SMOOTH HAIRED
BEST OF BREED: Ellis Tealby Taken as Read. Dog CC: Chambers Rijobeau I Swear Ya Honour at Viewmoor. Res Dog CC: Eales & Tite Ch Lauralee Role Of Honour Via Rijobeau. Bitch CC: Ellis Tealby Taken as Read. Res Bitch CC: Lovick Gibbs Roleta Keepin Up Appirances. Best Puppy: Rawson Rosenket Opal Essence. VD/B (5,2) 1 Goad's Meganhol Abracadabra. Very sound b/t bitch with good front and depth of keel, nice reach of neck running into well laid back shoulders, moved well. 2 Davis Lauralee Temptation. Similar type b/t, not as steady on the table as winner. Sound bitch with good movement and well angulated hindquarters. 3 Jeffery's Rosenket What a Wizard at Andax ShCM. MPD (3,1) 1 Jones Adnerbs Smooth Criminal. Nice youngster who is mature for his age. Good head, feet, front and forechest, well angulated hindquarters. 2 Jeffrey's Carpaccio Summer Class at Andax. Not the hindquarters of the winner and tends to toe in when seen from behind, but a nice happy mover who was enjoying himself. PD (3,1) 1 Chauhan's Hampdach Man in Black. Very nice balanced b/t with excellent bone and good depth and length of ribbing. Firm topline kept at all times and strong well angulated hindquarters. Moved with purpose. 2 Lovick & Gibbs Tealby Pride n Prejudice at Roleta. Smaller more elegant type with good bone for his size and lovely reach of neck but less mature and not the hind angulation of the winner. JD (7,2) 1 Chambers Rijobeau I Swear Ya Honour at Viewmoor. A very well balanced red with good head, long reachy neck running into well laid back shoulders. Good depth and length of ribbing, moved with drive keeping a firm level topline. I would like a little more of him but he is so nicely constructed throughout. I am sure he has a great future. Pleased to award him the CC. 2 Ellis Tealby Another Rumour in Red. Super boned, mature, happy red with masculine head and excellent front. With better hindquarters he could have pushed for top honours. 3 Higgins Leveliss Long Lankin. PGD (2) 1 Hedges Silandajo Best Intentions. Well balanced b/t who looked a picture standing but lost outline moving as he is so happy and his handler needs to settle him down to the job. 2 Williams Lauralee Charles Dickens at Cwmdarhian. A nice b/t of heavier type with excellent bone, but he is too overloaded in front for me. Well handled. LD (5,1) 1 Hedges Roleta Red Boots to Shine for Silandajo. Nice red dog, lovely head and expression, good depth and length of ribbing, moved well both coming and going. Handled well. 2 Goad's Rosanport the Illusionist. Sound b/t with good head and reach of neck running into well placed shoulders. Kept topline moving. 3 McNaughton's Cedavoch Honour Bound. OD (8,3) 1 Eales & Tite's Ch Lauralee Role Of Honour Via Rijobeau. A favourite of mine since a youngster. Beautifully constructed throughout with excellent bone and feet, well muscled hindquarters which he used to good effect moving with drive and extension. Res. CC. 2 Dalgety's Thundergay Archduke. Another I have admired but of a heavier type, again nicely constructed and excellent bone. Moved soundly but just needs to show more enthusiasm to complete the package. 3 Rawson's Ch Rosenket Kaptain Kirk. PB (4,1) 1 Rawson's Rosenket Opal Essence. Very nice youngster with compact body, good head and reach of neck, well angulated hindquarters, super bone for size and she moved well. Best Puppy and BPIS. 2 McCarthy's Vomgolf Star Pick for Seatris. Another nice puppy similar in type to the winner with very feminine head and super tight feet. I just preferred the hindquarters of the Opal Essence. 3 Seago & Gibbard's Tealby Lorna Doone. JB (10,1) An excellent class of varying types. 1 Ellis Tealby Tittle Tattle. Very compact b/t, well bodied, lovely head and expression, super bone and feet, moved out well with purpose. 2 Rawson's Rosenket Melody Maker. Another very nice bitch from this kennel, similar in type to winner and a close decision. I just preferred the feet. 3 Cooper Lauralee Coco Pops To Sontag. PGB (3,1) 1 Dalgety's Thundergay My Fair Lady. A very pleasing b/t well constructed, excellent shape, good bone, lovely front and forechest, nice well angulated hindquarters. Looked a picture standing. 2 Seago & Gibbard's Roleta Prestige Lotus. Compact choc/tan of nice type, preferred the hindquarters of winner. LB (8,2) Excellent class of quality throughout. 1 Ellis Tealby Taken as Read. I have always admired this red bitch and she certainly did not disappoint on close examination. Well up on size for a bitch but she is so beautifully constructed and an excellent mover. On tip top form today to take the CC (her third), BOB and BIS a very worthy winner, congratulations. 2 Dalgety's Thundergay Magdalena. Another quality exhibit from this kennel and the same remarks apply as to her kennel mate in the previous class. Very true movement but just wish she had more enthusiasm. 3 Lockett-Walters Ralines Rumour Has It. OB (2) 1 Lovick Gibbs Roleta Keepin Up Appirances. An eye catching red of nice size. Well balanced throughout. Good head and eye, top and underline. Moved well. Res. CC. 2 Armstrong's Lauralee Peeping Fawn.Red, nice type, clean outline, head, neck and front, good strong hindquarters.
