DACHSHUND SMOOTH HAIRED: PGD (1) 1 Jones' Hampdach
Who Made Who for Adnerb. Stood alone but worthy class winner.
Balanced without exaggeration. Head and skull of good proportions
with desired expression. Forequarters - well laid back shoulders
with forelegs fitting neatly to forechest. Good length of ribbing.
Topline level at all times. Well muscled hindquarters. Moved with
purpose. LD (1) 1 Cooper's Kochana's Celebration of
Hacienda at Sontag. General appearance was of a hound of good
proportions with all the characteristics of the breed and did not
disappoint on 'going over'. Elegant head carriage with graceful neck
running into well fitting forequarters. Strong bone - well shaped
tight feet. Well muscled throughout. Pushed hard for best dog but
hind movement a little disappointing in the challenge. Reserve Best
Dog. OD (2) 1 Hunt's Ch Cwmdarhian Hogans Hero at
Carpaccio J.W. A lovely hound who today had the overall quality,
balance and appearance that I was looking for. He is of good
proportions throughout. He won the class with his overall movement -
good front extension and good rear drive. Best Dog. 2 Jeffery's
Carpaccio Summer Class at Andax. Unlucky to meet my winner today.
Had many of the attributes of 1. A correctly proportioned skull with
lovely dark almond eyes. Of good proportion in forequarters body and
hindquarters. Today could not match my winner in movement.
PB (1) 1 Hunts Carpaccio Cognac Diamond. Stood alone but
what a lovely exhibit. Needed to be 'gone over' to appreciate her
conformation as she is still very much a puppy. Her general
appearance is balanced with no exaggerations. She has enough height
to enable her to cover the ground with free, true movement. Is of
good length to height ratio. Everything flowed from head to tail.
Should have a bright future. PGB (2,1) 1 Higgins'
Leveliss Drink Down The Moon. A quality bitch with all the
appearance and characteristics of the breed. Well presented with
neat well fitting forequarters.Of good proportions throughout. Good
top and underline with good length of ribbing. Reserve Best Bitch.
OB (1) 1 Higgins' Leveliss What She Said. Ticked
all the boxes for me today. Balanced, everything flowed with no
point exaggerated todistract from the overall picture. Lovely head
carriage. Neat front, excellent bone throughout. Level top and
underline - good length of ribbing. Hindquarters strong - well
muscled with correct degree of angulation. Movement 'spot on'.
Excellent rear extension. Best Bitch, Best of Breed, Reserve Best In
Show
