I enjoyed judging and was pleased to find quality right through the
class. Temperaments were steady.
MPD(2) 1 Jones’ Adnerbs Smooth Criminal. A good start, smart young dog,
pleasing in head, neck and front, firm topline, sound mover, just a bit
unsettled in front movement. 2 Jeffrey’s Carpaccio Summer Class At Andax.
Another smart puppy, good length of body, balanced outline, tan markings on head
could be better, tail set a bit high, moved well.
PD (2) 1 Bethel &Payton’s Hampdach Gold Quest. Good size, very
pleasing in outline, well angulated, very good head and expression, long
ribcage, sound mover. 2 Wilkinson’s Hampdach Dark Knight. Typical puppy, today
not giving his best, lovely head, firm topline, moved quite well.
JD(4) 1 Chambers’ Rijobeau I Swear Ya Honour At Viewmoor. Very smart
red dog of good size and excellent outline, super head, long neck, very good
body for his age, good bone and feet, sadly a reluctant mover. 2 Higgins’
Leveliss Long Lankin. Very masculine dog, pleasing in head, good feet, front
movement let him down. 3 Furber’s Gameron Smart Choice At Dorysa.
PGD(1) 1 Linacre’s Cavalleria Rusticana. Excellent temperament, nice
head and expression, would prefer more neck, good forechest and body, tail
carriage a bit high, moved quite well.
LD(4) 1 Hunt’s Lauralee Living
Daylights At Carpaccio. Slightly lower on leg than my ideal, still an excellent
dog with a super temperament, very good head and eye, excellent neck and
forechest, sound mover, well presented. 2 Macdonald’s Carpaccio Black Out At
Bensarka. Slightly bigger dog with a prominent forechest, masculine head, good
body and topline, sound mover. 3 Davies’ Undeg Humming Top.
OD(7) 1 Eales &Tite’s Ch Lauralee Role Of Honour Via Rijobeau.
CC. Top class dog with great attitude, sound mover, pleasing in head and
expression, excellent neck, front and body, firm topline, sound mover, well
presented. 2 Oxley’s Ir Ch Lauralee The Real Thing At Owlery ShCM. Another
excellent dog, slightly heavier, still balanced, excellent neck, topline, well
angulated, moved soundly. RCC. 3 Bethel’s Ch Hampdach Pyrrus.
VD(1) 1 Jeffrey’s Rosenket What A Wizard At Andax ShCM. Well
presented veteran dog, today a bit overweight and this spoilt his outline
somewhat, nice head, big strong teeth, sound mover.
PB(1) 1 Bethel’s Hampdach Black Opel. Pleasing puppy, good
outline for her age, nice head and expression, very good body and coat, tail set
and carriage could be better, moved well.
JB(6, 2) 1 Trafford’s Dabrenhof Sally Forth. Perhaps slightly bigger
than most of my winners, but she is all quality, lovely head, very good neck,
front, good length of ribcage, firm topline, sound mover. 2 Cooper’s Lauralee
Coco Pops To Sontag. A bit heavier than the winner, still feminine, firm topline,
sound mover. 3 Gatheral-Graham’s Rijobeau League Of Honour.
PGB (3, 1) 1 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Altariel. Lovely type, much
to like about her, pleasing in head and expression, well angulated in front,
firm topline, sound mover. 2 Higgins’ Matzell Misty Morning Over Leveliss. Not
quite the movement of winner, pleasing in outline and size, feminine head, would
like a longer ribcage, topline a bit soft.
LB(6, 1) 1 Turner’s Marictur Moulin Rouge. Balanced in outline,
good size, nice head and expression, strong neck, very good forechest, strong
quarters, sound mover. 2 Hunt’s Lauralee Miss Chokky Wokey At Carpaccio.
Feminine bitch, very confident, excellent mover, just preferred outline of
winner. 3 Higgins’ Matzell Morning Chorus For Leveliss.
OB(3) 1 Norton’s Matzell Mildred. CC and BOB. Excellent young bitch who
appealed greatly, lovely head and eye, long neck, well angulated, sound mover,
in top condition. 2 McNaughton’s Cedavoch I Love To Boogie. Very similar in type
and size, excellent front and topline, sound mover. RCC. 3 Turner’s Marictur
Uptown Madam JW.
VB(1) 1 Davis’ Lauralee Temptation. B/t, 7 years old, shown in
excellent condition, very good head, body and topline.
