WIRE HAIRED
PD. (5). 1. Skinner's, Ritterbug the Magician. A very mature looking young man. Lovely head, good neck, shoulder and topline. Well ribbed. Excellent coat and superbly presented and handled as always from this handler. 2. Carruther's, Tannahill Valentino. Red dog. Less mature and much less settled. Lovely head, super neck. Level topline. First class coat. Not the hind angulation of winner but a promising puppy. 3. Williams's, Swincomber Moss Mayo. JD. (1). 1. Skinner's, Ritterbug the Magician. PGD. (4). 1. Vines's, Cishelvine Seawell. Nice sized brindle dog who when settled moved very freely. Very sound fore and aft. Good head and expression. Level topline. Super ribbing, good angulation front and rear (something lacking in many). A nice dog. 2. Williams's, Swincombe Shropshire Lad. Again a nice sized dog. Bit stronger in head than winner. Good neck into shoulders. Level topline. Would prefer more hind angulation. 3. Edwards and Lavin's, Nosinlor Fusilier. LD. (4). 1. Pinkerton's, Bystock Skye Walker at Menigma. Dark brindle boy with lovely head and expression. Good neck, balanced front and rear angulation. Positive mover. Would prefer longer ribcage. 2. Barret's, Abbeydac Sorrel at Lowjinks. Nice headed and very well constructed dog who needs to be handled to appreciated. He is a sound mover and with more positive handling and better presentation would do better. 3. Davis's, Tecklegarth Tom Thumb. OD. (4). Four dogs all different but all I feel something to offer the breed. 1. Phillips', Tendrow Special Edition. Lovely headed dark brindle dog I have admired from the ringside. Good neck into well laid shoulders. Lovely front, level, well ribbed. Excellent ground covering movement and sound both ways. CC, just flagged a little in the challenge for BOB so had to give way to the lovely bitch. 2. Moores', Ch. Aventine Rainman at Romanch. Again a super well constructed dog. Close up to winner. Lovely overall construction. Kept his outline on the move at all times. RCC. 3. Borman's, Ch. Sonic Pick Pocket. PB. (5). 1. Ginson's, Allfreys Grace Kelly. Lovely free moving brindle so well made without exaggerations. Lovely head and eye. Good front, keel, ribs and so collected on the move. A good coat too. A very nice puppy. BP. 2. Phillips', Tendrow Poetic Justice. Red bitch with good coat. Well made throughout. Level topline. Good ribs and quarters. Not such a polished future as the winner but a good future for the both of them I have thought. 3. Clifford's, Ablebody La Traviata. JB. (5). 1. Pughe and Fraser's, Bystock Black Inca. Lovely headed free moving dark brindle. The darkest of eyes and lovely expression. Good neck into shoulders. Level topline. Balanced quarters. Very collected on the move with excellent coat too. I thought her a lovely bitch hence the RCC. 2. Phillips', Tendrow Special Reflection. Another nice one from this kennel. A very shapely bitch who is very well made all through and moved well at times. Again very promising. 3. Clifford's, Ablebody La Traviata. PGB. (8). A very mixed bag in this class without 2 the same. It was a case of personal preference and on the day. 1. Hefferman's, Ritterbug La Traviata at Mamuta. This is a very nice moving bitch who keeps jher shape on the move. Has a good expression. Good neck, nice shoulders. Level topline and good quarters. Sound fore and aft. 2. Vines', Cishelvine Ocean Dream. A well constructed bitch. Slightly heavier than the winner but with many qualities. Good front, keel, ribbing and hindquarters. Kept outline moving but lost topline on the stack. A very usefil type of bitch. 3. Rollinsn's, Nosinllor Joan of Arc. LB. (3). 1. Gibson's, Allfreys Ursula. A very free moving brndle bitch. Lovely head and expression. Good neck, good front, chest and balanced rear angulation. Sometimes pulls to hard on the lead and loses her outline when moving in her enthusiasm but a very nice bitch. 2. Poulter and Macdonald's, Lankelly Elopuents. A very pretty headed well made bitch with good body, balance fore and aft. Level topline, good ribs. Sound steady mover. Sympathetically handled and well presented. OB. (2). 1. Moores's, Aventine Minority Report at Romanchi. A very well made bitch. Good head, neck, shoulder and level topline. Superb well rounded long ribcage. Well angulated rear. Absolutely sound and purposeful mover. Little short on coat on the day but such a worthy winner who could not be denied the CC and BOB. 2. Pughe and Fraser's, Ch. Bystock Pumpkin Pie. Another nice bitch. Shown in immaculated coat and condition. Good neck into well placed shoulders. Good width to front. Level topline, good quarters. Close up to winner, but just preferred the more positive rear movement of winner.
