class as he covered the rough ground with ease and style. 2. Eales and Tites’, Lauralee Role of Honour via Rijobeau. Another lovely dog who was not moving as well as I have seen him. Lovely proportions. Beautiful head and dark eye. Good length and angulation. Liked him a lot. 3. Oxley’s, Lauralee the Real Thing at Owlery.
OD. (3). 1. Armstrong’s, Lauralee Lloyd George. CC and BOB. Loved everything about this dog. A true stallion hound. It was very difficult separating first and second and both so well put together who looked the part on the move and on the stance. I felt the winner had the edge on the arrogant expression and reach of neck. 2. Cooper’s, Ch. Sontag Simon le Bone. Another stallion hound in top form who didn’t put a foot wrong and I was nit picking here. RCC. 3. Lusk’s, Ch. Cedavoch Celedbil.
MPB. (4). Nice class. 1. Dalgety’s, Thundergay Magdalena. B/tan who was more loose. Only a baby and needs to loose some weight but all of a piece, everything in the right place and showed well for a youngster. 2. Norton’s, Matzell Maid of Honour. Very attractive red bitch. Again everything in the right place and moving very well for a youngster. Excelled in head and dark eye with good pigmentation. Very nice indeed. 3. Hedge’s, Silandajo Time to Play.
PB. (4). 1. Bethel’s, Hampdach Dulcina. Lovely classy red bitch. I felt she has the 3 l’s, long, low and level. Will surely trouble the best. 2. Turner’s, Marictur Uptown Madam. More mature b/tan with everything in the right place but not moving as well as winner. 3. Stanton’s, Hampdach Claudia.
JB. (6). 1. Bethel’s, Hampdach Alinga. A beautiful red with confidence, class and style. Excelled in head and eye. Looked a picture on the stance and on the move. Excelled in front and length of body. Loved her. RCC. 2. Gatheral and Graham’s, Phaeland Special Delivery. Another beautiful classy red bitch. Same remarks apply as winner. Lost to winner as I felt she needed a little more confidenc e and verve on the move. 3. Hedge’s, Roleta Playing Up for Silandajo.
YB. (1). 1. Eales and Tite’s, Rijabeau Ready to Rumble. B/tan bitch, all of a piece presenting a lovely outline on the stance ad on the move. Moved soundly both ends. Excellent angulation both ends. Well ribbed with depth and length. All she needs is more confidence.
PGB. (5). 1. Rawson and Walkley’s, Churchoak Chit Chat with Rosenket. Looked a picture on the stance. Well off for bone and everything correct and all of a piece. I felt she was carrying a shade too much weight but a lovely exhibit. 2. Gatheral-Graham’s, Phaeland Special Devotion. Another classy quality red whom I liked a lot. Excelled in head, reachy neck and good pigmentation. Like her kennel mate I felt she needed more verve and confidence on the move. 3. Graham’s, Batendach Sensation at Gameron.
LB. (7). 1. Armstrong’s, Lauralee Single Girl. Classy outline. Lovely head with a well built front. Level topline and moving true. A lovely bitch. 2. Rawson and Walkley’s, Churchoak Hot Gossip About Rosenket. A lovely chocolate bitch with good bone and body proportions. A lovely shape which she maintained on the stance and on the move. Again I felt she was carrying a shade too much weight which detracted from her many virtues. 3. Dalgety’s, Thundergay Surely Charmed.
OB. (6) I was spoilt for choice in this class. 1. Turner’s, Ch. Marictur Miss Midnight. CC. I left this bitch couldn’t be denied the CC. She moved like a dream and stood on a loose lead and was elegance personified. Lucky owner. 2. Norton’s, Matzell Melva. A beautiful bitch and very difficult to separate from winner, but I felt winner had the edge on the move. 3. McNaughton’s, Cedavoch Aarwen.
