P D/B 1ST; Marsh & Jones Marshwick Hope and Glory. 7 month old chocolate with good pigment for her colour. She is of a nice overall make and shape when she relaxes and forgets herself, an aristocratic head with an excellent bite and good leathers sits on a well shaped neck of a decent length. Good shoulders and a sufficient keel for her age. However, her topline does need to settle as it is a touch too curvy at present. Well angled through her hind end with broad strong hocks and a good tail set. She strode out well and soundly.
J D/B 1ST; Moes & Williams’ Cwmdarhian Super Mario. Well my notes start off with the words “Simply stunning” 11month old Red male who is everything I was looking for, aristocratic and dignified, flowing from tip to tail. A masculine head with strength but in no way course, excellent eye, bite and leathers is set onto a well shaped neck of good length. His front, for me, is a lesson of what we should be looking for, well laid shoulders, perfect return of Upper arm and a well filled front with super keel. Front legs straight as a die and elbows tucked well to the rib. A strong topline leads to a great tail set and well angled hind end, which he used on the move striding out with ease and purpose. Yes, He has one minor fault but an Easy BP, BD & B O B.
2ND; Jennings’ Clentry Sweet Melody. Such a shame for this red beauty that the class wasn’t split onto sexes as she is a super bitch who was very unlucky to meet 1. So many of the superlatives for him are equally applicable here. An elegant and stylish head with beautiful dark eye, good length of leather and excellent bite with large teeth. A long well shaped neck is set into a super front assembly, straight front leg, good keel and her elbows are held tightly to the rib. Her strong topline leads to a correct tail set and on to a well made hind end with width and strength through the hocks. Strode round the ring with purpose and style. Easy BB & B O S.
3RD; Starks Adnerbs Not on your Nelly Gobannium.
Y D/B 1ST; Ryecrofts Skyewalker Blue. A strong B & T with an aristocratic head, nice dark eye, sufficient leathers and A good bite with large teeth. A well shaped neck is set into a decent shoulder, but for me his return of upper arm could be slightly better, well filled in front with a decent keel. His topline is a bit roached at present which spoils his otherwise nice outline. Well angled through the hind end, with broad hocks and good muscle tone. Strode out well around the ring.
O D 1ST; Small’s Imp Almaznyi Loretz Ershalaim at Devondax. A substantial 21 month old B & T with an elegant head with good overall planes, dark almond shaped eye, good leathers and an excellent bite. His long strong neck is set into a good shoulder, return of Upper arm and has sufficient keel. A strong topline and good tail set lead to a well muscled rear with broad strong hocks. Moved soundly in all respects. Res BD
OB 1ST; Stark’s Adnerbs won vision of Gobannium jw. A mature 3yo red presented in good order, an attractive head with good planes, excellent teeth and ear leathers is set onto a well shaped neck of sufficient length. Well laid shoulder, and sufficient return of Upper arm with good keel and elbows held tight to the body. Her Level strong topline and correct tailset lead to a well angled and well muscled rear. Moved out well and with style. Res BB.
2ND; Small’s Ulybka fortuny Zlatovlaska at Devondax. A 17 month old red giving a lot away in maturity to 1. Lovely refined head with an excellent bite, ear leathers and an aristocratic expression. A long well shaped neck is set into a good front assembly with straight front legs and a decent keel. She just needs to broaden up all through. Strong level topline with correct tail set leads to a wide well muscled rear with strong hocks. She moved round well and with style.
