My sincere thanks to the officers and committee of the MDC for inviting me to judge and to my two great stewards for keeping everything together. To all those exhibitors who entered, coped with the very hot weather, and accepted my placings with good grace, I thank you too. 

V.D.(1) 1^st Linacre’s Rosenket Rigoletto. At nine years of age this gentleman of a dog was finding the heat a little much. However, his construction was sound, and he moved well. Black & tan with greying muzzle, balanced head and good eye, solid front construction, maintained his topline on the move. Nicely proportioned.

P.D.(2) 1^st Hunt’s Pelirroja Joined Forces With Carpaccio. Lovely red nine month old. Good head and eye into good length of neck. Good front construction with excellent shoulder placement, well ribbed and solid topline and drove out well from the rear. Lovely balanced movement. Pleased to award BPIB. 2^nd Hinwood’s Adnerbs Sheer Nanagins. Black & Tan also nine months. Not quite the balance or construction of my 1^st. Good head and eye, elegant neck would prefer slightly more return of upper arm and ribbing. Coat in lovely condition. Good rear movement.

J.D.(4.2) 1^st Chauhan’s Raajput’s Blacky Returns. Sixteen month Black & Tan with good head and eye. Good length of neck into sound front construction. Good return of upper arm. Good rear construction enabling him to move out well from front and rear. In the challenge, just preferred the proportions of my B.D. but pleased to award R.B.D. 2^nd Andison & Peel’s The Hinks Dream Twizzlers (IMP ESP) Lovely seventeen month red boy who was unfortunately very unsettled today. Good head and eye, strong neck into good front construction, good ribbing and sound rear construction. Well proportioned, nothing to dislike.

N.D.(1) 1^st Hunt’s Pelirroja Joined Forces With Carpaccio.

P.G.D.(2) 1^st Heel’s Daxanory Menacing Dennis. Loved the overall picture of this red two year old. Good head and eye with good length of neck into excellent front construction with well-placed shoulders and correspondingly good return of upper arm giving excellent forward reach. Strong loin and rear construction matching front angulation which enabled this dog to stride out well from the front and rear. Pleased to award B.D. 2^nd Swanson’s Cotherstone Cosmic Claude via Altimarlach. Nicely proportioned two year old Back & Tan. Not quite the construction of my 1^st although moved well and maintained a level topline on the move.

L.D.(2) 1^st Goffin-Thorogood’s Matzell Malizani. Red two year old with lovely head and eye, good front construction and corresponding rear angulation. Maybe the heat was affecting both exhibits in this class as neither moved out well today.  2^nd Lucas’s Tramardachs Dunkirk Dustup. Three year old red dog with balanced head and eye. Good length of neck and reasonably constructed throughout, although preferred the rear construction of my 1^st.

O.D.(4.2) 1^st Hunt’s CH Lauralee Huckleberry Finn at Carpaccio. JW. Have been over this dog before. Lovely red four year old, lovely head and eye, sound front and rear construction and balanced movement. Strode out well. 2^nd Andison & Peel’s Clentry Tainted Love. Two year old red boy with appealing head and eye, elegant neck, good shoulder placement and return of upper arm. Sound construction with good rear movement but unsettled today.

V.B.(1) 1^st Norton’s CH Matzell Minella. This lovely seven year old red still looking good and moving well, even in the heat today. Good head and eye, good length of neck into great front construction. Rear construction balancing front and maintained her topline. Strode out well. Please to award BV.

M.P.B.(2) 1^st Andison & Peel’s Clentry All Ways Russian. Eight month red brindle who needs to settle. Lovely head and eye. Good front construction with good ribbing. Moved out well. 2^nd Wand’s Wanderhund’s All In A Muggle. Eight month black and tan, Lovely coat. Reasonably sound construction throughout but preferred the angulation of my 1^st.

P.B.(2) 1^st Melbourne’s Marvale Double Dealing With Melriding. Lovely nine month Black & Tan with good head and eye, length of neck into sound front and rear construction. Moved out well. 2^nd Lucas’s Tramardachs The Big Bang. Eleven month red with pleasing head and eye into good front construction but preferred the rear construction of my 1^st.

J.B.(2.1) 1^st Chauhan’s Adnerbs Forever Charmed at Raajput. Sixteen month Red with lovely head and eye. Good front and rear construction and balanced movement. Strode out well.

N.B. (2) 1^st Goffin-Thorogood’s Matzell Mazari. Two year old red with good head and eye with good front construction, maintained a level topine, but would prefer slightly more rear drive.  2^nd Heel’s Daxanory Ravishing Meg. Two year old red with good head and eye, pronounced prosternum, low keel and good ribbing but not the rear movement of my 1^st.

P.G.B.(6) 1^st Stark’s Adnerbs Won Vision of Gobannium. Judged this red two year old as a puppy and she has matured beautifully. Lovely head and eye into good neck and excellent front and rear construction. Good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Good ribbing and strong loin. Strides out with free movement, balanced and graceful. Just had the edge over my B.D. Very pleased to award BB & BOB. 2^nd Norton’s Matzell Martinella. Another lovely red two year old. Excellent head and eye. Slightly sturdier all through than my first but sound front and rear construction and moved out well.

L.B.(2) 1^st Chapman-Reith’s Wanderhund let’s Celebrate. Judged this bitch before and she has matured nicely. Lovely Black & Tan three year old. Good head and eye, length of neck into good shoulder placement. Maintained her topline and strode out with good balanced movement. 2^nd Tomlinson’s Bensarka Emerald Isle to Melisdax. Red two year old with reasonable construction but not the angulation and drive of my 1^st. Maintained her topline on the move.

O.B.(2.1) 1^st Chauhan’s Adnerbs Take A Chance on Me at Raajput. Lovely black and tan mature two year old. Well presented with good head and eye into good length of neck and excellent front assembly. She moved out well from the front and rear due to her good construction throughout. Pleased to award RBB. 2^nd Andison & Peel’s Clentry Tooty Fruity. Lovely red brindle three year old. Good head and eye. Well-constructed throughout but not quite the rear drive and balance of movement of my 1^st.
