Thank you to the society for their invitation to judge, and the exhibitors for their entry. I found that the variety overall had a lot of quality and I thoroughly enjoyed the day.

PD (1) 1st, Chauhan’s, Neithund Angus at Raajput. 9 month, red dog. Strong, masculine head, with lovely expression. Good length of neck, leading into well laid shoulders. Correct front angulation, and good amount of ribbing. Sound movement with good reach and drive, coming from a strong, well angulated rear. Level topline which he held on the move. A bit of a happy tail today but that will drop with age. Loved him and will follow his career with interest. BPD & BP.
JD(2)1st, Hunt’s, Carpaccio Red Knight. 12 month, red dog. Lovely head with pleasing expression, set on top of a strong neck. Correct front angulation, with well laid shoulders, and a good amount of ribbing. Level topline held on the move, well angulated rear. Sound on the move with plenty of drive. Pushed hard for BD but didn’t quite have the reach the open winner had. RBD.
2nd, Jenning’s, Marvale Manifesto at Jenivon. 12 month, B/T dog. Correct, masculine head with pleasing expression. A little long in neck, and slightly upright in shoulder, but had a good amount of ribbing, and level topline. Well angulated rear, giving him good drive and sound movement.
PGD (2) 1st, Graham’s, Marvale Chancellor at Ravold. 12 month, B/T dog. Masculine head with pleasing expression. Good front, with a decent amount of ribbing. Level topline, held on the move, correct rear angulation and good drive. A little narrow on the move, coming towards.
2nd, Coupland’s, Retrohound Hermes. 15 month, B/T dog. Not the head of first, but good length of neck. Correct front with good ribbing. Good reach and sound front movement but a little narrow behind.
LD (5) This was a hard class, different types but all had good attributes. 1st, Jennings’, Marvale The Opposition. 12 month, B/T dog. Strong, masculine head, good length of neck, leading into well laid shoulders. Correct front angulation, good amount of ribbing. Level topline held on the move. Correct rear angulation giving good drive from the rear. Moved soundly with good reach. I’m told he is litter brother to 1st in PGD. Very different types, both however were correct and sound in their movement.
2nd, Hinwood’s, Adnerb Sheer Nanagins at Longmel. 2 ½ year, B/T dog. Correct head, with pleasing expression. Correct front angulation and decent amount of ribbing. Level topline, held on the move. His movement was sound but didn’t couldn’t match the drive of the winner.
OD (1) 1st, Jones’, Cwmdarhian Gordon Ramsay. 1 ½ year, red dog. Lovely, masculine head, with pleasing expression. Good strong neck, leading into well laid shoulders. Correct front angulation, with very good amount of ribbing. Level topline, which he held on the move. Good rear angulation giving him very good drive. Movement was sound with plenty of reach, which won him Best Dog. Pushed hard for BOB but just preferred the bitch’s overall balance. BD & BOS.
VD/B (1) 1st, Starkey’s, Ch Carpaccio Jasper from Hamoura ShCM VW. Almost 12 year, B/T dog. Handsome head, with lovely expression. Correct front angulation, with good ribbing. Level topline and good rear angulation. Belied his years on the move, where he moved soundly and held his topline. I love seeing veterans being shown, especially when they’re in the condition that this boy is. An absolute credit to his owner. BV.
MPB (2) 1st, Mills-Jones & Moes & Williams’, Cwmdarhian Welsh Secret. 6 month, red bitch. Just a baby, very pretty head & expression, good length of neck, well laid shoulders. Good amount of ribbing, well angulated rear. A bit weak in topline but this should strengthen with age. Sound movement with plenty of drive. BPB.
2nd, Cox’s, Bulldaxit Sooner Or Later. 7 month, B/T bitch. Pretty, feminine head, with kind expression. Correct front angulation, decent amount of ribbing, level topline that she held on the move. Slightly over angulated rear, not giving her the drive of 1st Sound rear movement but a bit wide in front.
PB (1) 1st, Wilkinson & Wakeham’s, Raajput Canadian Winter with Wakywilks. 11 month, B/T bitch. Feminine head with lovely expression. Correct front and well laid shoulders. Would prefer more ribbing. Level topline which she held on the move. Well angulated rear, moved soundly but not quite the drive of the MPB winner.
JB (2,1) 1st, Gentle & Young’s, Craimose Freesia. 15 month, B/T bitch. Pretty head, with kind expression. Good length of neck, correct front and good ribbing. Level topline, held on the move, leading into well angulated rear. Moved soundly with good drive.
PGB (3,1) 1st, Hinwood’s, Longmel Cococabana. 2 year, B/T bitch. Pretty head, good front with well laid shoulders and plenty of ribbing. Level topline leading into correct rear angulation. A little unsettled but presented a pleasing outline when she did. Moved soundly with good reach and drive.
2nd, Stark’s, Adnerbs Not On Your Nellie Gobannium JW. 2 year, red bitch. Different type to 1st, stronger in head but had a pleasing expression. Correct front angulation, well laid shoulders, would prefer more ribbing. Level topline, held on the move. Good rear angulation. Moved soundly and with drive.
LB (5,2) 1st, Jennings’, Clentry Sweet Melody. 3 year, red bitch. The most lovely of heads, set on a good length of neck, leading down into well laid shoulders. Correct front angulation with good ribbing. Level topline which she held on the move. Very good rear angulation giving her a lovely balanced outline. Moved soundly with plenty of reach and drive. The best mover of the day which won her BB & BOB. Very pleased to see she was later awarded Best in Show.
2nd, Wand’s, Wanderhund All In A Muggle. 2 year, B/T bitch. Correct head with pleasing expression. Good length of neck, slightly upright in shoulder, but good amount of ribbing. Level topline, held on the move. Good rear angulation and moved soundly but lacked drive.
OB (3,1) 1st, Chauhan’s, CH Adnerb Take A Chance On Me at Raajput. 4 year, B/T bitch. Correct, feminine head with pleasing expression. Exceptional front with well placed shoulders and good ribbing. Level topline which she held on the move. Good rear angulation giving her good drive. Moved soundly. Pushed hard for BB but just preferred the overall balance of the LB winner. RBB.
2nd, Wand’s, Wanderhund California Girl. 6 year, B/T bitch. Correct head, with lovely expression. Good front with well laid shoulders, good amount of ribbing. Level topline held on the move. Well angulated rear. Moved soundly with good drive.
