MPD. (1). 1. Maundrell’s, Caligari Zeus. Promising brindle baby of nearly 8 months. Nice head and neck. Good forechest, ribbing and hind angulation. Keeps a good topline on the move. Hind action needs to firm up.

PD. (3). 1. Davies’s, Atahira Bags the Blue. Stylish brindle. Masculine head, good eye shape. Well ribbed body. Strong legs and feet. Correct hind angulation. Moved with drive keeping an excellent profile. BPD. 2. Baxter’s, Lankelly Timothy Grass. Another nice youngster. Good head, correct front, ribbing and quarters. Not co-operating standing but looked well on the move. 3. Cranmer’s, Silbae Jargoon.

JD. (6). 1. Clifford’s, Brockbane Papageno with Ablebody. Good headed young brindle. Loved his shape and outline on the move. Well balanced all through. Moved soundly with good driving action. A son of my BOB at Crufts a few years ago. 2. Rollinson’s, Nosinlior Grenedier. Good coated brindle. I see a grandson of the same Crufts BOB. Obviously he is passing on his type. Good head prominent sternum. Nice body shape, kept a good outline moving. 3. Phillips’, Romanchi Chawasha at Tendrow.

PGD. (2). 1. Rollinson’s, Nosinllor Muskateer. Litter brother to 2nd in J and very similar in type. Preferred hind movement of JD. 2 Rowe’s Boloria Persus. Choc boy. Nice make and shape. Good outline moving. Sound. Just not as good in front construction as the winner.

LD (7) 1 Seath’s Stonevale Stars and Stripes at Sunsong (Imp). Res CC. Super headed br. Good forechest, ribbing and underline. Correct hind angulation which he used to move with style. Just lost out in the challenge to the CC winner on length on the move. 2 Clifford’s Winterstorm Symphony with Ablebody. Another Pizzicato son. Similar in type, good head, excellent coat. LOvely hindquarters which he uses well on the move. Just not the forechest of the winner. 3 Harris’; Ermewood Juniper of Ritlo.

OD (8) A super class. 1 McCalmont’s Ch Silvae Pickwick. CC. I have admired this dog from the ringside and I wasn’t disappointed onm judging him. Excellent head and neck, well constructed body, super angulation. Really powers round the ring. 2 Dible’s Ritlo Make Mine at Liebling. Ultra sound lighter br. Good head and eye, prominent forechest, well constructed. Had to be good in this class for 2nd place. 3 Hitchens’ Ch Cloudside Petty Officer of Ashihna.

MPB (5) 1 Vine’s Cishelvine Love Love Me Do. 8 month br. Feminine head, good body proportions and moved soundly. 2 Higgott’s Ashihna G Whizz at Elaton. Sweet headed br bitch. Similar age to the winner though not as mature. Moved quite well. 3 Kent’s Liebling Sweet Charity.

PB (8) 1 Dible’s Ritlo the Gypsy’s Fortune at Liebling. Eyecatching br bitch. Good head and neck. Correct body shape. Moved soundly, really covered the ground and keeping a good outline. BP. 2 Patton’s Lesandnic Sealia. Very nice picture, not as mature as the winner and couldn’t match her for coat, but won her p[lace on sound movement and length of ribbing and keel. 3 Skinner’s Ritterburg Witches Brew.

JB (3) 1 Dible’s Ritlo the Gypsy’s Fortune at Liebling. 2 Skinner’s Ritterburg Witches Brew. This puppy was 3rd in PB and is very impressive standing. Lovely head, good body proportions, just pinned in behind on the move.

PGB (8) 1 Clifford’s Nocturne Winter Night with Ablebody. Balanced brindle, good head, front and hindquarters.Held it together on the move, keeping correct profile and moving soundly. 2 Harris’ Ritlo Thieving Magpie. Very nice bitch. Again all that I was looking for in head and eye and body properties. Thought she might be my winner standing but just seemed to stretch out on the move and lose outline. 3 Latter’s Terony Flo Jo at Speldax.

LB (8) 1 Seath’s Mowbray American Pie at Sunsong. Res CC. Excellent coated br. Very similar in type to Res DCC, who I see is her sire. She kept a better outline moving. She looks like a Dachshund with a wire coat, which is as it should be. I am sure she will gain her title. 2 Derry’s Ritterburg Lady Guinevere at Andlouis. Peteit br bitch of lovely shape. Everything here in a small package. Moved soundly keeping a perfect profile. 3 Harris and Holmes’ Ritlo In Merry Mood.

OB (6) 1 Poulter’s Ch Lankelly Black Bryony. Super br bitch. Lovely head, artched neck. Prominent forechest, well ribbed body and well angulated quarters, which she really used on the move. . She can be a bit lazy standing but as I am known as a moving judge, her sound movement and excellent profile took her through to the CC and BOB. 2 Harriss’ Ritlo Jewel in Ebony (Imp). Another of similar type (is it the American influence?). Lovely head and neck, good forechest and body shape, moved well. 3 McCalmont’s Ch Silvae Picnic.
