PGD (1) 1 Rowe’s Boloria Calico Jack, very nice dog who I have judged before & placed well before, good masculine head, lovely neck & shoulders, plenty of forechest, good length of rib. Would like a better line from withers to loin but other than this not much to fault him on, moved with plenty of drive. LD (1) 1 Harris & Millgate’s Ritlo Shooting Star, decent dog with good head proportions, good forechest, nice shoulder placement, decent length of rib, excellent coat. Tail carriage a bit high & moving a little close behind. OD (3) 1 Moore’s Ch Aventine Rainman at Romanchi, quality dog with everything in the right place, strong head with correct proportions, good neck into well placed forequarters, nice deep ribbing of a good length, lovely line from withers to croup, good angulated hindquarters, correct tail carriage, a very well balanced dog allowing him to move freely with purpose & drive. BD & BOB; 2 Rollinson’s Ch/Ir Ch Nosinillor Grenadier, quality dark brindle with the best of fronts, a very nice layback of shoulder, good ribbing of good length, excellent line from withers to croup giving him a lovely balanced appearance, good strong hindquarters giving good drive around the ring, very unlucky to meet the class winner. RBD; 3 Clifford’s Ablebody Rock’n’ Roll. JB (2,1) 1 Clifford’s Ablebody La Traviata, pleasing head eye & expression, decent front, good length of rib, good angulated hindquarters, moved very well. BP. PGB (1) 1 Ferguson’s Teaselwood Tea Rose, tidy bitch but would like better head proportions. Decent forequarters, nice length of rib, well balanced. Carried her tail rather high on the move but did move well. LB (3,1) 1 Rollinson’s Nosinllor Joan Of Arc, very tidy bitch in excellent condition, terrific coat, nice head with good earset, good forequarters, nice ribbing, strong hindquarters giving a good positive driving action. Carrying tail a little high, other than this not a lot to fault. RBB; 2 Harris’ Ritlo Sweet an’ Dromeda, came into the ring very unsettled & her handler never really got the best from her. Pleasing head, good jacket, good size. Better results might come if she shows what she has better. OB (3) 1 Moore’s Aventine Minority Report at Romanchi, another quality example of the breed from this kennel, correct head proportions, pleasing eye, good earset, good strong neck, nice quarters all round giving a nice balanced appearance. Picture just spoiled by her tail carriage being tucked low, this cost her in the challenge for BOB. BB; 2 Rowe’s Boloria Anastasia, choc bitch who stood & showed well. A little fine but has a pleasing head, eye & expression, moved soundly around the ring; 3 Rollinson’s Spitchwick By The Moor at Nosinllor. BRIAN BALLAN |
