Thank you to the Dachshund Club
committe for my judging appointment and to the exhibitors for giving me such
a good entry, also to my steward Pam Barber for keeping things running
smoothly. Overall I was very pleased with the quality of the dogs entered.
SpBEGIN 1. Pachego's, Compare the Market with Oxondachs. A b/t just over 6
months which gave me a very nice outline to look at. Nice head, reach of
neck. Good fornt and rear angulation. Level topline which he kept standing
and on the move. MPD. (4). 1. Jeffery's, Carpabolo Swansong at Andax. B/t. A
lovely shaped pouppy with nice head. Good front. Nice reach of neck. Well
ribbed. Once he settled down he had a good topline, well angulated. 2.
Pachego Compare the Market with Oxondachs. 3. Starkey's, Carpaccio Top of
the Day is Hamoura. PD. (2,1). 1. Armstrong's, Lauralee Nicholas Nickleby.
B/t. A 10 months old who took my eye. Quite mature and finished looking.
Good masculine head. Long neck. Good fornt, ribbed well back. Kept topline
at all times. Great angulation. Not over done. Just nice and didn't he just
dribe round the ring. BPIB. JD. (1). 1. Adison and Peel's, Excellemagic
Wonderful Way. Red. A very nicely shaped dog who showed a very nice outline
standing and on the move with good head and front. Ribbed well back. Good
angulation to the rear. Just needs to fill out in front. Moved well. PGD.
(5). 1. Gatheral-Graham's, Phaeland Seal the Deal. B/t. A nice example of
the breed with nice head. Good arch of neck. Good front, well ribbed.
Topline kept at all times. Good rear angulation. Moved well. 2. Linacre's,
Rosenket Rigoletto. B/t. Another good looking dog. Good head. Well laid
shoulders. Nicely ribbed back. Good angulation. Topline kept at all times.
3. Strongfellow's, Songtag Silvan Sorcerer. LD. (4). 1. Jones's, Hampdach
Who Made Who for Adnerb. Red. A beautiful shape dog who kept his topline
standing and on the move with nice prominent front. Good reach of enck.
Excellent shoulder placement. Well ribbed back. Good angulation. 2.
Graham's, Gameron Simply Red. Red. A very stylish looking dog with super
head and eye. Reachy neck. Nice shoulder placement. Well ribbed back. Stood
foursquare, kept topline standing and on the move. DCC and BOS. 2. Higgins',
Leveliss Saucy Sailor. B/t. A nicely shaped dog that I have admired from
outside the ring with good dog head. A good reach of neck. Nice shoulder
placement. Well ribbed back. Liked him a lot. Just preferred winner on the
day. RDCC. 3. Seago and Gibbard's, Ch. Amlinda Evora. VD. (1). 1. Kerry's,
Ch. Sontag Sir Cumference of Kireton. B/t. An 8 year old of exceptional
quality. Not a hair out of his coat and he hasn't forgotten what goes on in
the ring. Lovely masculine head with good reach of neck. Good prominent
front. Excellent ribbing. Topline kept at all times. Stood foursquare and
was well angulated. Well handled. Lovely mover. MPB. (4). 1. Norton's,
Matzell Minella. Red. A 7 month old puppy of super quality who showed her
socks off. Kept her topline both standing and on the move with lovely head
and eye. Good reach of neck. Well ribbed. Good angulation. Moved well. BPB.
2. Burk and Manston's, Benavior Nulli Secunda. B/t. Another 7 month old.
Slightly lighter than winner with nice head, reach of neck going into a well
kept topline. Has good front. Good rear angulation. Moved well. I would say
that these two could chance places on a regular basis. 3. Hunt's, Carpaccio
Star Bar. PB. (3). 1. Norton's, Matzell Minella. 2. Hone's, Oxondachs
Enchanted. Red. Unsettled at a previous show but when she moved I thought
she looked lovely with good reach of neck. Well kept topline. Nicely
angulated. She has only lost her confidence and jopefully when worked on by
her owner she should so well. 3. Jones's, Hampdach In These Arms of Adnerb.
JB. (3,1). 1. Lovick-Gibbs', Roleta the Lewis Goodbye. Red. At 17 months a
lovely example with good prosternum. Good shoulder placement. Lovely
pleasing head carried well. Good ribbing. Good topline and tail carriage.
Well angulated at rear. Everything there that should be there. Movd well.
PGB. (5). 1. Gatheral Grahams Phaeland Shy and Deamnding. B/t one with a
good outline. Has a nice reach of neck, good shoulder placeing. Topline kept
at all times. Nicely angulated. Only thing I would ask for is more speed. 2.
Valentine's, Amlida Elise. A super dark Chocolate. Well shaped head and
almond eye. Good reach of neck going into well placed shoulders. Topline
kept at all times. Good underlines and being nicely angulated completed the
picture. Moved well. 3. Andison and Peels', Sontag Sue Cherself. LB. (11,1).
1. Dare's, Hampdach One Way or Another. B/t with a beautiful outline who
flowed round the ring. Has a presence about her. Lovely feminine head. Nice
arch of neck. Good fornt. Topline kept at all times. Moved so smoothly.
Should do very well in the future. 2. Rawson's, Queen of Hearts. Chocolate.
Slightly heavier than winner, of super quality. Lovely shape. Good
prosternum. Topline kept at all times. Well angulated to rear and moved very
nicely. Just preferred winner on the day. 3. Hone's, Oxondachs Bon Bon. OB.
(11,1). 1. Norton's, Ch. Matzell Mildrded. Red. Super quality bitch with a
lovely feminine head, correct eye. Good reach of neck going into well laid
back shoulders. Good topline which she kept at all times. Foursquare coming
and going. Nice angulation. No wrinkle whatsoever. Moved very nciely. BCC
and BOB. I was pleased to see her go RBIS. 2. Armstong's, Lauralee
Alexandora. B/t. Slightly heavier examp,e of super quality with lovely head.
Reachy neck. Good topline and underline. Well angulated. Moved round the
ring with purpose. Well handled. 3. Andison and Peel's, Rijobeau Done n
