 Thank you to the committee for the invitation. I was surprised by the number of exhibits with dirty teeth. Exhibits with good hard muscle were very much in the minority. MPD (1) 1 Tite and Eale's Rijobeau Caught Red Handed. Mature 7 month red. Masculine head, good forechest and shoulder placement, good bone, feet could be tighter, ribbing OK, well angulated hindquarter and good tailset. Steady mover. BPD PD (2, 1) 1 Gatheral-Graham's Phaeland Screw Driver. 9 mth. Red. Good head, prominent forechest, feet OK, good ribbing, well developed hindquarter and good tailset. Moved out well behind, a touch close in front. JD (2, 1) 1 Bethel and Payton's Hampdach Gold Quest. Lovely temperament on this red. Nice size, good head and eye, enough bone, needs a touch more forechest. Good ribbing, good topline, well angulated hindquarter. YD (3, 1) 1 Bethel & Payton's Hampdach Gold Quest. 2 Burrell's Lauralee Northern Echo. B/T, nervous temperament on this exhibit made table examination difficult. Masculine head, good bone, benefit from more forechest, deep bodied, and would prefer better angulated hindquarters. Moved OK PGD (2) 1 Linacre's Cavalleria Rusticana. Good sized red with lovely temperament. Nice head and eye, good feet and bone, enough forechest, would benefit from touch more ribbing, good topline and moved out well. 2 Burrell's Laurale Northern Echo. LD (2) 1 McNaughton's Cedavoch Born to Boogie. Very nicely shaped, well balanced good sized red, good bone, feet OK, nicely angulated at both ends with enough ribbing, good top and underline, moving very nicely, well handled to RCC. 2 McDonald's Carpaccio Black Out to Bensarka. B/T in a bigger frame, lovely tight elbows, would benefit from more forechest, nice feet and bone, hindquarters OK, good steady mover. OD (7, 1) 1 Armstrong's Ch Lauralee Lloyd George. Beautifully balanced all male B/T. Lovely masculine head with correct eye, prominent forechest with well laid shoulder, excellent ribbing, deep bodied, carrying a good top and underline. Well angulated hindquarter, moved soundly. DCC 2 Cooper's Ch Sontag Simon le Bone. Good sized B/T, good head and eye, lovely bone, enough forechest, well ribbed, good hindquarters, good topline stacked and moving. MPB (1) 1 William's Rijobeau Innet Tu Winnit by Cwmdarhian. Lovely clear red of 7 mths. Beautifully shaped with nice fore and hindquarters, excellent tailset, well ribbed and deep bodied, moved soundly. Was a shade apprehensive in this class but she settled later to win BP. PB (2) 1 Gatheral-Graham's Phaeland Smooth 'n' Dark. B/T of good type but she was not happy and this made table examination difficult.. Beautiful head with correct eye, well laid shoulder and well angulated hindquarters with correct tailset, well ribbed, not moving as well as her construction would suggest. 2 Dent's Phaeland Starla Dancer. Red Did not want to co-operate with her handler, lovely head, could benefit from more forechest, finer bone and not as balanced as 1. JB (5) 1 Rawson's Rosenket Opal Essense. Balanced B/T, very feminine with lovely temperament. Has prominent forechest and good shoulder, has enough bone, feet could be tighter, well angulated hindquarters, well ribbed, moved out soundly keeping her lovely outline. 2 McCarthey's Vomgolf Star Pick for Seatris. B/T lovely size and balance, very nice forequarters, hindquarters and ribbing OK, moved out very well. YB (3, 2) 1 Cooper's Lauralee Coco Pops to Sontag, nice sized, well balanced C/T sweet head, has enough forechest and good bone for size, good ribbing, well angulated hindquarter and good tailset, sound mover. 2 Tite & Eales Rijobeau Matron of Honour. Red, larger framed bitch, well balanced, looks very nice stacked, just loses the balance when she moves. Nice head, with good top and underline, with lovely feet. PGB (3,1) 1 Dalgety's Thundergay My Fair Lady. Lovely sized well balanced b/t. Head OK, Good ribbing, nicely shaped body, enough forechest, feet could be tighter, sound steady mover. 2 Rawson's Rosenket Melody Maker. Lovely temperament on this B/T, nice head, well shaped body, looks very nice stacked just lost topline when moving. LB (5, 2) 1 Norton's Matzell Mildred. Elegant red bitch with lovely feet. Beautiful head and eye, very well angulated with prominent forechest, deep bodied with good ribs, good top and underline with correct tailset. Sound steady movement. RCC. 2 Turner's Marictur Moulin Rouge. Red. Good bone and ribbing, preferred shoulders on first, nice hindquarters, steady mover. OB 1 Armstrong's Lauralee Peeping Fawn. Shaded red, beautifully balanced bitch, good temperament, excellent head and eye, prominent forechest, excellent bone, well angulated fore and hindquarters, excellent ribbing and tailset. Moved out soundly keeping her lovely outline. Very well handled to CC, her 2nd, her title can't be far away. BOB over her kennelmate and delighted to see her RBIS. 2 McNaughton's Cedavoch I Love to Boogie. Lovely shaped red. I very much liked her rear but felt the first scored in forechest. Very well balanced sound bitch, preferred head on first, good shoulder, well ribbed and steady mover.
