MPD (1) 1 Stringfellow’s Sontag Silvan Sorcerer, well grown with good ground clearance, strong neck, firm topline, pleasing head, eye & expression, ample ribbing, strongly coupled, pleasing bone, substance & feet, movement a bit stilted & has a tendency to fly his tail on the move. JD (1) 1 Gatheral-Graham’s Phaeland Star Double, pleasing for type & quality, solidly made with ample bone & substance, pleasing head, eye & expression, pleasing construction of front & rear assemblies, well muscled quarters, somewhat unsettled on the table & moved rather erratically so unable to make a critical assessment of his movement. PGD (2) 1 Linacre’s Rosenket Rigoletto, pleasing size, well shaped & proportioned body, fair ribbing, decent coupling, pleasing tailset & carriage, feet need to tighten & moving a little close at the rear; 2 Jones’ Hampdach Who Made Who for Adnerb, pleasing coat condition & colour, carrying a little too much weight, a little slack in topline, would have preferred a better lay of shoulder & a longer length & return of upper arm & a little more scope on the move. LD (4) 1 Ellis’ Tealby Red Between The Lines, pleasing type & quality, balanced masculine head with good eye & expression, powerful underjaw, strong neck, firm topline, ample length of body, fair front assembly, tidy quarters, gave a good account of himself on the move. RCC; 2 Cox, Cobo & Fellows’ Ralines Dark Knight, appealing overall pattern & appearance, masculine head with pleasing eye, good length of muzzle to skull, punishing underjaw, well placed & carried ears, good length of body, ample ribbing, good coat & condition, would have preferred a little more freedom of movement; 3 Payton’s Hampdach Gold Quest. OD (3) 1 Hunt’s Ch Cwmdarhian Hogan’s Hero at Carpaccio, an imposing & masculine exhibit with much to like about him, strongly made body with ample bone & substance, balanced head of decent proportions, keen eye, strong neck, firm topline, ample ribbing, strong loin, cooperating with his handler & giving of his best. CC; 2 Chauhan’s Hampdach Man In Black, an honest sort of dog with a pleasing head, fair length of body, adequate ground clearance, feet well set under body, pleasing bone, substance & feet, not quite as imposing or as active on the move as the winner; 3 Jeffrey’s Carpaccio Summer Class at Andax.
MPB (2) 1 Hunt’s Carpaccio Hershey Kisses, well grown with a look of quality about her, clean outline, pleasing overall balance, feet & elbows well set under body, typical head, eye & expression, doing all that her handler asked of her. BP; 2 Cooper’s Sontag Shanda Leah, beautiful type & quality, nicely shaped head of balanced proportions with a well set & shaped eye giving a keen expression, well made body pleasing proportions, good ribbing, strong loin, shapely quarters, good croup & tailset, very reluctant to show off her paces hence this placing in this class. PB (2) 1 S Shanda Leah; 2 Hone’s Oxondachs Bon Bon, raw youngster needing time to develop more in body & grow into herself, appealing head properties, coat & good texture, topline a little slack & could have been more positive on the move. JB (2) 1 Hone’s Oxondachs Candy Girl, well grown with a typical appearance, refined head with good balance of skull to muzzle, liked her eye & expression, feet & elbows well set under body, looked stylish when stacked on the table & gave a good account of herself on the move; 2 Gatheral-Graham’s Phaeland Special Diamond, super type & quality, refined head properties, strongly made body of good proportions, pleasing ribcage, strong loin with good coupling, shapely rearquarters, very unsettled on the table & not cooperating with her handler on the move. PGB (3,1a) 1 Burke & Manston’s Hampdach Cornelia with Bonavoir, a very pleasing style & pattern, well finished body of good depth & proportions, refined & well balanced head, well ribbed, strong loin & coupling, well set croup & tail, pleasing quarters, moved with style & activity; 2 Jones’ Adnerbs Betty Boop, clean outline, pleasing body depth & proportions, typical head, eye & expression, flowing outline from back of head through neck, topline & croup, good ribbing, a little soft in condition & not quite the front assembly or movement of the winner. LB (4,1) 1 Burke & Manston’s Bonavoir Testa Rossa, quality exhibit of pleasing type & conformation, pleasing balance & symmetry of outline, typical head, eye & expression, ample rib, strong loin, well coupled, moving out well with breed typical carriage & style; 2 Chauhan’s Honey Crisp of Raajput, solidly made exhibit, typical eye & expression, pleasing ribcage & topline, well textured coat, would have preferred slightly tighter feet; 3 Macdonald’s Bensarka Cheeky Vimto. OB (5,1) 1 Hunt’s Ch Carpaccio Cognac Diamond, quality exhibit with a real look of quality & breeding about her, very typical head, eye & expression, elegant & feminine in build but nonetheless workmanlike in outline & proportions, good length & expanse of ribcage, strong well muscled loin, moves with style & purpose with very pleasing carriage & confidence as she moves. CC & BOB; 2 Macdonald’s Bensarka Golden Garter, not quite the style & elegance of the winner but with many pleasing breed typical qualities, balance & refined head with pleasing eye & a powerful underjaw, strong & well muscled neckline, firm topline which she held well on the move, feminine in build & outlook but with a deep & powerful body, moved out steadily with pleasing carriage. RCC; 3 Turner’s Marictur Moulin Rouge.
