Dachshund (Wire Haired)

On the whole the quality was of a very good standard. Some of the  dogs were a bit too long in body and I was slightly disappointed with  some mouths. Breeders should kee in mind the original purpose of the  Dachshund. My winning dogs were beautiful and I would be happy to see  them back on a show on the continent.

MPD 1 Paskin's Kindeace Blue Savanah. Very promising dog with wonderful  head, lots of forebreast and nice proportions, moves soundly already  at this age. 2 Robinson's Tagundnacht Mr Bojangles. Nice  temperament, very good forebreast, slightly longer in back than  first, good angulations, has time on his side. 3 Vine's Cishelvine  Zephyros.

PD 1 Hastings' Bardings Benny The Dip. Red coloured, excellent hair,  beautiful head and expression, overall excellent type, good topline.

JD 1 Seath's Sunsong Whisper A Promise. Masculine dog, chocolate  coloured with expressive head, excellent mover and very good topline.  2 Singleton's Tendrow Drumm Crazy Jethard. Dark wildboar coloured,  good coat, with impressive head, lots of forebreast, did not move  with the same drive as first.

PGD 1 Vine's Allfreys To Catch A Thief At Cishelvine. Strong dog with  masculine head, excellent angulations and topline, moves sound with  good drive. 2 Skinner's Ritterburg Surprise Parcel. Not small,  excellent forebreast, very good angulations, very nice in stand,  moved better in front than in hind. 3 O'Neill's Somercloud  Explorer.

LD 1 Rollinson's Bystock Double O Seven At Nosinllor. Excellent dog,  not too long, sound balanced, moving free, very well angulated,  friendly temperament. 2 Coverley's Aventine Tropic Thunder. Strong  dog, slightly longer but well balanced dog, moving very well, nice  topline and angulations, preferred a slightly shorter type on first.  3 Skinner's Ritterburg Storm Trooper.

OD 1 Dible's Multi Ch/BTCh Liebliings Stormin Norman. He immediately  caught my eye as he came in the ring. Red coloured dog with  impressive topline, very good coat which is not always in this  colour, very good forebreast, top angulations, moved best. CC, BOB. 2  McCalmont's Ch Silvae Zealot. Strong dog with excellent type and  body, moving well, excellent topline, friendly temperament, would  have liked to have a slightly harsher coat. RCC. 3 Lewis-Crooks'  Barmaud Rufus (Irl) (Imp).

MPB 1 Bates &Maes-Jones' Derochaise Elegancia. Dark wildboar  coloured, very elegant bitch, excellent proportions, moves very well  for this age, good topline, has time on her side. 2 Morris'  Wagsford Winona. Strong body, well balanced puppy with nice head and  expression, needs to develop in coat, moving well for the age. 3  Robinson's Tagundnahct The Gypsy Girl.

PB 1 Patton's Bardings By The Way TAF. Red coloured bitch, very  elegant, neat coat, good topline, excellent angulations, moves well  with lots of drive. BP. 2 Morris' Wagsford Winona. Strong body,  well balanced puppy with nice head and expression, needs to develop  in coat, moving well for the age. 3 Bates &Maes-Jones Derochaise  Zigana.

JB 1 Lewis-Crooks' Black Beauty By Kormeese Creado (Imp Pol).  Excellent feminine type with good coat, excellent feminine head,  moved very well. 2 Rollinson's Nosinllor Artemis. Very strong head,  good coat, slightly longer in back than first, very good movement,  preferred slightly more feminine type. 3 Phillips' Tendrow Peaches.

PGB1  Dible's Lieblings End Of The Rainbow. Red coloured bitch, very  elegant with excellent angulations, excellent topline, moves with a  lot of drive. 2 Perry's Petal Rebecca Von Tagundnacht. Strong bitch  with nice proportions, very good head and expression, well angulated,  preferred the topline of first. 3 Robinson's Tagundnacht The Girl.

LB 1 Pughe &Fraser's Bystock Pussy Galore. A bitch with excellent  type and perfect coat, well balanced, lovely head, excellent  angulations, she moves with a lot of drive which caught my eye,  lovely in stand. RCC. 2 Barney's Molloney On Denise For Romaunt.  Very similar quality to first, excellent type, moving freely but  preferred the coat of first. 3 Smith's Salixian Elise.

OB 1 Seath's Sunsong Wish Upon A Star. Very excellent and elegant  bitch, lovely type with perfectly matching head, coat in perfect  condition, super topline, matching ground coverage, she could easily  win in Germany. CC. 2 McCalmont's Silvae Zeal. Looks a bit longer  in body but well balanced, very good coat, moved well with drive,  would prefer a slightly more feminine head. 3 Phillips' Ch Tendrow  Replayed In Red.
