PD (3) 1 Williams & Moes' Cwmdarhian Tom Hardy. Very promising red boy, would prefer a better balance to his head, long neck, good layback of shoulder, good prosternum, good ribbing and bone, well angulated hindquarters which he uses well on the move. BP. 2 Jones & Jones' Adnerbs Rock-a-billy Rebel. Very raw puppy but has promise, beautiful head and eye, good neck, good forechest, fair shoulder, good ribbing, balanced quarters, tail a little high set. 3 Smith & Connor's Conchur Silver Sword.
JD (2) 1 Paget & Carroll's Lauralee Oscar Wild At Marvale. B/t dog of quality, beautiful head, neck and shoulder placement, excellent bone and feet, ribbing carried well back, short loin, good balance to his quarters, moved very well with good reach and drive, pressed really hard for Res CC. 2 Hunt's Lauralee Huckleberry Finn At Carpaccio. Red, litter mate to the winner, has a good head and eye, neck, shoulders, ribbing good, he is also a balanced dog but just lacks the return of upper arm of his brother and so moved close in front.
PGD (2) 1 Seago & Gibbard's Amlikda Aston. Good head and dark eye, good neck, shoulders could be better laid back, good prosternum and length to ribbing, good length to first and second thigh, hock could be a touch shorter, moved out smartly. 2 Hughes' Matzell Matamua At Ivcar. Good head, rather upright in shoulder, excellent bone, ribbing carried well back, excellent balance to quarters.
LD (8, 1) Disappointing class. 1 Balazs-Hirt's Colocensis Rex Mister At Gravelous (Imp). Red boy who moved out well with correct reach and drive. He had a fair head, decent neck, good bone and feet and was balanced in angulation fore and aft, tail rather high set. 2 Payton's Minalsa Mulberry Of Marajo. Bit plain in head, rather full in eye, good neck, would prefer better layback in shoulder, excellent forechest and ribbing, good balance to hind angulation, sound. 3 Goffin-Thorogood's Matzell Malizani.
OD (7) 1 Chauhan's Wanderhund Viva Las Vegas. New one to me and what a quality dog. Beautiful head, dark almond eye, good neck set into well placed shoulder, good bone and feet, good ribbing and correctly angulated quarters with short rear pasterns, moved with correct reach and drive keeping an excellent outline. CC and BOB. 2 Armstrong's Ch Lauralee Nicholas Nickleby. Very well known dog I have judged before as a puppy I believe, totally deserves all the winning he has done, just unlucky to meet the winner today who I loved. Res CC. 3 Williams & Moes' Cwmdarhian San Andreas.
VD (2) Two handsome dogs of totally different types. 1 Macdonald's Multi Ch Bensarka Phoenix Sun. Well balanced dog with a lovely head and eye, good neck and shoulder, good ribbing and good quarters, sound. BVIB. 2 Hunt's Ch Cwmdarhian Hogan's Hero At Carpaccio JW. Handsome head, neck and long neck, well placed shoulder, good bone and ribbing, quarters ok, moved well. PB (3) 1 Balazs-Hirt's Gravelous Rogue One. Promising pup with a good head, neck and shoulder, fair return of upper arm, front good, bone and ribbing, balanced quarters, moved very soundly. 2 Nicholson's Betsymira Witchcraft. Taller type of puppy who was slightly more upright in shoulder and a little narrow moving towards me, balanced hindquarters. 3 Haggerty's Smooth Performance.
JB (1) 1 Hunt's Carpaccio Silent Siren. Good head and eye shape and colour, carrying too much weight which rather spoils her shoulder, excellent forechest, bone and ribbing, balanced angulation in hindquarters, moved true fore and aft with good reach and drive.
PGB (4, 1) 1 Hone's Oxondachs After Eight. Plain head but otherwise basically the best overall Dachshund shape in the class, fair shoulders and quarters, balanced, good ribbing, moved soundly both ways and kept her outline. 2 Valentine's Tiffwazz Robin. 3 Vaitekunaite's Princesse Parfaite Van De Hereheide. LB (6) 1 Armstrong's Lauralee To The Manor Born. Good head and eye, excellent front with good length of upper arm, excellent bone, feet, ribbing, well angulated rear, moved true fore and aft and in profile had good extension, pressed hard for CC. 2 Lockett-Walters & McDermot's Ralines For Pete's Sake. Very typy bitch of quality, good head and eye shape and colour, good neck, well laid shoulder, good forechest and ribbing, would prefer slightly better balance to rear angulation for perfection. 3 Kerry's Kireton Daisy Belle. OB (4) 1 Williams & Moes' Ir Ch Cwmdarhian Look Whos Talkin. Red bitch who has a good head, long neck, good lay of shoulder, good forechest and ribbing, super balance to her quarters, moves true out and back and keeps a good outline, very close with limit winner for CC, just preferred her size and femininity. 2 McNaughton's Cedavoch Rainstorm. Beautiful head and eye, good neck and shoulder, would prefer more return of upper arm, good forechest, bone, ribbing, excellent balance to quarters, moves out well. 3 Armstrong's Lauralee Girl Crush.
VB (2) 1 Turner's Marictur Moulin Rouge. Lovely head, dark eye, good neck and shoulder, ribs carried well back, good quarters, nice size, moved soundly. 2 Tomlinson's Bensarka Golden Garter. Another good one, just preferred the winners length to upper arm, otherwise both had similar attributes.
