Dachshund (Smooth Haired)

Many thanks to the exhibitors from all four varities for such a super and quality entry a special thanks to the Wire and Mini Wire exhibitors for patience and staying to the end.

            I would like to make a few points in some of the Smooths and Mini Smooths I found that some exhibits where not toned up in front meaning either side of the pro sternum it was in some cases very soft giving the look of overloaded fronts. Feet also need to be watch in all the four varieties there was some soft weak pasterns which gave the impression of them waving at me. Also rear movement in some was not good in one the whole of the rear end went in a circle while the feet moved correctly.

            Lastly when you sit at the side of the ring while judging is in progress please make sure that your dogs are under control and not to allow them to make the noise that a lot did that day especially when a large amount make a noise as it can frighten promising youngster and even experience exhibits.

1^st Woods Morailsas Wizards Spell Black and Tan Good head and reach of neck well placed shoulders, correct length of ribbing with well made strong quarters sound movement and covered the ground.

Limit Dog

1^st Tite's Phaeland Secret Delivery To Rijobeau NAF TAF Quality male with a lovely head and expression, correct reach of neck with good shoulders and upper arm, well ribbed of good length well made quarters moved out and soundly RBD.

1^st Dr Chauhan Manish Wanderhund Viva Las Vegas Correct head and masculine without courseness, Strong reach of neck leading into correct lay back of shoulders with good angle of upper arm, correct length of ribbing with strong well made hindquarters strong short hocks that he used to his advantage moving soundly and coverting the ground BD

Veteran Dog

1^st Starkey's Ch Carpaccion Jasper From Hamoura SH.CM 7 years old and certainly doesnt look or move like it. Good head and expression correct mouth well placed shoulders and good ribbing he has strong quarters and moves soundly.

Puppy Bitch

 1^st Dr Chauhan Manish Adnerbs Take A Chance On Me Well I just loved this young lady full or character and personality which I love and as I said to the handler shout at her again and you will be in trouble she is a baby. Lovely feminine head with correct eye and mouth lovely reach of neck blending into a corrett front assembly then the body lovely length of ribbing and plenty of heart room, hindquarters are well made with strong short hocks and when she moves she comes into her own and flows round the ring BPIB and congratulations on PG2 well deserved.

 2^nd Steel & Aitken's Demorgan Princess Margaret This is another very promising young lady who is very raw at the moment but has it all there. Lovely feminine head and correct mouth good reach of neck and good lay of shoulder. Correct body and length of ribbins with hindquarters to balance her out and moved soundly and covered the ground.

 1^st Wand's Wanderhund All Wrapped Up Quality bitch with a lovely head and mouth another with that lovely reach of neck good lay of shoulder with good angle of upper arm, good ribbing with a nice body, hindquarters are well muscled with strong hocks and moved soundly covering the ground. RBB

 2^nd Balazs-Hirt's Gravelous Forget Me Not Dark Brindle bitch which on first look can be deceiving, lovley head and neck correct shoulders well ribbed quarters are well muscled and moves soundly just a little unsettled today.

 Post Graduate Bitch

 1^st Wood's Morailsea Secret Note Very feminine bitch, good reach of neck and shoulders. Good length of ribbing and well made quarters with sound movement and moved round the ring.

 Limit Bitch

 1^st Wands Wanderhund Phoenix Sky Another quality bitch from this kennel, lovely feminine head, correct reach of neck and well placed shoulders good ribbing and length well made quarters and moves soundly and with drive.

 2^nd  Steel & Aitken's Morailsea Secret Romance For Demorgan Lovely head and expression, reach of neck is good with well placed shoulders would like a better length of upper arm but she is in balance with her hindquarters moved soundly.

 1^st Lockett Walters & McDermott's Ralines For Pete's Sake How does one start with this bitch she is very hard to fault in my opinion. A gorgeous feminine head and expression lovely reach of neck that meets a correct shoulder placement and angle of upper arm lovely tight elbows with correct ribbing then the hindquarters these match the front assembly with good angles leading onto strong short hocks that she used to move over the ground and sound in both directions. Very pleased to award her BB and BOB

 2^nd McNaughton's Ch Cedavoch Rainstorm who I placed well as a puppy, quality bitch that demands attention, lovely head and expression with correct shoulders and angle of upper arm the ribbing is of good length. Hindquarters are well made and muscled with correct angles moves soundly today I felt for me was a little heavy in front.
