PD (2) 1 Williams & Moes’ Cwmdarhian San Andreas, quality, masculine head with good depth of chin. Good reach & width of neck. Well developed thorax with good depth to keel. Strong topline for his age. Well balanced hindquarters, moved soundly. Very promising. BP, RCC; 2 Feddery’s Wanderhund Rising Sun at Santorna, 6 months baby. Not the head of 1 & lacked strength of underjaw. Needs to develop in body, level topline. Not as strong in bone substance & needs to strengthen in movement. JD (2,1a) 1 Hunt’s Carpaccio Trouble In Store, stood alone but liked his overall masculinity & substance. Balanced head with good strength throughout. Well muscled neck, well made front, carried down through to thick padded feet. Good body shape, would like more strength in second thigh, moved steadily. PGD (1) 1 Valentine’s Morailsa Secret Script Tiffwazz, typy dog who today lacked confidence, however, he has a quality head with good depth throughout. Reasonable front but lacks a little return of upper arm & bone substance. Well set hindquarters, moved with good width to rear but needs to reach more in front to match his drive. LD (1) 1 Jeffery’s Carpaccio Swan Song at Andax, typy, quality head & expression but for me lacks depth of underjaw. A little throaty. Has good workmanlike construction & body condition. Reasonable ground clearance. Tail slightly high set. Moved with good reach, a little unsettled. OD (4,1) 1 Norton’s Matzell Man Of The Match, headed an interesting class with much to like about all present, preferred this type of head & expression, strong jaw. Stacked doesn’t show off his neck but on handling has sufficient reach. The best of shoulders & upper arm. Well muscled body & topline. Well muscled hindquarters with good definition of hock, moved soundly. CC; 2 Higgins’ Ch Leveliss Saucy Sailor, stylish dog with good head type, not underjaw of 1. Reasonable length of neck, could do with more fill in of thorax. Good spring of rib & body length. Sound mover; 3 Armstrong’s Ch Lauralee Nicholas Nickleby.
PB (4) 1 Williams & Moes’ Cwmdarhian Hotoff The Press, quality puppy, stylish of good. Clean neck & well developed thorax. Good return of upper arm, would like a shade more length of rib. Nicely rounded hindquarters well balanced, moved with good reach & drive; 2 Jones’ Adnerbs Lexi Get Fizzical, feminine, appealed in type. Pushed hard as she is cleaner in shoulder & has lovely topline, but lacks fill in of thorax & moved narrower in front. Slightly higher tailset; 3 Feddery’s Clentry Tatttie Scon at Santorna. JB (1) 1 C Tattie Scon at S, feminine, quality type. Liked her head & eye shape & expression. Long reach of neck, a shade too much upper arm angulation & would like more ground clearance. Long enough in body, well set hindquarters, moved soundly. PGB (7) 1 Paterson’s Phaeland Sent Direct to Ambiesque, houndy type with strength & flow throughout. Good length of neck & clean front with good angulation & fill in of thorax. Strong, well muscled topline, strong sound mover; 2 Higgins’ Loveliss Hong Kong Garden, different type but liked her head balance & strength of underjaw. Not the reach of neck of 1, clean front, has good body length & ribbing. Not quite the strength in hind movement; 3 Feddery’s Wanderhund Scarlet Witch of Santorna. LB (3,1) 1 Norton’s Matzell Minelia, classic type, good shaped head & lovely expression. Strong neck into well balanced front angulation. Good depth of keel. A little slack in topline on the move but sound mover with goo depth to first thigh; 2 Smith & Connor’s Lady Godiva vd Mibal’s Hoeve at Conchur, 6 months younger than 1 & still has to mature in body & character. Different type of head & slightly rounder in eye. Not as long in upper arm, nor feet as strong. Good strength to topline, moved soundly, would like a shade more length of second thigh. OB (6,1) 1 Williams & Moes’ Hampdach Merinda, my eventual CC & BOB winner, on first impression I thought she was a little overdone in front & would like more ground clearance. On going over her, I thought her quality & type showed in her head & overall balance. She has a lovely head & expression, good ribbing, good balance of 1st & 2nd thigh & moves freely; 2 Bennett’s Shardaroba’s Dream Baby, more workmanlike in type & she has a feminine head, but not quite as balanced in foreface to backskull. Better thorax & depth of keel than 1 but not as strong in bone. Good length of body, with breadth to loin. Depth to hindquarters but would like a shade more length of second thigh. However, she appealed very much in make & shape. RCC; 3 Burke & Manston’s Bonaboir Testa Rossa.
