I would like to thank ful to Lancashire & Cheshire Dachshund Club for inviting me to judge the standard smooth Haired Dachshunds and for the sporting exhibitors who curved out in such dreadful weather conditions to give me a fabulous entry both in quality and quantity. The show ran like clockwork and there was a great atmosphere.

 

Veteran Dog or Bitch

1st: BORRELLI’s Carpaccio Black Pearl B/t in beautiful glossy coat and condition at this age. Attractive head, eyes are expressive, good, curved neck, so well ribbed, robust backline, and well angulated and muscled hindquarters. Has reserved a brisk action. Reserve best bitch.

Puppy Dog 

1st: VAITEKUNAITE Milendo Justin Thyme, catch my eyes when entered in the ring, beautiful specimen. Strong head with lots of expression, very well-balanced dog. Head, neck and shoulder placement perfectly developed what required for standard. Lovely long ribcage and muscular, strong every well angulated hind, moved very well, required more ringcraft for better career.
2nd: HUNT Pelirroja Joined Forces with Carpaccio 12 month Shaded red, a lovely type, strong head with a good length of neck, good shoulders with tight elbows and moved well. I hope settled well on the table with more practice.

1st : SWANSON Cotherstone Cosmic Claude Via Altimarlach.  Manly head, a little throaty, but overall good dog. Deep enough in keel, strong well-muscled hindquarters, moved soundly, top line could have been better.

1st: MCNAUGHTON Cedavoch Finwe Very well build excellent pup with plenty of potential, strongly build with ample full muscles, head,neck and top line perfect what required for the breed. Good ribcage with strong loin supported by nicely angulated hind helping well to give hind thrust, shoulder placement could have been better. Best dog

Beautiful black and tan girl real feminine characters, beautiful almond shaped eyes with plenty of expressions, perfect height and length body ratio. Excellent shoulder placement and long ribcage, moved really well hind angulation could have been better best puppy

2nd: VAITEKUNAITE Milendo Jessica Rabbit.

Lovely red pup with plenty of potential, perfect feminine head and very well angulated front and hind assembly, moving well top line could have been better.

 

Junior Bitch 
1st: VAITEKUNAITE Hunter's Parade Imperial Queen lovely feminine chocolate female, lovely head and neck, bit leggy and unsettled top line, very well handled,

 

Post Graduate Bitch 
1st: VAITEKUNAITE Milendo Three Cheers another lovely female with perfect feminine head and length of neck, good length of ribcage perfect shoulder placement and deep chest. Perfect height and length of ratio.


 

Open Bitch 1st:  BORRELLI’s Philabar the Original Ultra feminine in head and expression, this quality bitch scores in reach of neck, layback in shoulder, a good spring of ribs which Her upper body part shows and she can move out so soundly and purposefully. I think here handler is fairly confident and just hope she can be continue showing this nice bitch. Happy to give her best of breed.
