WIRE HAIRED
VD. (5). 1. Harris’s, Ch/SA Ch. Silvae Blacksmith at Ritlo.
Very typy, belies his age. So pleasing to go over. Super forechest and topline.
Shown in beautiful condition. Still a sound and very active mover. 2. Higgott’s,
Sonic Sir Gallahad. Good Dachshund. Lovely neck and forehand. Strong firm
topline. Sound on the move. Not quite the front of winner. 3. Williams’s, Ch.
Leiblings Pick n Mix. From a larger mould. Lovely head and super bone. Naughty
on the table. Res Robert’s, Perikles Knight of the Eagle.
SpPD. (3). 1. Harris’s, Ritlo Black Myr’lyn. Most promising boy. Lovely
to go over. Liked his head, neck and good bone and feet. Gorgeous topline and
quarters. Lovely croup and tail set. Sound but puppyish on the move. In good

rangy at present. Super coat. Needs more body condition and tail can detract.
SpJD. (8). 1. Draganescu’s, Pi Da Quinta D’Abroeira. What a super Dachshund.
Taller on the leg than we are used to, but after that he is lovely. Gorgeous
head on super neck, copybook shoulders. Lovely ribbing. Strong topline. Super
front. Excellent hindquarters. Ultra sound. Fantastic coat. 2. Phillips’,
Tendrow Special Format. This boy has a nice outline and is decent to go over.
Good body but couldn;t match the winner on the move. 3. Moore’s, Ch. Aventine
Rainman at Romanchi. Found him a little plain in head and expression and could
have more scope to his outline. Res Davison’s, Lesandnic Sea More Business.
PGD. (12). 1. Vine’s, Cishelvine Sea Swell. Very shapely, sound and active
mover. Lovely head on good neck, super bone and feet. So well ribbed and well
put together. Good topline. Coat could do with tidying a little. 23.

performance he did in Junior. 3. Lever’s, Reveldown Glenmorangie. Lovely head
and eye. Immaculate coat. So pleasing to go over. Doesn;t help himself on the
move.
LD. (10). Very disappointing class. 1. Norman and Racliffe’s, Silvae
Hotshot. Easy winner. Shapely brindle. Head could be a touch stronger. Lovely
neck giving elegance. Firm topline. Sound mover. Lovely bone and feet. Coat not
at its best. Bit rocky on his hocks going away. 2. Harris' and Millgate’s, Ritlo
Shooting Star. Immaculate in coat and condition. Pleasing head. Elegant neck and
shoulder line. Presented a good outline on the stack. Just didn’t keep his
topline going round. 3. Phillips’, Tenrow Special Edition. This dark brindle I

topline. Lovely to go over. Fabulous feet. Shown in beautiful condition. Very
stylish. RCC. 3. Moore’s, Ch/Ir/Am Ch. Raydachs Tom Cruisen On (Imp). I gave
this deserving Champion a CC previously. Different type to the two winners. Not
the head and expression. Nice to go over. Sound and in good condition. Res

beautiful type. So good to go over and again in super condition. Immaculate
topline, sound, but tail can detract at times. 3. Rollinson’s, Nosinllor Joan of
Arc. Super pin wire coat. Nice one. Just not quite the outline of winner. Lovely
bone and feet. Tail detracts on the move.

so very sound, no exaggerations just a good Dachshund. Pleasing head. Good front
and shoulders. Super outline. Shown in good coat. Sound and stylish. 2.

awkward teenage stage at the moment and a little out of coat. Sound enough and
should mature nicely. 3. Borman’s, Sonic Water Lily. Lovely bitch, super coat
and condition. Thick padded feet. Super to go over with gorgeous quarters. Just
carless with her front and topline on the move. Res Calcott’s, Vinecre It’s Only

brindle. Lovely head although eyes could be a touch better. Good to handle being
so well ribbed with lovely bone and feet. Shown in gleaming condition. Sound and
uses herself well on the move. 2. Lever’s, Reveldown Glengarioch. Very similar
in many ways to winner. Lovely head and eye. Very good on the table. In good
condition. Sound mover. Just tends to run up a little behind on the move. 3.
Maes-Jones and Bates’s, Derochaise Picardie. Nice head and decent in front.
Little tucked up in under carriage and feet could be better. Res Derry’s,
Schutzenwald Penny Lane at Andlouis.
LB. (8). Lovely class. 1. McCalmont’s, Silvae Mystic. Breadthkating on the
table. Immaculate and so correct in everyway. Lovely head and eye, so well
balanced, feminine yet with desired substance. Sound, showy and fabulous to go
over. Loved her. CC winner. For BOB she was a little unsettled running round
with her kennel mate, so had to setle for BOS. Wish she was mine! 2. Moore’s,
Aventine Minority Report at Romanchi. Not quite the head and eye of winner, that
aid not a lot wrong with her. Pleasing to go over and a sound dog. Not quite so
light on her feet as winner and coat not just at its best. 3. Hitchens and

topline. Just not so positive going away as winner. 3. McCalmont’s, Ch. Silvae

Soudn, but tail can tetract and not in the coat of winners. Res Patton’s, Ch/Ir
