Many thanks to the committee for this invitation to judge a variety that is very dear to me and at your 80th anniversary show , also thanks to my stewards for keeping things on track.
I was looking for what I considered good type with quality, well balanced and of correct size, confident in temperament, soundly constructed with good ground clearance and sound movement ; it is difficult to find everything and in particular difficult to judge to type as this varied considerably.
A few holistic comments I would like to mention ;
I found a couple of suspect mouths including one slightly overshot. I feel that quality bone and the desired deep closed feet were lacking in a good numerical entry like this. On the positive side I felt that size and height to length ratio has improved. I felt that the vast majority were well presented but some could improve with more muscle conditioning.
Veteran Dog (1)
1st: KERRY, Ch Kireton Beau Diddley
A great start to the day as I loved his type and quality, nearly
nine , loved his temperament, very good condition , typical
head and expression, sound front assembly, well ribbed with
good top and underlines, angled quarters, moved true and
covered well in profile to win Best Veteran.

Dog (2)
1st: HINWOOD, Longmel Courvoissier Truffle
Again I really liked this puppy for breed type and quality, good for size and balance, elegant clean outline, well angulated front and through the quarters, he has good bone and stands on good feet, moved soundly and retained his outline, I feel that if his handler gets more out of him he should have a bright future, loved his attitude and temperament, pleased to award him Best Puppy in Breed.
2nd: HEELS, Daxanory Menacing Awesome
Loved
his head and outlook, was not playing ball with his handler so did not
move as well as first today , but I did like his attitude and long may
he enjoy himself.
Junior Dog (4 ,1 absent)
1st: WYETH, Rayol Texas Rangers
Quality young boy, good head and eye shape, well placed shoulders and upper arm, good topline into strong loins, he demonstrated a good temperament and attitude, well off for quality bone into good feet, moved well fore and aft to win this class.
2nd: ASHBY, Rayol Dallas Cowboys At Jaxinorydax
Nice boy who has a lot to like about him , good neckline leads into sound front assembly, well balanced, today did not cooperate with his handler on the move up and down as much as he could have done.

Post
Graduate Dog (6 , 1 absent)
1st: MCNAUGHTON, Cedavoch Calenhad
Loved his size and elegant outline stacked, good head and eye, long clean neck into well-made front with good keel, well ribbed back to give good underline, he had the bone I was looking for and within his size frame, moving well from all views.
2nd: BORELLI, Philabar Crimson Skies
I liked his boys typical conical head and almond eye shape giving him his lovely expression, good front which is full and oval, good ribbing, well developed and angulated through the quarters, kept a good outline and moved well.
3rd: JONES, Cwmdarhian San Amtonio At Adnerb

Handsome and masculine with a quality stamp, I liked his head piece and eye, clean neck into good shoulders and front assembly, good keel and well ribbed, good bone and stands on strong feet , kept a good outline on the move and moved well fore and aft , he was presented in very good conditioning.
2nd: MCNAUGHTON, Cedavoch Rohan
Another from this kennel who has the desired quality bone and again within a neat frame, stands on well arched closed feet, good pro-sternum, just preferred the winner in profile movement today.

Loved this boy for his breed type and quality stamp, correct size and so balanced throughout with elegant and clean lines, lovely head set on long neck which leads to very good front assembly with good length and angles to shoulder and upper arm, well filled oval front, well ribbed back which helps provide correct top and underlines, well angulated through the quarters, moved so well from all angles in particular in front, to top it he is presented in great conditioning and is also sound in his temperament, pleased to award CC and Best of Breed.
2nd: BINKS & MCNAUGHTON, Cedavoch Ocean
Storm
Another sound boy of correct size with a lovely outline, really like his type and quality, he has a lovely conical head piece with correct eye and set, good bone and stands on good feet, clean long neck flows into soundly constructed front with good fill in and keel, he is well ribbed and has correct top and underlines, has enough ground clearance, he is very sound and true back and fore and can cover good ground in profile with his free gait, a sound and honest type dog that deserved the RCC today.

and retained her clean outline to win best veteran bitch.
2nd: WAND, Wanderhund California Girl Presented

cover whilst keeping her strong topline, good
temperament, just preferred the rear angulation of the winner.

Puppy Bitch (1)
1st: RYCROFT, Chidax Sahara Sand By Trisensara Very
pretty and feminine head piece of correct shape, good neck into a
strong topline, sufficient forechest, moved
well and importantly appeared to enjoy herself , still a baby and just
needs time to tighten up with some maturity.
Puppy Bitch (3)
1st: HINWOOD, Longmel After Eight Truffle Feminine
outlook, correct size and proportions so she is balanced throughout , moved
well fore and aft, she was more finished than class mates today and she
retained more of her outline to keep it all together, Best Puppy Bitch.

providing typical expression, clean neck leads to good shoulder angles , well
ribbed, well angulated through the quarters, moving well front
and rear whilst retained her topline.
2nd: ASHBY, Rayol Pumpkin Pie
Smaller mould girl who is elegant and feminine, she is well balanced, moved well particularly in profile gait , lot to like here as with the winner who was in very good form , two young girls with potential.

Presented in super conditioning with good muscle, red girl of lovely type and high quality, lovely head and eye, good front angulation with well filled front and keel, well ribbed with good depth and length providing correct underline, strong in topline and loin, very good angulation through the quarters which she used to advantage on the move here and in the challenge to win the CC , covered well in profile and maintained her stride , well done.
2nd: PATERSON, Cwmdarhian The Mistress
Feminine girl with a super temperament as demonstrated by being a little happy with her tail but I could not deny her placing, really loved her type and outlook , well ribbed with good depth, good on the move from all angles and she held a lovely outline, she just insisted on giving her handler a hard time in the main by kneeling back when stacked , every time I looked at her she was not cooperating and did not provide the picture she could have , shame as I would have considered her for higher honours as she is just my type and there is nothing over done about her, I wish you well with her for the future.

of a different type but still of high quality, again she has a clean and
elegant outline, good head with a long muscular neck, correct height
to length ratio, shown in very good conditioning and so well presented, she
moved well in particular she was very true fore and aft.
