SMOOTH HAIRED
MPD. (1). 1. Grahams', Gameron Simply Red. As the name implies young red male with well defined skull shape, pleasing eye and correct mouth. Kept a good topline on the move. Still very raw but full of promise. PD. (2). 1. McCarthy's, Topthorne Gregory at Seatris. Another red male youngster. Larger type than Minor Puppy. Carrying plenty of substance. Well presented and handled. Needs time. PGD. (2). 1. Cooper's, Sontag Marcus Absent. Super head piece on this black and tan male. Good mouth. Strong well muscled animal. Moved with ease around the ring. 2. Davies's, Undeg Humming Top. Red male, not as masculine as the winner I would like more substance in a male. LD. (8). 1. Kerry's, Sontag Sir Cumference of Kireton. Black and tan male. Good honest dog with very appealing head piece, correct mouth. Well defined and flowing neck into good shoulders. Level topline which he kept on the move. Has plenty of breed appeal, plus a very steady temperament which comes across in his handling and presentation. This in mind I was pleased to award him the CC. 2. Bethel's, Hampdach Pyrrus. Red smaller type than winner. Shapely head and eye, correct mouth. Level backline. Pleasing angles all through. 3. Cedavoch Honour Bound. OD. (5). 1. Cooper's, Ch. Sontag Simon Le Bone JW. Black and tan male. Lovely type so much to offer the breed. The best of heads, good mouth. Well boned with super feet. Does not always give the best of himself but nevertheless you cannot overlook him. A very worthy title holder. RCC. 2. Rawson's, Ch. Rosenket Kaptain Kirk. Black and tan. Well presented and handled. Another very worthy Champion. Poses a lovely picture on the stack with bags of breed appeal. 3. Cedavoch Galadrim. MPB. (4). 1. Norton's, Matzell Mildred. Red youngster presented a lovely image on the stack. Out of all the puppies here on the day she was the most together in all departments. BP. 2. Rosenket Melody Maker. Black and tan baby who just needs time. I am sure these two will change places often as they both mature. 3. Punter's, Abbagirl Here I Am at Wecumen. PB. (2). 1. Norton's, Matzell Mildred. JB. (4). 1. Bethels', Hampdach Saving Grace. 2. Turner's, Marictur Moulin Rouge. Both these young red bitches have a lot of maturing to do. You can find lots to like about both but on the day winner had more body length which gave her more of an elegant outlook. Both have stacks of time and I am sure will mature on nicely. 3. Cedavoch I Love to Boogie. YB. (3). 1. Turner's, Marictur Moulin Rouge. 2. Nevitt's, Churchoak Nin's Naughtier at Swynol. Chocolate and tan. Well handled by her young handler. I felt on the day that she would have benefited being a few pounds lighter. This would have give her more elegance and a keener outline. PGB. (2). 1. Grahams', Roleta Red Letter Day for Gameron. This was another bitch who would have looked a lot better for loosing a few pounds. Having said that, is sound enough was very easy to go over. I preferred her shoulder placement and better feet over second which won her the class. 2. Holburn's, Phaeland Strathisla Dawn. Clear red. She has a very appealing head and eye, but I would like a better shoulder with thicker feet. LB. (5). 1. Lovick-Gibbs', Roleta Keepin Up Appearances. Yet another red. Lovely type sound as a bell with enough bone for her size. Very feminine throughout. Level topline which was kept at all times. Moved out well. 2. Rawson's, Churckoak Some Like it Hot at Rosenket. Chocolate and tan. Loved her head and eye shape. Very sound all through. Close between these two. 3. Marictur Uptown Madam. OB. (4). 1. Bethels', Ch. Hampdach Alinga JW. Clear red bitch I have never seen her look better. Beautiful head and eye, well made throughout. Level topline which she maintained at all times. Loved her outline on the stack. Drove out well with enough purpose on the move. Good angulation behind. Certainly made the most of herself on the day. Pleased to award her CC and BOB. 2. Hunt's, Ch. Carpaccio Precious Pearl. Enough of her but you have to go over her to appreciate this. Sound as a bell. Smart mover. Well handled and presented. RCC. 3. Ch. Matzell Maid of Honour. 4. Rosenket Krystal Singer. These made up a class of four worthy winners in the breed.
