Tamora to Tiffwazz
It was a great honour to be asked to judge
this variety at Crufts which I thoroughly enjoyed. Many thanks to the
exhibitors for entering and the committee for the invitation. Also thanks to
my hard working stewards for keeping the ring running smoothly. GCDSD (3,1)
1. Jennings' Ch. Marvale's Manifesto at Jenivon. Good head, dark eye, good
neck running into well placed shoulder, would like better length of upper
arm, good ribbing, well angulated quarters, rather deep in forechest, sound
on the move. 2. Thomson's Clentry Storm Out. Head correct shape, dark eye,
ears well placed, good neck, he is balanced in angulation but I would prefer
a little more length to upper arm and first thigh which would improve length
of stride, showed well and absolutely sound. PD (5) 1. Bethel's Hampdach
Sharp Dressed Man. Beautiful head with correct eye, good length of ear, good
neck running into good shoulder, good forechest, ribbing a little short,
well balanced hindquarters, sound on move, just needs to settle, BP. 2.
Swanson's Altimarlach Diabhal Dubh. Good head, dark almond eye, good neck,
well placed shoulder, would like better return of upper arm and longer rib,
well angulated rear, good bone and feet, good shape held on the move in
profile, just a little loose coming towards but nice pup. 3. Macdonald's
Hampdach Fixin The Breeze. JD (2) 1. Hinwood's Longmel Cointreau Truffle.
Good head shape, dark eye, good neck, little forward placed shoulder, decent
forechest and ribbing, good bone and feet, good quarters, correct tail set,
just lifting his front legs a little too much but otherwise a good shape and
parallel movement. 2. Gliniecka's Endless Energy Noisy Champion. Beautiful
head with correct shaped dark eye, good ear set and length, long neck and
well placed shoulder, he was balanced in angulation but for me lacked depth
in ribbing which made him appear rather on the leg, perfectly sound in
action. PGD (8,1) 1. Lamberti Zanardi's Dyan Gabriel Ardais Dell'antica
Torre. Beautifully balanced young dog of the correct shape, lovely head,
dark almond eye, good neck, well laid shoulder, very well balanced in
shoulder and hindquarters, enough forechest, ribbing carried well back, he
excelled on the move with parallel movement coming and going and correct
extension in profile, very pleased to award him DCC & BOB. 2. Kay's The
Hinks Dream Speed of Sound at Lochlip. Good head and eye shape, good neck,
bit steep in upper arm, good forechest and ribbing, good bone, slightly
longer in hock, moved out very soundly. 3. Hocking's Longmel Caprice
Truffle. LD (6)
1. Hinwood's Longmel Courvoisier Truffle.
Lovely red dog who caught my eye with his good outline in profile on the
move, good head, eye shape and ear length, good front assembly, ribbing
carried well back, well angulated hindquarters with correct fall on croup
and good tail set, parallel fore and aft. 2. Bethel's Hampdach Lord
Flashheart. Good head, neck and shoulder, good forechest, good bone, would
prefer bunchier feet, good length of first thigh but would prefer slightly
shorter rear pasterns, very sound on the move keeping a good outline. 3.
Chapman-Reith/West's Hayvenhund Hunky Dory. OD (14,2) 1. McNaughton's Ch.
Clentry Cooking Up A Storm. Very well balanced brindle of good breed type,
fair head with correct dark eye, good neck, well placed and angulated
shoulder, good forechest and ribbing, good bone and feet, well balanced
quarters, moved well fore and aft and kept a good outline with reach and
drive, close up to the CC winner but had to settle for RDCC today. 2. Debate
Gili's Aron. Beautiful head, good neck, well laid shoulders, would prefer
longer upper arm, good forechest, excellent bone and ribbing, well balanced
quarters, kept his outline while moving with good extension fore and aft. 3.
Nardo's It Ch. Dante Dell'antica Torre. VD (1) 1. Gliniecka's Int/Multi Ch.
Jamazja Paxton Pol JCh. Well balanced and sound with a correct head, good
neck, good shoulder placement, good ribbing, well balanced angulation,
parallel on move.
PB (6,1) 1. Kerry's Hampdach Belle Returns to
Kireton. Promising puppy unfortunately rather milky underline today,
probably the reason she was rather unsettled in general, attractive head and
good front assembly, fair ribbing, little longer in rear pastern, good bone
and feet.
2. Haggerty's Milendo Dina. Pretty head, dark eye of correct shape, rather forward placed in shoulder so the top-line is not correctly supported consequently rising to her quarters, quarters well balanced, sound fore and aft. 3. Smith/Willock's Raajput's Evening Mist. JB (6) 1. Rycroft's Raajput's Dancer Divaa with Trisensara JW. Neat bitch of good type, good head, neck, well constructed shoulder, good forechest and ribbing, well angulated quarters, moved soundly keeping a good outline. 2. Graham's Melriding Kaiserine at Ravold. Also very well constructed and kept her outline on the move, just seemed a little overawed at times but when she settles I'm sure will do a lot of winning. 3. Hinwood's Longmel Christmas Truffle. PGB (8,1) 1. Roberts/Smith's Rayol Cherry Pancake. Balanced on stack and kept her outline in profile. I would prefer a little more angulation to produce a better length of stride but she had a good head and neck, good top and underline and sound. 2. Valentine's Empetthounds Genesis into Tiffwazz. Good head and neck, little overdone in forechest, good ribbing, bone and feet, well balanced hindquarters, sound coming and going. 3. Parker's Luckytails Skye at Zorionadax JW. LB (14,1) 1. Andison's Clentry Forget Me Not. Beautiful head with correct almond dark eye, good length of ear, long neck running into well angulated and positioned shoulder, good forecehest, ribbing carried well back, well balanced quarters, correct top-line, moved soundly both ways and good extension in profile, pleased to award her the BCC. 2. Chapman-Reith's Hayvenhund Hissy Fit. Another well balanced and well constructed bitch I have admired ringside, lovely head, dark eye, good neck and shoulder, excellent bone and feet, correct top and underline, well balanced hind angulation, sound on the move keeping a correct outline, pushed hard for RBCC. 3. Kay's Lochlip Some Like It Hot. OB (10,2) 1. Chauhan's Ch. Hundpoint Mamma Mia. Good head, correct eye shape and colour, good neck, well laid shoulder, good forechest, ribs carried well back, correct top-line and tail set, well angulated hindquarters, would prefer better feet, on the move she has good reach and drive but moving a little close in front. 2. Andison's Ch. Clentry Crunchy Carrot. Good overall balance all through, also scored well in profile, outline and movement, well constructed shoulder, excellent ribbing and bone, good first and second thigh, slightly longer in rear pastern but nevertheless a first class exhibit. 3. Tomlinson's Ch. Melisdax Magnolia in May. VB (5) 1. Chauhan's Ch. Adnerbs Take A Chance On Me at Raajput. I have long admired this well constructed lady having given her BOB last time I judged, super extension on the move, just had to give way to youth on the day, RBCC & BV. 2. Wand's Wanderhund California Girl. Different type to the winner but another I have admired, very well constructed with a beautiful head and very elegant, moved with drive and enthusiasm. 3. Kay's Lochlip Skys The Limit.
