V (9) 1 Turner’s Ch Marictur Uptown Madam, b/t bitch of quality with a correct forehand onto well rounded ribs, moved out with style from good quarters maintaining a good profile. BVIS; 2 Norton’s Ch Matzell Maid Of Honour, lovely girl who presented a great profile, has a strong backline supporting good ribs & moved out correctly both fore & aft; 3 Kerry’s Sontag Sir Cumference of Kireton. MPD (1) 1 Higgins’ Leveliss Saucy Sailor, 7 months baby of much promise, heavy bone with tight feet, beautiful head with lengthy neck onto a strong backline, his quarters are developing well & he went around the ring with style. BPIS. PD (2) 1 Gatheral & Graham’s Phaelands Star Double, a young man who was overwhelmed by the occasion & would not relax, nicely constructed with a pleasing head & expression but I could not assess his movement. JD (1) A. ND (0). PGD (2) 1 Seagos’ Amilda Dramatiker, red with a wonderful profile both stacked & on the move, moved true both fore & aft, correct shoulder placement onto good well rounded ribs, presented & handled to advantage. LD (3) 1 Ellis’ Tealby Red Between the Linesthis, structure was OK, has a great pro-sternum & carries a strong backline, used his quarters well on the move, today I felt he would have benefited from a tad more weight; 2 Furber’s Gameron Smart Choice to Dorysa, has reasonable forehand & a level backline, ribs are good & moved out Ok his feet needed attention. OD (8) A very good class. 1 Hunt’s Ch Cwmdarian Hogans Hero at Carpaccio, well known boy of top drawer quality, movement is strong & correct & has bone & substance combined with elegance, very appealing head & expression & stacked out he ticked all the boxes. BOB & RBIS; 2 Rawson’s Rosenket Nostra Damas, quality male who pushed 1 hard, very correct in construction & movement is sound. RBD; 3 Cooper’s Ch Kochanas Celebration of Hacienda at Sontag.
MPB 1 Wands’ Leveliss Doffin Mistress, litter sister to dog puppy, very happy & pleasing with correct construction, has parallel movement & has a promising future I am sure. PB (2) A. JB (2) 1 Hunt’s Carpaccio Cognac Diamond, chocolate with correct forehand onto well rounded ribs which in turn supported a good backline, moves out with a happy attitude, today she was suffering a phantom which slightly spoilt her underline. NB (2) 1 L Doffin Mistress; 2 Seagos’ Tealby Lorna Doone, a smaller girl, a bit light in bone however quite well constructed & has a very happy disposition. PGB (8) 1 Rawson’s Rosenket Queen Of Hearts, very lovely chocolate who is well put together, the right amount of bone & substance for a bitch, a great forehand & well rounded ribs, moved out true coming & going, appealing head & expression & maintained a good profile at all times; 2 Higgins’ Leveliss Drink Down The Moon, a different type to 1 but a very balanced girl with all the correct proportions, movement was sound. LB (8) 1 Seagos’ Amlida Evora, very sound & correct b/t, attractive head with enough neck onto a well placed shoulder assembly, well rounded ribs supported a strong backline, strode around the ring with ease; 2 Hunt’s Carpaccio Black Pearla, different type to 1 being a finer build but stacked & moved out very well, neat & tidy front with the right proportions to well angulated quarters, attractive head & expression. OB (4) 1 Higgins’ Leveliss What She Said, beautifully presented b/t who ticked all the boxes, bone, substance & movement were all first-rate, powerful well angulated quarters used on the move her backline & underline were in perfect balance. BB & RBOB & pushed hard for top honours; 2 Norton’s Matzell Maid In Time, good exhibit, has similar qualities to 1, shown to advantage & looked a picture when stacked. I just preferred the movement of 1; 3 Rawson’s Rosenket Pillow Talk. VARIETIES – TERRY THORN STAKES (12) 1 Reed’s Cedac Octavia Surprise for Deercroft, b/t Min S/h, beautiful girl with correct proportions, attractive head with a good neck onto well laid back ribbing & sound quarters, moved out with style; 2 Kent’s Lokmadi Paper Tiger, lovely girl who as always presented a great profile, moved out with style & enthusiasm, a great forehand & carries a level backline which she holds on the move; 3 Wellam’s Lokmadi Gypsy Moth at Barryann. MEMBERS STAKES – P 1 Hugh’s Julidachs Jacosta, Min S/h bitch who has a very pleasing profile, pretty head & expression, nice sized girl who moved out well; 2 Bournes’ Yaapeet Ladt Georgia, an adorable chocolate baby who was overwhelmed by the occasion, very raw but a promising girl. O 1 Kent’s Lokmadi Hidden Dragon, red Min S/h who is quite lovely, her movement is sound & stacks out very well creating a good picture, correct forehand with well angulated quarters gives her the correct balance; 2 Callow’s Garthorne Little Eva, a smaller red Min S/h who is very appealing, very pretty head & expression onto a correct shoulder assembly, level backline & well angulated quarters, movement parallel; 3 Reed’s Deercroft Devotion.
