VD (1) 1 MacDonald, Multi Ch Bensarka Phoenix Sun a nicely constructed well bodied mature male who belies his 7 and three quarter years. He has clean lines and has pleasing construction and condition. Attractive in profile and is satisfying in overall balance in angulations front and rear. Masculine, nicely shaped head, dark eye and pleasing expression. I liked his front, fore-chest and forequarters, overall body and top line although a little too well covered for me. He has good width all through. Moved out with a true action. Best Veteran in Breed. 

PD (2) 1 McNaughton, Cedavoch Tropical Storm a pleasing quality 11 month old who is well grown with good bone and body development. Pleasing overall length and balance; a little heavier in construction than 2nd. I liked his head shape, eye and expression obviously male. True well-made front with desirable prominent fore chest; nice angles front and rear with tight enough elbows in front and firm parallel nicely angled hindquarters. Moved better of the class with confidence and a typical puppy attitude. 2 Paterson and Paterson, Phaeland Second Delivery To Ambiesque another 11 month old who is smart and having refinement of head. Satisfying in bone and body development. Pleasing in profile when standing but tended to pull to side on the move and was difficult to assess. Well enough made in front with adequate fore-chest and is ribbed well back with moderate angles in hindquarters; pleasing width all through. 

JD (2) 1 Higgins, Meganhol Black Musketeer Of Leveliss a 12 month old B/T who has a very attractive overall profile picture. He is well boned and well bodied and is well enough made in front assembly which I preferred to 2nd. Very nice head and expression set on a neck of good length. Overall, he is of good length with just enough body, enough leg length and a firm top line. Good angles front and rear with tight elbows. A happy mover and a little fond of his tail but preferred movement to that of 2nd. 2 Goffin-Thorogood, Matzell Malizani a more mature 18 month old male who is heavier in body than 1st. Pleasing in head shape and proportions both width and length but he was a little reticent which affected his expression, overall demeanour and movement.

 LD (3,1) 1 McNaughton, Carper A G Von Nordor (Imp) a very smart striking red 2 and a half year old male who has a pleasing head of fine classic lines. Well made forequarters with a true front and plenty of fore chest and pleasing tight elbows. Pleasing in overall body having ideal substance with good length and a firm top line and nicely angled hindquarters. Moved with purpose and the better of this class. 2 Starkey, Carpaccio Topic Of The Day Is Hamoura a 3 year old male of moderate profile shape but having noticeable depth of chest. Pleasing head shape although I preferred expression of 1st. True enough in front but needs more fore-chest. Overall of satisfying body length, not firm in back and tended to lose his top line. A little unsettled on the move. 

OD (6,1) A class of some quality males. 1 Tite, Ch Phaeland Special Driver At Rijobeau a super quality 3 year old striking red male having clean lines, excellent profile, proportions and balance. Typical head of characteristic shape and confident expression. Broad well angulated shoulders with a true, sound front and forequarters with a prominent fore-chest. Firm in body and top line complemented by his correct underline. Strong, well angulated, full hindquarters with stable parallel width. Moved with a free flowing, true sound confident gait. My Dog CC winner. 2 Armstrong, Ch Lauralee Nicholas Nickleby a quality 3 and a half year old tri male who has a refined expression, attractive head set on a good length neck flowing to a well-made, firm mature body which has spring and is ribbed well back; tight in elbows and having excellent fore-chest, firm and level in top-line. He is eye-catching in profile and head carriage both standing and when moving free and purposeful around the ring. Just preferred the clean lines, neck and well defined profile of 1st. VB (1) 1 Higgins, Ch Leveliss What She Said a very smart 8-year-old tri who is pleasing in shape, proportions and overall side profile picture. Feminine and breed typical in head and expression, good length neck, well made in body having spring, enough length of ribbing and broad firm loin; tight in elbows. Moved well, free and with purpose. 

PB (3,1) 1 McNaughton, Cedavoch Rainstorm an impressive 11-month-old quality youngster who has all the necessary basics for development into a top adult. She is well grown and has desirable bone growth with the added benefit of essential breed characteristics. Lovely head both in shape, proportions and expression; clean good length neck set on to a well-constructed front and forequarters which I preferred to 2nd. Sound good parallel width hindquarters. Best mover of the class and edged her to Best Puppy in Breed and later pleased to see she was awarded Hound Puppy group 4. 2 Heels, Rijobeau Ravishing Rita another 11 month old well grown young bitch who is of heavier make up than 1st. Attractive head and expression, well constructed and good width in front. Overall of pleasing length with plenty of body weight all through which masked the definition of ribs and loin. Moved in a typical puppy style and with maturity needing to be more controlled.

 JB (4,1) 1 MacDonald, Bensarka I Like Twucks a 15 month old super smart young bitch who is well constructed all through. Very attractive head and expression; head set well onto good length clean neck. Stands well showing off her pleasing construction, proportions and balance. Well covered detracting from her structural outline. Best mover of this class. 2 Armstrong, Lauralee To The Manor Born a very shapely 13 month old who has an attractive refined head and expression. Pleasing construction in front and fore-chest with the necessary angles front and rear. She has depth, spring and good length of ribbing although at a stage in development where she tended to lose her top line. Free movement in side gait but not as settled in front as 1st. 3 Norton, Matzell Myrtle.

 LB (3) 1 Wand, Wanderhund Moon Dragon an eye-catching 3 year old red having well defined clean lines. Excels in breed and conformation qualities being attractive in head shape and appealing in expression which I preferred to 2nd. She is well made all through particularly in front and forequarters. So well balance in angulations front and rear and presenting a very satisfying side profile with a good height to length ratio and enough ground clearance to allow her to be an easy mover. Moves well with a free, precise action in front. In the Bitch Challenge the CC winner edged it on side and rear movement. My Bitch Reserve CC winner. 2 Armstrong, Lauralee Girl Crush an attractive rising 2 year old well made bitch who has a strong good length head. Sound forequarters with a true front and plenty of fore chest with desirable tight elbows. Pleasing in overall body with good length and firm top line and ok angles behind. Moved with purpose but needing to settle to give of her best. 3 Hunt, Lauralee Miss Marple At Carpaccio JW Sh.CM. 

OB (7,1) 1 Williams and Moes, Cwmdarhian Hot Off The Press a super quality nearly 2 year old red that excels in breed type and has classic lines which she combines with sound conformation. She is in impressive condition in coat and fitness. Attractive feminine head which could maybe have more length; long, clean neck set on broads well laid shoulders and flowing to a firm body, with strong level top line. She has soundness in front and rear angulations with ideal width in front and full broad hindquarters. She portrays an elegant sound and balanced picture both standing and moving. My Bitch CC and BOB winner. 2 Armstrong, Lauralee Alexandrova a mature 5 year old of impressive quality; heavier build than 1st all through. She has a very attractive head shape and expression, full of breed qualities. She is soundly constructed and is particularly well made in front and forequarters. Ideal balance in angulations front and rear and good height to length ratio. She tended to lose her top line when standing but came alive on the move. An easy mover with a free, purposeful action particularly in rear action which I preferred to 3rd. 3 Wand, Wanderhund Scarlet Witch.
