SMOOTH HAIRED
Thank you for a great entry of 79 making judging a most enjoyable exercise and I thought type was good. A few questionable mouths and some kinky tails. Temperament was the biggest let down. All dogs were clean which was good. Fronts are better than hindquarters and bone and feet were good with short nails. I loved both my CC winners, both typy and sound and beautiful type. Good luck with them! MPD. (7).1 McNaughton's, Cedavoch Honour Bound. My star! Just fell for this outgoing happy baby in a big way. Super size, make and shape. Stunning head, neck and shoulders. Plenty of forechest. Well made body, nice hammy quarters. Sound free mover. Next year will be his. CC and BP. Good luck. 2. Rawson's, Rosenket Kaptin Kirk. Another top drawer puppy. Also well made. Very good head and eye. Well angulated shoulders. Super feet. Well made behind. Moving very well. Another with a bright future. 3. Davies's, Udeg Humming Top. PD. (3). 1. Rawson's, Rosenket Kaptin Kirk. 2. Davies's, Udeg Humming Top. 3. Cooper's, Sontag Marcus Absent. JD. (5). 1. Cooper and Kerry's, Sontag Sir Cumferance of Kireton. Beautiful type. Super head, long neck and good carriage. Grand body, level topline and well made quarters. Moves out well in profile. Well handled and close up to the top. Nice dog. 2. Gatheral-Graham's, Phealand Sherrifs Deputy. Heavier type than winner. 14 months old red. Attractive outline both stacked and on the move. Good bone and feet. Plenty of ribbing. Really drives out from behind. Shows well. 3. Britt's, Ryepiece Royal Wurka. PGD. (5). 1. Linacre's, Cavalleria Rusticana. 22 months old red with lovely head. Sound in front, tight elbows. Long body, correct top and underlines. Enough quarters. Drives out well looking good in profile. 2. Higgin's, Matzell Midnight Harborou for Levliss. Another 20 months old red. Nice type. Close up to winner. Just not driving out as well as winner. Sound enough coming and going. Keeps a good outline. 3. Jeffery's, Rosenket Heir Apparent at Andax. LD. (10). 1. Tite and Eales', Lauralee the X Factor. Beautiful elegant type. Taller than some but in proportion. Good head, long neck and good shoulders. Firm body with good top and underlines. Short loins. Strong quarters. Very sound mover, projects himself so well on the move. Useful dog I would think. 2. Armstrong's, Lauralee Hot Chocolate. 3 years old chocolate. Lower to ground than winner, but nice make and shape. Good bone. Plenty of forechest. Ample ribbing. Firm quarters. Very sound on the move. Another good one. 3. McNaughton's, Cedavoch Galadrim. OD. (8). Good class. 1. Cooper's, Ch. Sontag Simon le Bone. Loved him. 3 years old b/t. Stunning in profile, everything flows, copy book shoulders, grand body. Long and level, short loins. Well angulated behind. So sound and elegant on the move. Just seems on edge when stacked on the day so had to settled for RCC in good company. 2. Coxon, Henningson and Allen's, Am Ch. Jagie's I Love the Night Life. 5 years old s/red with stunning head. Long neck, good shoulders. Good bone and feet. Plenty of forechest. Good body proportions. Well made behind though just not the drive of winner on the day. A quality dog all male throughout. 3. Hunt's, Ch. D'arisca Class Distinction at Carpaccio. Another very good example. Loved his type and quality. MPB. (7). 1. Rawson's, Rosenket Krystal Singer. Beautiful b/t baby. Outgoing and full of quality. Super head and eye. Well made front, good shoulders. Good body proportions. Firm topline. Short loins. Good quarters. Sound enough coming and going. Looks really well in profile. BPB. 2. Lovick-Gibb's, Roleta Keepin up Appearances. 8 and a half months old shaded red. Smaller type to winner but still quality all through. Nice type. Good shoulders, firm topline. Well made behind. Moves out well in profile with good head carriage on loose lead. 3. McNaughton's, Cedavoch Sincerity. PB. (5). 1. Rawson's, Rosenket Krystal Singer. 2. Graham's, Roleta Red Letter Day for Gameron. Sound enough coming and going. Extending really well in profile. 2. Tite and Eales', Lauralee Turn Back Time with Rijobeau. Nice type s/r. Larger than winner but well made. Good head. Not as clean over shoulders than winner. Grand body. Well made behind. Looks well on the move. Lovely condition. 3. Bethal's, Hampdach Gemstone. PGB. (8). 1. Gatheral-Graham's, Phealand Special Delivery. My star. Presents the perfect overall picture. Everything just flows. Gives a picture of elegance and proportion. Lovely head and eye. Long neck leading into super shoulders. Everything fits right. Long body and ribbing. Short loins. Nice hammy quarters. Sound free mover. Looks a picture in profile. She fits my ideal standard. CC her second and BOB with luck not long before many more. 2. Higgin's, Matzell Misty Morning over Leveliss. 19 months old b/t. Nice head. Not as clean in shoulders as winner. Good body and outline. Looks good in profile. In good condition. 3. Hedge's, Welcumin Returned Kiss to Silandajo. LB. (11). 1. Norton's, Matzell Maid of Honour. Very nice 18 months old s/r. Really fell for her. Same type as CC winner. Just not as long in body. So well made throughout. Balanced and sound, free from exaggeration. Low to ground and really strides out with plenty of reach and follow through. Pushed the winner all the way. RCC. 2. Turner's, Marictur Uptown Madam. Another lovely bitch. 2 years old elegant b/t. Lovely head and eye. Good shoulders. Ribs go well back. Firm topline. Firm and well conditioned. Just not as clean going away on the day as winner. Still top flight bitch. Same mold as RCC winner. 3. Bethel's, Ch. Hampdach Alinga.
