It has been some
time since I judged this breed and I suppose I had some pre-conceived ideas but
I was wrong! All the coats were hard, thought it has been a difficult year and
in many cases ‘Summer’ coats were hardly through. The one thing that did
surprise me was the prevalence of poor hind action. Going away from me some were
moving v close. Some mouths a little irregular but temperament uniformly superb!

Patton’s Lesandnic Limestone Lad. Eye catching lad and showing like an old hand,
good coat and sound all through; 2 Vine’s Cishelvine The Jazz Singer. Coat needs
a little more time but well constructed and showed well; 3 Clifford’s Winter
Storm Symphony With Ablebody.

Limestone Lad; 2 Johnstone’s Silvae Fitzrobin. Lovely p on the table but refused
to move!

Limestone Lad; 2 Brown’s Merlanrose Rhapsody. His coat will improve and he was
very proud of his tail here!

Phillips’ Wells Sea Breeze At Tendrow. V pleasing d, well put together, in a
nice wire jacket. CC; 2 Johnstone’s Silvae Hip Pip. Another well constructed d
but a little overweight today, good coat; 3 Borman’s Sonic Sir Galahad.

Johnstone’s Silvae Ho Ho. Another well made d. I was splitting hairs at this
stage, excellent coat; 2 Paterson’s Cishelvine Firedancer. Good jacket, shape
and movement. “Unlucky to meet the above” as they say!; 3 Speak’s Caligari
Rodnan Royal Sinc. DCC Wells’ Sea Breeze At Tendrow; Res CC Saxonbury Double
Diamond. BDP Lesandnic Limestone Lad.

Cishelvine Wispa Of Jazz. As good a pair of shoulders as I saw all day. Small
but very neat; 2 Gordon’s Cempsey Coquet. More mature than 1st, would have liked
a bit more coat; 3 Tendrow Sumthyne Special.

Endersby’s Mowbray Peggy Sue. Pleasing outline and good coat; 2 Patton’s
Lesandnic Lizzy The Lizard. Litter sister to BDP, has a little way to go to
catch up with him!.

Liebling On Golden Pond. V nice sound red; 2 Gibson’s Allfrey Miss Conception.
Short of coat on the day.

Williams’ Silvae Piccolo. Attractive b. Super hard coat and sound right down to
her exceptional toes; 2 Ferguson’s Allfreyss Rainbow. Well made b.

Salisbury’s Brocklewood Elilah. V well constructed and standing on a pair of
well made feet; 2 Harris’ Ritlow Jewel In Ebony. Nice shape and feet but coat a
little soft; 3 Gordon’s Silvae Gemstone At Kempsey.

Orchard’s Hanrose Minnie The Minx. Nice coat, moved better behind than most,
suitably plump for her age!. BCC Silvae Piccolo. Res CC Liebling On Golden Pond.
