Thank you for inviting me to judge at this prestigious Northern Show. Thank you to my kind and helpful stewards. A special thank you to exhibitors for bringing your dogs. Standard Smooth Dachshunds. A nice entry of well bred good examples of the breed.

OD 1 Hunt's Lauralee Living Daylights at Carpaccio. Masculine choc. Nice head and eye, good shoulders and topline. Sound and well balanced BD and BOB. 2 McNaughton's Cedavoch Born to Boogie. Lovely coated clear red. Nice head and ears, good pigmentation. Good overall body shape.Moved well on firm feet, RBD.

PB Williams Rijobeau Innit to Winnit by Cwmdarhian. Pretty clear red puppy, nice head and ears. Good pigmentation. Good body shape. Everything in the right place. Should grow on nicely. BPIB.

PGB Traffords Dabrenhof Sally Forth Very sound B/T in lovely condition, nice head and eye, good pigmentation. Good overall shape, excellent mover on firm feet RBB.

OB A quality class of four lovely bitches. Just preferred the overall aspect of the winner. 1 McNaughton's I Love to Boogie. Elegant clear red, good  head and ears, good pigmentation. Super overall body shape. Excellent mover on good feet. BB BOS. 2 Coopers Lauralee Coco Pops to Sontag. Nice choc, good head and eye. Good topline. Well balanced overall. 3 Turners Marictur Moulin Rouge.
