Thankyou to the SKC for my first appointment awarding
CC's, and with only one absentee from the 37 entries. I would like to also
thank the exhibitors for their sportsmanship in accepting my placings. I
really enjoyed the day, and seeing my BOB go on to win the Group made it all
that more special.
PD (4) 1 McNaughton's Cedavoch Tropical Storm. Shaded
red with lots to like, well shaped head and dark eye, not exaggerated in any
way and balanced thoughout, well laid shoulder and length of upper arm,
defined pro-sternum, well developed rear assembly which provided plenty of
drive action and ground coverage, Showing plenty of promise for the future.
2 Higgins' Meganhol Black Musketof Leveliss. B/t, also showing plenty of
promise, I'm sure though these will alter placings from show to show. This
youngster was not as mature as first, however, did give a balanced picture
on stacking and whilst moving, lovely head with alert expression, well
sprung rib and of good length, well muscled and another to watch in the
future. 3 Patterson's Phaeland Second Delivery To Ambiesque.
PGD (1) 1 Clark & Hastie's Sirius Rising. Although this
dog was on his own he was still worthy, b/t with conical head and dark eye,
well arched neck into well placed shoulder, a well constructed lad, slightly
short in loin, moved true in front, just needs a little more confidence on
the table.
LD (5) This class was varied in type so any could be
placed differently another day. 1 McNaughton's Caper A G Von Nordor (Imp).
Shaded red, conical head with dark eye, good reach of neck into well laid
shoulder, pro-sternum not overdone, strong topline, well sprung rib of good
length, strong angulated quarters, moved with verve covering the ground with
ease and showing good extension, true fore and aft. 2 Bethel & Gaskin's
Sobahli Sham President To Hampdach. Another quality dog with a clean outline
stacked and on the move, conical hound head and dark eye, correct height to
length ratio, strong front assembly and well sprung rib, well angulated and
muscled rear which provided plenty of drive. Just preferred the head of
first. 3 Maskell's Miss Clentry Monster Mash At Brownbank ShCM.
OD (3, 1) 1 Williams & Moes' Cwmdarhian San Andreas.
Dog CC & BOB. Red dog which was a delight to go over, well constructed
throughout and of correct size, with a strong masculine head with dark eye
and good expression, well arch neck leading to good shoulder placement,
correct height to length ratio, clean in profile and on move, strong topline
and underline, good length of loin. Hammy quarters providing a strong
positive movement with good extension and ground coverage, true fore and
aft. And went on to take the group, congratulations. 2 Bethel & Gaskin's
Hampdach Simply Red. Res CC. Another quality dog with similar qualities,
well balanced throughout and no exaggerations, hound head set on well arched
neck leading into good shoulder placement, strong feet and clean leg, good
spring of rib with sufficient length, well muscled hindquarters providing
plenty of drive and effortless motion.
PB (7) This class was an assortment of type and size,
with some very raw babies. 1 Tite's Phaeland Sweet Dancer. Res CC and BPIB.
Shaded red girl with maturity and balance throughout, sweet expression well
set ear, clean neck into well laid front, lovely to go over not overdone in
any form, well arched neck and well placed shoulder, clean front assembly,
and good length of ribbing, well rounded quarters and excellent angulation.
Im sure she has a bright future. 2 Cunningham's Clentry Ruby Tuesday For
Celandine. Quality, lovely profile, good reach of neck, pleasing expression,
clean lines throughout, good height to length ratio, moved with plenty of
drive and both true fore and aft. 3 McNaughton's Cedavoch Rainstorm.
JB (4) 1 Tite's Rijobeau Caught On Camera.
She was really enjoying herself, a clear red with the
darkest of eyes and a well arched neck and a lovely flow from the conical
head into well arched neck, predominate pro-sternum and tight elbow
presented in good condition moved out with plenty of drive from well muscled
rear, true both fore and aft. 2 Andison Peel's Clentry Kiki Dee. Another
quality bitch, with clear cut outline, well assembled with good depth of
brisket, and tight elbow, ribbing of good length, Hammy quarters and
providing plenty of drive. I liked different things about these two and
another day Im sure they will change places. 3 Stringfellow's Oxendachs
Amethyst At Silvatica.
PGB (2) 1 Lucas' Cwmdarhian Summer Nights. Red girl
with feminine head, dark eye well set ear carriage, free flowing neck into
well placed shoulder, strong in bone but not overdone, well ribbed and clean
top and underline, sound rear movement. 2 Playfair's Demorgan Secret. This
youngster was full on and enjoying her day, sweet expression and dark eye,
well set ears, a good reach of neck arch and clean shoulder, strong firm
topline and adequate bone.
LB (4) 1 Paterson & Paterson's Phaeland Sent Direct To
Ambiesque. Clear red with strong feminine head, dark eye, balanced
throughout, moving with drive and verve from well developed rear, providing
plenty of drive. 2 Burke & Manston's Bonavoir Nulli Secunda. Very close
these two different in type, b/t with strong head, well arched neck and good
shoulder, well sprung rib of adequate length, playing up a little. 3 Chance
& Dodd's Phaeland Strawberry Dakari (Irish Ch).
OB (4) 1 Cunningham's Ir Ch Songtag Say The Word For
Celadine. BCC. Caught my eye on entering the ring and does not disappoint. A
rich red, with a feminine head conical shape, dark almond shape eye,
handler got the best from her at all times, well sprung rib of good length,
defined height to length ratio, moved with plenty of drive and verve
covering the ground with ease, true both fore and aft. 2 Higgin's Leveliss
Hong Kong Garden. Slightly more refined than first, good head carriage, good
reach of neck into well placed shoulder, well developed pro-sternum without
being overdone, well ribbed and of good length, clean topline and
underline, just lacked verve on the move. 3 Williams & Moes' Cwmdarhian Hot
Off The Press.
VB (3) A quality class. 1 Higgins' Ch Leveliss What She
Said. A classy bitch just starting to grey up, femininity in abundance,
elegant in profile and stacked, head flowing into well arched neck, into
good shoulder placement, correct keel without exaggeration, and covering
the ground with ease and plenty of drive from well developed rear. 2
Turner's Marictur Maulin Rouge. Another classy bitch, close between these
three, good reach of neck into well laid shoulder, well sprung ribbing of
good length, and hammy quarters providing plenty of drive, just not the
verve of one. 3 Gatheral-Graham's Rijobeau League Of Honour.
