WIRE HAIRED:
This was my first set of CCs in my breed and I looked for a Dachshund possessing the three Ls, without exaggeration and I found this in my top winners. I would like to thank all the exhibitors for the entry, I really enjoyed my day. I would just like to say here that on the down side, please try to work on presentation, it does make a difference you know! Thank you all once more.
MPD (3,1) 1 Vine’s Cishelvine Tsunami. Dark brindle boy of just 6 months, showing a nice topline. Good coat, perhaps needing a little attention. Good shoulders and angulation, will watch with interest. 2 Clare’s Cempsey Sun Light at Mabelline. Red puppy, a big boy. Topline not as good as the winner. Fair coat. Would like a better front action and a little more hind angulation.
JD (5) 1 Phillips’ Tendrow Special Edition. 16 months brindle, the three Ls apply here. Moves around the ring with much purpose. Good head and front construction. A very nice quality dog. 2 Lever’s Wireline Standing for Gold at Reveldown. Brindle boy, larger dog than the winner. Good coat, topline and front. Not quite the drive one likes to see, for all that is a nice dog. 3 Davis’ Teckelgarth Tom Thumb.
PGD (2,1) 1 Pinkerton’s Bystock Skye Walker at Menigma. A good size brindle dog, good coat and a level topline moving and stacked. Nice front construction, tends to move a little close behind.
LD (5,1) 1 Borman’s Sonic Pickpocket. Here we have a quality dog. A nice mover with a full, flowing stride. Super coat. Kept his topline at all times, good front, correct feet and well let down. As I say, a quality dog who will certainly make his mark. 2 Seath’s Sunsong Totally Frank. Brindle dog, taller than the winner. A quality hound with a good topline and quarters. Moved well both ways, smashing coat. I liked him a lot. 3 Baxter’s Lankelly Timothy Grass at Kharmina.
OD (4) 1 Derry’s Andlouis The Tempest. Came in the ring, took the eye and conquered. Perfect standing and moving. Beautiful hind action, moving is a joy to watch. Good front, head and neckline. At one with his handler. CC and BOB. congratulations. 2 Moore’s Ch Ir Ch and Am Ch Raydachs Tom Cruisen On. Brindle boy, slightly smaller than the winner. Good topline on the move. A little close behind on the day, a tidy little dog. Res CC. 3 Derry’s Soneve Pharoah at Andlouis.
MPB (2,1) 1 Mankin’s Birchman Marauding Miss. Just 7 months baby, and that’s the word, very much a baby! Good front assembly and nice moving. A fair coat, good topline and hind angulation. Nice flowing movement.
PB (4,1) 1 Skinner’s Ritterburg Walkure. Dark brindle bitch, tight wire coat, wish she had a little more furnishings, should come. Super angulation front and rear. Good head and a nice neckline, very impressive mover. Best Puppy. 2 Mankin’s Birchman Marauding Miss. 3 Avard and Petry’s Cloudside Giselle with Rieyonne.
JB (9) 1 Moore’s Am Ch Raydachs Keeping Up Appearances. Very tidy brindle bitch, good topline moving and stacked. Coat in good order and, at last, one with correct feet. Smashing mover both ways with a good neck and shoulder. A pleasing bitch. 2 Phillips’ Tendrow O Sooo Special JW. Brindle girl, much the same applies here, and the three Ls apply. Neckline and shoulders in good order, a very stylish bitch and well let down. 3 Locksmith’s Cishelvine Born to Dance at Abbeydac.
PGB (6,2) 1 Hitchens and Lewis’ Ashihna Hi Jean at Trixhund. Another good moving bitch in very good coat. Super flowing movement and a smashing front assembly. Good hind angulation, nice size. A good all round bitch, very pleasing to watch going around. 2 Gordon’s Cempsey Florin. Red girl in tight ‘short’ coat. The three Ls apply here, not quite the hind movement as the winner. Good size. 3 Speak’s Rodnan the Goddess Athene.
LB (6,2) 1 Seath’s Sunsong Frankly Speaking. A fine upstanding bitch, good mover both ways and a smashing harsh coat. Front assembly in good order, very nice and correct hind angulation. Another one with good feet (few and far between on the day). 2 Pughe and Fraser’s Ritterburg Star Quest at Bystock. A brindle girl, not as positive in hind action as I prefer, but nice for all that. Topline and front assembly good, as is her hind angulation. 3 Gibson’s Allfreys Ursula.
OB (5) 1 Patton and Patton’s Audleys Roads to Lesandnic. Good size brindle girl. Moved as a Dachshund should, good coat, front and hind construction leaves little to be desired. Good tight feet - BCC (I later heard this made her up). Congratulations. 2 Phillips’ Ch Saxonbury Playday at Tendrow. Quality brindle bitch, quality girl but there has to be a second, as her title shows she is a worthy Champion. No disgrace here - Res CC. 3 Gibson’s Allfreys Genevieve JW.
