VHC:
I really enjoyed my day especially while judging this lovely breed. Thanks to all the exhibitors for the memorable atmosphere around the ring and the way my placings were accepted.
JD. (6). 1. Gibson’s, Allfreys Tristran. Quality youngster having a typy masculine head and expression of good shape and proportions. Well made all through. Soundly constructed forequarters. Well ribbed back with plenty of spring and depth. Pleasing topline and correctly angulated hindquarters of good width. Moved out well with good front extension. Well boned and good harsh coat. 2. Phillips’,Romachi Chawasha at Tendrow. Another quality young male slightly longer in body than first. Pleasing head and expression, set on a neck of good length. Well bodied with great topline and well angulated hindquarters. Preferred width behind of first and width in front. Moved out well but close behind. 3. Rollinson’s, Nosinllor Grenedier.
PGD. (4). 1. Brown’s, Merlanrose Rhapsody. Smart quality male, super profile and proportions. I liked his head and head carriage. Good length of neck and body. Pleasing spring and depth. Preferred his forechest and front to that of second. Not in the best of coats but nonetheless could not deny him quality of conformation. Moved with plenty of extension fore and aft. 2. Rollinson’s, Nosinllor Muskateer. Well made typy male. Good masculine head and eye. Body of good length, well ribbed and good depth. Pleasing topline. Well angulated hindquarters. Moved out well but a little unsettled in front. 3. Vosper’s, Tregiskey Hucklberry Finn.
LD. (8). 1. Seath’s, Stonavale Stars and Stripes at Sunsong (Imp). Impressive quality male. Super type head and expression. He has eye catching presence both standing and on the move. I loved his profile and overall proportions and balance. He has a well muscled body with good length and correct topline. Well ribbed back with good depth and forechest. Pleasing broad strong well angulated hindquarters. Moved freely with plenty of drive and extension. Pleased to award him the DCC and challenged hard for BOB. 2. Clifford’s, Winterstorm Symphony with Ablebody. Another super male with many of the qualities of first. Well constructed front, longer o/a than first. Good ribbing and depth and pleasing underline. Well muscled, broad hindquarters with good angulation. Moved freely but was unsettled in hind movement. Good furnishings and coat. 3. Evans’s, Saxonbury Double Diamond.
OF. (5). 1. Phillips’, Ch. Wells Sea Breeze at Tendrow. Another impressive male who oozed type. Super head and expression. Good furnishings and coat. Soundly constructed forequarters. Good tight elbows. Mature body of good length. Pleasing topline and unsderline. I liked his profile and proportions. Moved out well. Although preferred profile and balance to second. I preferred my CC winner when moving and so made him my RDCC. 2. Dible’s, Ritlo Make Mine at Liebling. Mature typy male having a head and expression that I liked. Not the width in chest of first but does have a good o/a profile. Good angles in front and rear. Body of good depth and substance and topline. Tended to be closer behind than I like which showed on the move. 3. Speak’s, Caligari Rodnan Royal Zinc.
PB. (7). 1. Skinner’s, Ritterburg Witches Braw. Eye catching quality youngster who impressed in substance and profile. Lovely feminine typy head which she carried high. Pleasing width all through, true front, nice tight elbows. Well angulated hindquarters with good broad rump. She moved well and soundly for one so young with extension. BPIB. Good coat and furnishings. 2. Salisbury’s, Brocklwood Diorella. 11 months old quality young female. Another having a profile and balance that I liked. Well shaped head with correct expression. Good length of neck, well set into well angulated shoulders. Body of good substance and depth. Pleasing topline, well boned. Strong well angulated hindquarters. Moved out well but not as plecise as first. 3. Endersby’s, Mowbray Miss-In-Form.
JB. (8). 1. Sait’s, Quillon Star Turn. Eye catching mature bitch. Although a little unsettled on the day. She cannot be denied her placing. She is well made all through. Lovely type. Well constructed forequarters and hindquarters. Well bodied of good length and depth. She has width in front and behind and moves out well with pleasing extension and drive. True fore and aft. She impresses with her lovely head and neck and profile both standing and on the move. She had to be good to win over second. 2. Skinner’s, Ritterburg Witches Brew. 3. Dible’s, Ritlo the Gypays Fortune at Liebling.
PGB. (9). 1. Harris’s, Ritlo Theiving Magpie. Very typy well made bitch. A real handful for her handler. She has super coat and furnishings which I preferred to second. Pleasing well made forequarters. Good prominent sternum. She has good width in front and rear. Body of good length and proportions. When standing her profile is good and well balanced. Moved out well with drive. Preferred o/a length to second. 2. Endersby’s, Mowbray Peggy Sue. Well made bitch having plenty of substance. Good front. Well bodied, pleasing topline. Well angulated hindquarters. Shge needs to settle on the move. 3. Clifford’s, Nocturns Winter Night with Ablebody.
LB. (8). 1. Seath’s, Nowbray American Pie at Sunsong. Mature quality bitch having a super profile. I liked her typy but feminine head and expression. Well muscled neck of good length. Well bodied with good ribbing having good depth, topline and underline. She has an impressive profile with good balance and proportions. Won this class with ease. Moved out well with good width extension and drive. 2. Gordon’s, Cemsesy Coquet JW. Another well made bitch who had a well constructed front which I preferred to third. Also has a good body profile. Pleasing topline length and front and rear angulation. Preferred width of first and more pricise movement althrough, did move out well in profile. 3. Ferguson’s, Allfrays Rainbow at Teaselwood.
OB. (6). 1.
Poulter’s, Ch. Lankelly Black Bryony. A mature bitch which fits the standard.
She is so well made. Impresses when she stands and moves. Lovely picture. Good
width, length and angulation. Soundly constructed all through. Typy feminine
head which she carries with confidence. Pleased to have been able to award her
the BCC and BOB. 2. Harris’s, Ritlo Jewel in Ebony. Another quality bitch and a
credit to the breed. Impressive when standing and moved in profile. Has many of
the attributes of first but did not have the width behind on the move. On the
day had to settle for the RBCC, but in good company. 3. Robinson’s, Tagundnacht
the Rag Nymph.
