I was pleased with the entry, temperament on the whole was good. Several classes were very strong and I was splitting hairs in my choices. 
PD (6) 1 Tite's Phaeland Special Driver At Rijobeau. Promising red boy with super outline. Good head shape and eye, great forechest and depth of keel, neat front, well ribbed, good length with sufficient ground clearance, good bone, well rounded quarters, moved with drive. 2 Jeffery's Carpaccio Swan Song At Andax. Quality B/T with excellent forehand, balanced head with good eye shape, long neck, well placed shoulders, firm body with depth, would like a little more turn of stifle but he moved soundly fore and aft, not quite the verve of 1. 3 Starkey's Carpaccio Topic Of The Day Is Hamoura. 
JD (4) 1 Armstrong's Lauralee Nicholas Nickleby. Nice type with good overall balance. Low to ground but sufficient clearance, good front, tight elbows, level topline, well bent stifles, low hocks, moved true, needs a little more confidence, won on his quality and soundness. 2 Hone's Pachego Compare The Market With Oxondachs. Smaller red boy, not the length of 1 but a sound honest dog. Lovely head, good eye shape, neat front with sufficient pro-sternum, well ribbed, firm topline, moved well off strong quarters. 3 Bethel and Gaskins's Hampdach Simply Red. 
PGD (4) 1 Bethel and Gaskins's Sobahli Sham Prezent President To Hampdach. Nice size, particularly liked his movement which was free with an easy stride, good head and eye, reachy neck with firm front, ribbing carried back, good hind angulation, showed nicely, well handled. 2 Stringfellow's Sontag Silvan Sorcerer. Red boy with masculine head, slightly lighter eye than 1, sound forehand with good ribbing, tendency to arch topline when moving but evens out when stacked, parallel movement fore and aft. 3 Maskell's Clentry Monster Mash At Brownbank.
 LD (4) 1 McNaughton's Cedavoch Sanquhar. Quality red male, masculine head with good eye and lovely expression, super length of neck leading into well laid shoulders, neat front, well ribbed with good depth of body, firm level backline, good hind angulation, stylish on the move. 2 Jones's Hampdach Who Made Who For Adnerb. Different type than 1 being a little more rangey but has a balanced outline, reachy neck, sound forehand, level topline, well turned stifles, preferred head of 1, moved true fore and aft. 3 Graham's Gameron Simply Red. 
OD (5) Good class of quality males. 1 Macdonald's Ch/Am Ch Bensarka Phoenix Sun. Lovely red male who moved and showed beautifully, well constructed all through, long neck leading into well placed shoulders, tight elbows, good pro-sternum, ribbing carried well back, short loin, sound well bent quarters, super outline both stacked and on the move, parallel fore and aft. Dog CC. 2 Starkey's Carpaccio Jasper From Hamoura ShCM. Smaller type but very sound all through, excellent front assembly evenly spaced with upper arm lying close to a well ribbed body, level topline, strong quarters, moving true fore and aft with balanced outline and free flowing stride. Res CC. 3 Higgins's Ch Leveliss Saucy Sailor. 
PB (9, 2) Nice class of babies! 1 Higgins's Leveliss Hong Kong Garden. Promising B/T baby with lovely outline. Super head and expression, good reach of neck leading into sloping shoulders, prominent sternum, good length and depth of body, level backline, well bent stifles, steady positive movement. Best Puppy. 2 Paterson's Phaeland Sent Direct To Ambiesque. Another promising baby that moved and showed well. Lovely head with correct eye shape, good pro-sternum and neat front, long bodied with sufficient ground clearance, held her outline on the move. 3 Tite's Phaeland Starlite Dancer At Rijobeau. 
JB (6) 1 Norton's Matzell Minella. Beautiful red girl so typical of this kennel. Loved her elegance and super outline. Lovely head carriage, long neck, excellent front assembly with elbows lying neatly against a long deep ribcage, good hind angulation, balanced all through, parallel movement fore and aft, with free and flowing action. RES CC. 2 Jones's Hampdach In These Arms Of Adnerb. Another lovely red girl unlucky to meet 1. Nicely balanced with good neck and shoulder placement, compact well muscled body with firm level topline, sound quarters, moved well, preferred head of 1, nicely schooled by her handler. 3 Bennett's Shardaroba Dream Baby. Completed a trio of lovely girls. 
PGB (4) 1 Lovick-Gibbs's Roleta The Lewis Goodbye. Compact girl with sufficient ground clearance, lovely head and expression, good pro-sternum, neat forehand, well ribbed, moved soundly off good hindquarters. 2 Hone's Oxondachs Bon Bon. Nice B/T low to ground with firm level backline. Lovely head shape and almond eye, well bodied with good length and depth, well turned stifle, moved soundly. 3 Morgan-Aitken's Morailsa Secret Romance For Demorgan. 
LB (4,1) Three nice girls. 1 Lovick-Gibbs's Gameron In Kahoots With Roleta. Nice size with good overall balance, typical head and eye, good reach of neck, well placed shoulders with deep brisket and depth of ribbing, sound quarters, moved well with parallel action. 2 Hunt's Carpaccio Hershey Kisses. Free moving chocolate girl with good body shape, firm level topline, good depth of ribbing and pro-sternum, well presented and shown, preferred head of 1, moved soundly. 3 Raggett's Silandajo Red Hotter At Dansila. 
OB (4,1) Another class of three lovely bitches. 1 Hunt's Sontag Shanda Leah. Beautiful red in gleaming condition, I have admired her from the ringside and wondered when she was stood in front of me if I would be disappointed on going over her. But no, she is just lovely, very hard to fault. Full of quality with super head and expression, long neck flowing into well laid shoulders, good sternum and depth of keel with good length of ribbing, well turned stifles, balanced outline which she held on the move, a gorgeous Dachshund, pleased to award her the CC and BOB. 2 Norton's Ch Matzell Maid In Time. Another lovely red, low to ground with good length and depth of body, lovely head carriage, super front assembly, like her kennel mate in Junior she is also very elegant, sound free flowing movement. 3 Higgins's Ch Leveliss What She Said. Completed a trio of beautiful girls.
