WIRE HAIRED
Thank you for the quality entry. Breeding Dachshunds since decades and
visiting in the UK Shows since 30 years I was very satisfied looking at the
definite change of the type in this breed in the UK. Dogs are much more look
like they are able to work, slightly higher on their legs, and the size changed
to its better. Dogs are smaller, reaching the proper size, not making an
impression being slightly Basset hound like. I’ve also seen quite many really
good coat textures. My winners on the day should also win very well in the
Continent. I was really impressed about the improvement.
MPD 1 Carter’s Romanchi Alkansea. A very nice little fellow, full of
character, nicely headed with an excellent expression. Moved well around the
ring. 2 Moore’s Romanchi Mohican. Nice type, proper head, a little bit softish
coat. Should need more time to get the substance in the future.
PD 1 Coverley’s Aventine Tropic Thunder. Good size and type. Nice
masculine head and expression. Correct topline. Good coat quality. He had the
best of breed-character and temperament. A very communicative, proud puppy. He
seems to have a bright future to me. BP. 2 Mankin’s Birchman Black Bart. Very
good type and coat texture. Nicely headed, correct shoulders and front. Not
quite the topline of the winner’s yet.
JD 1 Edwards & Lavin’s Swincombe Darite. Good type, nice head and
expression. Not yet ready in topline. Neat front, moved well. 2 Paskins’ Sonic
Foot Loose at Kindeace. Nice head and expression. Could be slightly higher on
his legs and a bit longer in his upper arm. Correct topline. PGD
1 Kent & Dible’s Monisi On The Town. A very eye catching dog with excellent coat
texture. Lovely head, good neck and shoulders. Plenty of substance. He has a
workmanlike functional beauty standing and moving. DRCC. 2 Paskins’Atahira Bags
of Blue At Kindeace. A slightly bit heavier, but masculine dog with plenty of
substance. Nice head. Moved well.
LD 1 Dible’s Lewiblings Stormin Norman. A fantastic, typy red, oozing
quality. Caught my eyes in the minute he entered in the ring. Lovely head,
PERFECT SIZE AND BALANCE (!), good coat texture. He is a very sound mover from
every angle. He definitely owned his otherwise strong Class. Could be a winner
in any of the shows in the Continent. I was thrilled to give him the DCC (I’ve
been told his second after Cruft’s) & BOB. 2 Patton’s Lesandnic Larsson. Good
type, nice masculine head. Correct shoulder and front. Moved well. I liked him,
but he had a bad luck to be together with the Star of the day in the same Class.
OD 1 Luxmoore, Ball & Mease’s Am.Ch. Rosadachs Texas Longhorn Bevow. An
eye catching dog in American type. Elegant, sound mover, slightly longer in
body. Presented in perfection. Correct front and rear. 2 Moore’s Ch Aventine
Rainman at Romanchi JW. A nice, honest male with lovely head, correct anatomy.
Good coat texture. He just would need the elegance of 1 to go even further.
MPB 1 Calcott’s Baffledown Peanut Butter. A lovely, feminine head and
expression. Good length of the neck. Her front should slightly improve, but a
very promising puppy for the future. 2 Patton’s Lesandnic Look Here. Typy puppy,
nicely headed, good coat, substance. Her topline should improve on the move in
the future.
PB 1 Murphy & Langburn’s Birchman Diabolito. The sweetest of
the head, good neck and shoulders. Good balance and substance. Correct topline.
Her front should improve. 2 Bates & Maes-Jones’ Derochaise Black Orchid. Nicely
headed puppy, good neck and shoulders. Could be slightly higher on her legs.
JB 1 Mease’s Weaverwires Florin. Oozing type, nice feminine
head with exc. expression. Correct anatomy, lovely balance and substance. Nice
coat. She is a true mover. She is another one, who could win in the Continent
with ease even with her young age. BCC. 2 Gibson’s Allfreys Starduster. Feminine
head, correct neck and shoulder, a little bit short upper arm. Correct topline.
Good coat texture. Good front and rear.
PGB 1 Seath’s Sunsong Gypsy Music. A nicely balanced bitch. Feminine
head, good coat texture. Correct topline, but a little bit loose front on the
move. A quality bitch. 2 Kent’s Monisi Calamity Jane. Feminine head. Good neck
and shoulders, a little bit short upper arm affects her movement. Correct
topline. LB 1 Patton’s Lesandnic Lily Agnes. The usual nice
type from this kennel. Lovely head and expression. Correct neck and shoulders,
lovely balance and substance. Moved well. Pushed hard the winner in the unbeaten
class. RBCC. 2 Pughe & Fraser’s Bystock Black Inca. Nice, feminine bitch.
Pleasant head. Good neck and shoulders. The upper arm could be slightly longer.
Good coat quality.
OB 1 Rowe’s Bolorias Anastasia. Well-balanced bitch in good type.
Plenty of substance. Nicely headed. Moved well. Correct topline. I would prefer
her on a bit higher legs. 2 Patton’s Lesandnic Liberthine. Another lovely bitch
from this kennel. Nice head, good substance, correct anatomy. A little bit short
upper arm.
