I would like to start off by thanking the Club for this opportunity and for their kind hospitality, topped off by a great luncheon home cooking. Then to the exhibitors for their support and to hear some had travelled a fair distance to attend the show, its greatly appreciated. I try to keep the breed standard in my mind when judging, starting with the opening line – ‘’ Moderately long in proportion to height, with no exaggeration. Compact, well muscled body, with enough ground clearance, not less than one quarter of height at withers, to allow free movement.’’ I found some exhibits to be rather exaggerated in various areas, whether size, wrinkling, sloping toplines or overly long.

Puppy Dog (3,1)
1 Heels – Daxanory Menacing Awesome, lovely clear red still a raw baby, love his head and dark pigment, good length of neck, good length of sternum, moving a tad close in rear.
2 Coupland’s – Rayol Charlie Brown, shaded red more mature then one, shoulder a little higher place, needs to firm in elbows, excellent rear going away.
Graduate Dog (1),
1 Coupland’s – Retrohound Hermes, black and tan, ears showing a bit of skin, upper arm could be longer, sternum a bit short, decent amount of forechest, lovely well knuckled feet, moved a little under himself.
Post Graduate Dog (2,1)
1 Andison’s – Clentry Tiger Feet, lovely headed brindle, only four incisors , good forechest and length sterum, rather upright in neck, bit wrinkling on legs, moved rather narrow, in good condition.
Limit Dog (4)
1 Graham’s - Marvale Chancellor at Ravold JW, larger black and tan , nice head, good reach of neck, nice tight feet, moved well with reach and drive.
2 Swanson, Swanson, Morton & Morgan’s – Lauralee Lannister at Cotherstone, red with nice head lips could be tighter, good amount of forechest, elbows could be cleaner, moved well.
3 Mcnaughton’s – Cedavoch Rohan.

1 Heels’s – Daxanory Menacing Dennis, already 5 years old, my preferred size for a male, lovely head and expression, good reach of neck, well knuckled feet, a bit of wrinkle, excelled on the move, delighted to give him the CC, which I heard was his 2nd, hope 3rd wont be too long off.
2 Binks’’s – Cedavoch Ocean Storm, lovely dark red, once again liked his size, with desired head qualities, upper arm could be longer, looked well on the moved although little unsettled on the stack. RCC.
3 Jennings’s – Marvale The Opposition at Jenivon.

1 Coupland’s – Rayol Charlie Brown. 2nd in puppy.
Puppy Bitch (3)
1 Roberts & Smith’s – Rayol Cherry Pancake, this young lady had a superb shoulder, front and feet, pretty head and dark eye, moved well with correct tail carriage needs to strengthen a tad in topline . Best Puppy.
2 Heels’s – Daxanory Ravishing Rose, clear red, very promising yet still rather raw, lots to like look forward to see how she develops in time.
3 Andison’s – Clentry Forget Me Not.
Junior Bitch (1)
1 Chance & Dodds’s – CairnPhael Special Return To Dotlun, loved her size, lovely to go over in all departments, would like a stronger muzzle and more bone, something to consider when breeding on, moved well in all directions.
Graduate Bitch (2)
1 Kay’s – Lochlip Some Like It Hot, dark clear red, loved her size and type, neck a bit upright of good length, sternum could be longer, nice feet, good topline on move little close going away.
2 Balfour’s – Clentry Mango Passion, better on the move then one, liked the head and good sternum length, in end just too high on leg for my taste.
Post Graduate Bitch (4)
1 Holburn – Marvale Party Politics at Glenlion, black aand tan up to size, long and elegant, good length upper arm, nice feet, good length sternum, good topline moving a bit under herself.
2 Chance & Dodds’s – Silkybeau Suchn Impression on Dotlun, Another up to size long elegant red, showing some wrinkle on legs, stood close on read, moved with reach and drive.
3 Tomlinson’s – Melisdax Memories Of May.

1 Tomlinson’s – Melisdax Magnolia In May, elegant dark red spot on for size, loved her head and expression, good reach of neck into well laid back shoulders, sternum well back and ample forecest. Moved clean in all directions. RCC.
2 Kay’s – Lochlip Skys The Limit, Lots to like about this balanced black and tan, loved her head with desired strength of muzzle, sound on the move, only lost out to one on shoulder placement.
3 Chauhan’s – Adnerb Forever Charmed at Raajput.

1 Tomlinson’s – Bensarka Emerald Isle To Melisdax, possibly not my class winner from start however one you have to go over to appreciate her virtues and quality. Found her to be well proportioned and compact. Was pleased to find a full oval thorax with ample room for heart and lungs, together with length of sternum to complete the room, ample neck , well pronounced forechest, good length upper arm into neat close elbows, moved true coming and going. To be knit picky carrying a tad too much weight on the day, quite confidently awarded her CC and BOB.
2 Chauhan’s – Ch Adnerbs Take A Chance On Me at Raajput, black and tan, elegant long and low, would prefer firmer topline and longer ribbing to accommodate her length, well angled rear a tad close going away.
3 Haney-Mitchell’s – Ch Bronia Solar Flare.
