SMOOTH HAIRED
I was pleased with the temperaments of all ths Smooth exhibited here on the day. Not a hint of aggresion, only a couple appeared a little anxious, but soon settled.
PD. (7). 1. McNaughton’s, Cedavoch Galadrim. Promising b/t with lovely outline. Super head and expression. Excellent keel. Tight elbows, good length of rib and back. Well turned stifles. Moved with drive. 2. Jeffrey’s, Rosenket Heir Apparent at Andax. Attractibe chocolate and tan. Excellent forehand. Good pro-sternum. Deep ribbing, low to ground. Lovely head, just needs to firm in topline. 3. Eales and Tite’s, Lauralee the X-Factor.
JD. (4). 1. Hunt’s, Carpaccio Black Sabbath. Masculine well boned b/t. Good head and eye. Reachy neck. Sound front, tight elbows. Ribbing carried well back. Level topline. Strong quarters. Moved well. 2. Punter’s, Welcumen Kiss Me Quick. Well balanced, ow to ground. Lovely outline. Excellent keel and ribbing. Good length, well bent stifles. Preferred front movement of winner. 3. Joy’s, Rosenket Hot Property with Morailsa.
PGD. (1). 1. Dent’s, Lauralee Dylan Thomas Von Dachstein. Stood alone but a worthy winner. Attractive head, nice expression. Long neck, good brisket and ribbing. Level topline. Well bent stifles. Moved well.
LD. (3). 1. Eales and Tite’s, Lauralee Role of Honour via Rijobeau. Caught my eye as soon as he came into the ring. Quality red, superb head and expression. Long neck. Excellent sternum and ribbing carriaged well back. Deep body. Level topline, strong quarters. Balanced allthrough. Moved with drive really covered the ground. Loved him. CC and BOB. 2. Melbourne’s, Sunhaze St John of Melriding. Another attractibe red. Not the movement of winner. Good head and eye. Prominent keel, neat front, well ribbed, level topline. Nice outline. Moved true fore and aft. 3. Stanton’s, Hampdach Hot Topic.
OD. (6). 1. Cooper’s, Sontag Simon Le Bone. Elegant b/t. Lovely head, good reach of neck, well placed shoulders. Tight elbows. Excellent ribbing carried back. Level topline. Well bent stifles. Balanced outline. Moved well. Quality dog. RCC. 2. McNaughton’s, Ch/Aust Ch. Nicholyev the Hobbit (Imp). Attractive red. Masculine allthrough. Well filled front, low to ground. Good length. Excellent quarters. Moved well. Close up to winner. 3. Hunt’s, Ir Ch/Ch. D’Arisca Class Distinction at Carpaccio JW.
PB. (5). 1. Turner’s, Marictur Uptown Girl. Such a pretty baby. Super head and expression. Lovely temperament. Excellent sternum and ribbing, good length. Level topline. Well turned stifles. Lovely outline. Very elegant. One for the future. BP. 2. Melbourne’s, Lauralee Take That to Melriding. Promising b/t baby. Has it all there. Just needs to firm up. Excellent forehand, low to ground. Level topline. Good bend of stifle. Moved well. 3. Bethel’s, Hampdach Alinga.
JB. (1). 1. Eales and Tite’s, Rijobeau Ready to Rumble. Lovely type, good head and expression. Ribbing carried well back. Level topline. Just a little difficult to assess on the table as she backed away. Pity. Moved well.
PGB. (3). 1. Walkley’s, Churchoak Chit Chat with Rosenket. Very pretty girl with lovely head and expression. Excellent keel, deep ribs, sound front and quarters. Firm topline, balanced outline. Moved well true fore and aft. 2. Gatheral-Graham’s, Phaeland Special Devition. Houndy bitch. Excellent length of neck and back. Good pro sternum. Well ribbed. Good turn of stifle. Nice outline. Moved well. 3. Dalegety’s, Thundergay Beguiled Again.
LB. (3). 1. McNaughton’s, Cedavoch Aarwen. Lovely red girl. Super head and expression. Long neck. Excellent keel, tight elbows. Low to ground. Well bent stifles. Level topline. Moved with dribe. Really liked her. RCC. 2. Dalgety’s, Thundergay Surely Charmed. Attractive chocolate and tan. Good length of neck and back. Well filled front. Good ribs. Sound quarters. Nice outline. Moved well. 3. Rawson and Walkley’s, Churchoak Hot Gossip about Rosenket.
OB. (5). 1. Dalgety’s, Ch. Thundergay Lady Be Good. Sound honest bitch. Very hard to fault. Nicely balanced allthrough. Excellent forehand, good length of ribbing and back. Level topline. Good hind angulation. Excelled on the move, true fore and aft. CC. 2. Turner’s, Ch. Marictur Miss Midnight. Very similar to winner. Just preferred movement of winner. Quality b/t. Everything in the right place. Lovely head and eye. Balanced outline. Very sound, lovely bitch. 3. Rawson’s, Laurtom First Edition from Sunhaze.
