May I take this opportunity to thank the East of England Agricultural Society for a most enjoyable day. It was my first judging appointment, non CC at a general championship show, and I enjoyed myself throughout the whole of the days events. My stewards were extremely official and professional. J

D(2) 1 Norton’s Matzell Man Of The Moment. 7 months red, lovely overall picture, compact and well balanced, mature for one so young, masculine head and expression, correct eye shape and dentition, good reach of neck, prominent forechest and length of ribbing, good front assembly and rear hindquarters, level topline, kept whilst on the move, moved with drive around the ring, promising future ahead. BD and BP. 2 Macdonald’s Bensarka Phoenix Sun. 7 months red, masculine head and expression, correct eye shape and dentition, good reach of neck into a level topline, longer in length than first, moved around the ring with drive, keeping topline level, a nice puppy and should also have a promising future.

PGD(1) 1 Graham’s Gameron Simply Red. 22 months, Red, muscular head and expression, correct eye shape and dentition, good reach of neck, prominent forechest, good length of ribbing, would prefer more rear hind angulation, level topline kept whilst on the move, moved with drive, well handled.

LD(1) 1 Starkey’s Carpaccio Top Of The Class At Hamoura. Black and tan, 3 years. Masculine head and expression, matured well, well muscled and in good condition, longer in leg than I would prefer, correct eye shape and dentition, good reach of neck into a level topline kept whilst on the move, moved with drive around the ring, handled well.

OD(1) 1 Hunt &Hunt’s Lauralee Living Daylights At Carpaccio. Black and tan, 2 years, another nice dog at this kennel, muscular head and expression, correct eye shape and dentition, prominent forechest and good reach of neck, good front assembly and rear hindquarters, level topline, kept whilst on the move, moved with drive, would prefer more length of leg, unsettled on the table today, probably due to the heat, in good condition. Res D.

JB(2) 1 Macdonald’s Bensarka Golden Garter. 7 months red, litter sister to second in puppy dog, more compact than brother, feminine head and expression, correct eye and dentition, prominent forechest, good front and rear hind angulation, level topline kept whilst on the move, should also have a promising future ahead. 2 Riseborough’s Matzell Maid Specially. Black and tan, 7 months, litter sister to my Best Puppy winner, feminine head and expression, correct eye and dentition, not so mature as brother, her first show and first show for handler, both were a little anxious but done extremely well, once settled, in time should do well, level topline kept whilst on the move.

PGB(1) 1 Punter’s Abbagirls Here I Am At Welcumen. 22 months red, matured well, feminine head and expression, correct eye shape and dentition, prominent forechest, good front and rear assembly, correct length of ribbing, level topline, kept whilst on the move, handled well. Res B.

OB(2) 1 Norton’s Ch Matzel Maid Of Honour. 4 years red, mother to best puppy and best dog winner. Has maintained her good condition after having a litter, feminine head and expression, correct eye shape and dentition, good reach of neck, good front and rear assembly, level topline, kept whilst on the move, moved with drive around the ring, has a good ring presence, admired her from puppy. BB and BOB. 2 Macdonald’s Am Ch Hampdach Classic Gold Bensarka. Mother to junior dog second and junior bitch winner. Also has kept her good condition after having a litter, feminine head and expression, correct eye shape and dentition, good reach of neck, prominent forechest, level topline, kept whilst on the move, preferred movement and drive of first, well handled.
