JD (4.1) 1 Borman’s Sonic Pickpocket. Particularly liked reach of neck & head. Good quarters giving good hind movement. Good front. 2 McCalmont’s Silvae Pioneer. Another with a good head & nice reach of neck. Good front. On the move, preferred outline of winner. 3 Smith’s Caligari Spring Meadow
Sp Beg (1) 1 Smith’s Elaton Forever Freddie. Was in puppy dog & wouldn’t keep his mind on the job. Went much better here. Nice size with good front. Easy mover when he puts his mind to it.
PGD (3.1.) 1 Robinson’s Tagundnacht Dinner of Herbs. Nice sized dog with appealing head & good neck. Lacks finish at the minute, but won his place on movement. 2 Norman’s Silvae Hotshot. Good shoulder & front. Typical head & eye. More finished than the winner, but not as positive on the move.
L (7.2.) 1 Derry’s Andlouis The Tempest. Neat & compact dog with classical outline. Lovely quarters. Good mover. Showman who pulled out all the stops. 2 Coverley’s Romanchi Choctaw. So much to like about him. Liked his style & presence. Moved well with good outline. Just doesn’t quite go for it. 3 Harris’s & Millgate’s Ritlo Shooting Star
OD (7.2.) Difficult class. 1 Derry’s Soneve Pharaoh at Andouis. Appealed for balance. Masculine but elegant dog with good outline. Good quarters. Liked his head & neck.. Lovely outline as he moved around the ring. CC 2 Rollinson’s Ch Nosinllor Grenadier Sh.CM. In many ways, similar to my CC winner. Very balanced with good outline. Well constructed with strong quarters. Liked both very much. Res CC. 3 Williams’, Burke & Manston’s Ch Bonavoir Kelly’s Eye.
Vet (7) What a lovely class. Such a pity anything had to go lower than first. Must say they were all in lovely condition, from their lovely coats to their sparkling teeth. 1 Gordon’s Ch. Silvae Gemstone at Cempsey. 8 year old bitch who moved with power & purpose. Still maintains a good outline on the move. Nice size. Good head & eye. showing no signs of age. Still has a lovely front & keeps a good outline. 2 No details given. 3 Harris’s Ch. Silvae Blacksmith at Ritlo.
PB (11.5) 1 Phillips’ Tendrow ‘O’ Sooo Special. Appropriately named quality baby. Really takes your eye for style and balance. Has amazing ring presence for a baby. Lovely head & eye. Must have a bright future. Res CC & Best Puppy. 2 Vine’s Chiselvine Ocean Dream. Another balanced baby. Good quarters & outline. Good front. 3 Devereux’s Elaton Truly Scrumptious.
