SMOOTH HAIRED

 Always a priveledge to handle the entry, this time I was pleasantly surprised. The handful of dedicated breeder have done well. The ring was next to the noisy metal doors, the noise did not upset any. Temperament was generally very sound. Some good youngsters bode well for the future. The BOB was G2, some time since a Smooth was placed this high. Exhibits all in good condition with sparkling teeth. Loin and hock to floor could be shorter in some to get a strong compact rear end.

PD. (3). 1. Bethel’s, Hampdach Pyrrus. Heavy boned. Well balanced dog. Lovely puppy. Conformation good all through. His free driving movement with head high and level topline will win him nay prizes. One to watch. 2. Hedges’, Silandajo Best Intentions. Very smart b/t. More refined than winner, but not short of bone. Showed and moved well. Liked him a lot.

JD. (4). 1. Rawson’s, Rosenket Kaptain Kirk. Classic b/t. Flowing lines. Good head, reachy neck, ribbing good. Moved and showed well enough to win CC. 2. Davies’s, Undeg Humming Top. Red. So like his Ch sire at this stage. His good conformation is there for all to see. When this is clothed with body will be excellent. Refined no wrinkle. Super dog in the making. 3. Hedges’, Roleta Red Boots to Shine Silandajo. Heavy boned red. Pleases in head and ribbing. Moved and showed well. This placing is no disgrace, all three were very nice.

PGD. (3). 1. Britt’s, Ryepiece Royal Wurka. Medium sized b/t. Very nice quality exhibit. Feet very good. Movement sound and true. Must always be considered. 2. Cooper and Kerry’s, Sontag Sir Cumference of Kireton. Slightly heavier b/t. Good all through on good legs, bone and feet. All three in this class were good and can change places another day. 3. Starkey’s, Carpaccio Top of the Class at Hamoura. Heavy b/t. Same remarks apply. Pleasing all through. Good on the move.

LD. (7). 1. Goad’s, Rosanport the Illusionist. This medium sized well boned dog pleased all through. Well balanced, typical of this good kennel. Moved and showed well. 2. Macdonald’s, Carpaccio Black Out at Bensarka. Pleasing heavy boned b/t. A bit square over rump, but moved well on good legs and feet. Quality exhibit. 3. Jeffery’s, Rosenket Heir Apparent at Andax Sh CM. Heavy boned choc/tan. A bit heavy over shoulders, but pleases in head, body and quarters. Moved and showed well.

OD. (6). 1. Armstrong’s, Ch. Lauralee Lloyd George. Heavy b/t who at 4 years is now well balanced and lovely in outline. He is a real stallion dog who pleases all through. Good to handle and good on the move. A quality dog. RCC. 2. Hey’s, Quiske Classic Impact. This smaller veteran b/t could easily be overlooked among the big boys. He is well boned for size and is very well balanced. Steady sound mover. A very pleasing exhibit. 3. Tite and Eales’, Lauralee Role of Honour via Rijobeav. Heavy boned red full fronted and lengthy. Quality head. Moved and showed well on good feet.

PB. (3). 1. Rawson’s, Churchoak Some Like it Hot at Rosenket. Darkest choc/tan. Very mature for age. Quality puppy. Pleased all through. Sound steady mover. Bright future. BP. 2. Mitchell’s, Silandajo Mentwo Bea at Dubrey. Pleasing b/t. Immature as yet. Will improve with age to make a good one.

JB. (4). 1. Rawson’s, Rosenket Krystal Singer. Super heavy boned b/t. Litter sister to DCC. So typical of the exhibits from this kennel. Nothing to chance. Maturity will do it all. Sound strong mover. 2. Norton’s, Matzell Marlies. B/t in lighter mould. Enough bone for size. Presented and shown well as all from this well established kennel. Can change places on another day. Lovely bitch. 3. Hinwood’s, Longmel Tripple Truffle. Quality b/t. No disgrace in this placing. All were good, I liked them.

PGB. (7). 1. Cooper’s, Sontag Celia Fate. Heavy boned b/t. Lovely body all the essentials. Quality bitch who looked good standing and moving. 2. Spooner’s, Lauralee All or Nothing for Penrose. This clear red could not be handled on the table. Needs taking in hand as on the floor presented a lovely picture of a well balanced good looking bitch who could win well.

LB. (8). 1. Turner’s, Marictur Uptown Madam JW. Quality b/t headed this class of differing types. All were good. I liked them all. She is typical of this kennel, built on flowing lines on good legs and feet. Sound strong mover with proud head carriage and level topline. RCC. 2. Hunt’s, Carpaccio Precious Pearl JW. Similar b/t. Same remarks apply, can change places another day. Sound in all respects. Quality. 3. Rawson and Walkley’s, Churchoak Chit Chat with Rosenket. Well balanced b/t. Good head and eye. Reachy neck. Pleased all through.

OB. (4). 1. Norton’s, Ch. Matzell Maid of Honour. Correct size. Well balanced clear red. Good head and eye. Good shoulders, legs, bone and feet. Lovely compact hindquarters propel her with ease and style. CC,BOB and G2. Well deserved. 2. Goad’s, Rosanport Play Me. Classy b/t. Typical of the good sound exhibits from this kennel. So much to like. Good size. Well balanced. Pleased all through. Moved and showed well.3. Armstrong’s, Lauralee Single Girl. Heavy boned b/t. So much to like., typical of this good kennel. Lovely in profile. Moved and showed well. Very eye catching. Another good one.
