Many thanks to the Committee of Blackpool and District Canine Society for inviting me to judge at my first championship show, albeit without challenge certificates on offer. I felt that the entry for my variety was numerically good and had plenty of quality.

JD (4, 1) 1 Paget & Carroll’s Marvale Seal The Deal. A striking Black and Tan, I really like how balanced he is, good length of neck, super front construction with very pleasing top and underlines, moved true and very elegant on the go round, happy to award RBD, BPIB. 2 Hunt’s Pelirroja Joined Forces With Carpaccio. Shaded red who was a little unsettled today, I liked his overall front construction with the correct depth of chest but preferred rear movement of first. 3 Vaitekunaite’s Milendo Justin Thyme.

OD (2, 1) 1 Hunt’s Ch Lauralee Huckleberry Finn At Carpaccio JW. Lovely shaded red, typical head with good length of neck, well ribbed with a short loin, good lines and nicely angulated quarters, really looked a picture in profile and moved true up and back with plenty of drive. Pleased to award BD, BOB.

JB (3) 1 O’Brien’s Almaznyi Laretz Europe II At Delekadax. Very feminine Black and Tan with a pleasing overall shape, tight elbows, clean lines, moved true. RBB. 2 Vaitekinaite’s Hunter’s Parade Imperial Queen. Chocolate & Tan, higher in frame than first, would prefer a longer length of rib, moved ok in front but I would like more width behind. 3 Vaitekunaite’s Milendo Jessica Rabbit.

YB (1) 1 Vaitekunaite’s Milendo Mila. Shaded red who was also unsettled today, higher in frame, good lay of shoulder into a neat front, would prefer a more gradual underline, moved true.

PGB (2, 1) 1 Vaitekunaite’s Milendo Three Cheers. Black & Tan, good head and expression, good depth of

ody, I would prefer more angulated quarters, held topline on the move but lacked drive. VB (1) 1 Borrelli’s Carpaccio Black Pearl. A balanced Black & Tan of typical type, correctly angled quarters, good length and spring of rib moved true. Pleased to award BB, BV.
