SMOOTH-HAIRED
V (2) 1 Turner’s Ch Marictur Miss Midnight. Beautiful bitch with good
head, dark almond eye and correct dentition, nicely set on ears, elegant neck
set into excellent well laid shoulders, good length to upper arm, depth and
length to rib allowing topline to be level at all times, good rear angulation,
moved soundly with drive from rear. BB and Best Veteran. 2 Hunt’s Ch/Ir Ch
D’Arisca Class Distinction At Carpaccio. Another quality dog, this time my
favourite choc/tan. I preferred the slightly longer upper arm of the winner,
lovely masculine head with good eye, mouth and ear set, shoulders well laid
giving a good sweep of keel, topline level at all times, well angulated rear,
moved well.
P (1) 1 Williams’ Cwmdarhian Mrs Betsey. 8 month b/t puppy with lovely
outline, plenty of length and topline kept throughout, typical head with good
dark almond eye, correct dentition, and good ear set, length and arch to neck,
well laid shoulders giving good sweep of keel, length to upper arm, well ribbed
and good rear angulation, still needs to tighten up slightly, but moved very
well over such rough ground, very promising. Res BB, BP.
J (3, 2) 1 Hunt’s Am Ch Bessdachs Beam Me Up At Carpaccio (Imp).
Imposing dog wth lovely outline and strong masculine head, super front and
length to upper arm, well ribbed with level topline, good hindquarters, movement
was positive with drive, however, he was almost totally black, no chest spots
and hardly any tan on the face, which for me, totally spoilt an otherwise nice
dog. Res BD.
OD (1) 1 Hunt’s Lauralee Living Daylights At Carpaccio. Lovely b/t with
great head set on a lovely long neck, good sweep of keel, well placed shoulders
and length in upper arm, well ribbed with depth and length, strong well
angulated rear, movement very positive with drive, liked this dog because of his
masculine elegance, not overdone in any way, showed and handled with aplomb. BD
and BOB.
PGB(1) 1 Hunt’s Lauralee Miss Chokky Wokey At Carpaccio. Choc/tan who
is a bit too much up on the leg for me, good quality head, correct eye and good
reach of neck, sufficient keel and good front, topline kept throughout and hind
angulation good, front movement more positive on the day as she was going
something a little odd on the left hind leg whilst in the ring.
OB(2) 1 Turner’s Marictur Moulin Rouge. Two bitches of completely
differing type, liked the quality and overall refinement of winner, good
feminine head and well set on ear, sufficient neck and well placed shoulders,
topline kept at all times, well angulated fore and aft, movement positive with
drive. 2 Rawson’s Ch Rosenket Krystal Singer. This b/t bitch had an exceptional
head which unfortunately was affected by a skin condition on the day. Although
she was a heavier type than winner, still feminine and eye catching, slightly
shorter in upper arm to winner, well ribbed with depth and length, moved well
keeping topline throughout.
