Great Joint Dachshund Ass 2012

WIREHAIRED - I was
pleased with quality in Wires, especially in the higher classes. Could have
awarded several CCs, especially in bitches. The Open class was lovely down the
line and came to personal preference. Thanks to the hardworking Committee and
my very efficient steward. PD (3) 1 BP and BPIS, Weatherer's
Salixian Levante Via Itsuitzuz. Loved this baby. Was rushed into the ring, so
was a little unsettled at first. However, he soon began to enjoy himself. Such
lovely bone and feet, well developed front and ribbing, beautiful head and
expression, correct construction all through, very sound, happy mover, very
promising. 2 McPherson &Paterson's Fransin Brasilian TP Panettone (Imp).
Admired this puppy from the ringside a few weeks ago. He has lots going for
him. Lovely outline, correct shoulders, kept his topline in profile, plenty of
drive on the move, coming to me he just needs to mature and drop into himself.
Will have a better day. 3 Davies' Atahira Joie De Bleu. JD (3,
1) 1 Paskin's Kindeace Blue Savannah. Nice typical lad, masculine head, stands
four square and sound mover, would like a little more hind angulation. 2
Robinson's Tagundnacht Mrs Bojangles. Lighter brindle, looks nice standing,
would like a little more follow through of ribbing as he cuts up somewhat in
profile on the move, good width going away and coming to me and keeps a good
topline. YD (1) 1 Hooper's Strutting Arch At Starhill. Alone,
but worthy of his win, correct head and eye, nice size, shade short in upper
arm although layback was ok, sound enough. PGD (2, 1) 1
Hastings' Lesandnic Sublimity. Lovely hard coated red boy, judged him as a
puppy and liked him then. He is apt to find very interesting smells on the
floor, but when corrected has a good length of neck and keeps his shape in
profile, super head and front, very sound dog. 2 Derry's Eydehavn At Andlouis.
Dark hard coated brindle, correct head and good neckline, ribbing carried well
back. He is rather straight behind which shows when moving in profile so giving
a rather stilted action. LD(7) 1 and RCC, Vine's Alfreys To
Catch A Thief At Ciahelvine. Loved this boy, so correct all through. This
kennel seems to produce dogs with excellent shoulders, especially good length
of upper arm, sadly missing in many. Lovely front, well developed long ribbing,
strong well angulated hindquarters. Looked really nice on moving in profile,
covers plenty of ground with style. In the challenge he became a bit of a
fidget and missed out on the CC. Sure to make up. 2 Carter's Romanchi Alkansea.
Very handsome brindle boy, have admired him before, super coated, again decent
shoulders, lovely neckline and lengthy ribbing, very sound mover. Perhaps I
should wish him a shade smaller, but he has many virtues. 3 Downes' Aventine
You Only Live Twice. OD(6) Quality class. 1 McAlmont's Ch Silvae
Zealot. Quality all through and he knows it. So stylish and with that arrogant
expression I love. Super outline at all times. Very worthy champion. Well
boned, very fluid, sound mover and never puts a step wrong. 2 Lewis-Crooks' Barmaud
Rufus. Red of quality, nice size, gorgeous head and expression, very well put
together, excellent bone, very strong hammy hindquarters, sound width
throughout and very sound. 3 Patton's Ir Ch Lesandnic Sea The Stars. VD(1)
1 and BV, Moore's Ch Ir Am Ch Raydachs Tom Cruisen On. Ten and a half yrs, in
lovely hard condition, 'fit as a flea'. Very masculine outlook, well put
together, so sound moving, good ground clearance and not too deep in chest..
MPB(4) 1 and BPB, Moore's Romanci Bella Bella. Seven and a
half mths, so very immature, very appealing, lovely temperament, correctly made
all through, decent front development even at this age. Not too big. When she
settled moving she was so sound for a young baby, loads of confidence, just
needs maturity. Promising. 2 Bellamy's Bolorias After Eight At Carjay. Choc
brindle, such a baby and very soft as yet, no serious faults at this age, just
6 mths, nice temperament, hope to see her in a few months. 3 Maxwell's Romanchi
Lokono. PB(2) 1 Romanchi Bella Bella. 2 Smith's Salixian
Levecue. Dark, well presented, hard coated girl. More mature than winner but
she is a shade deep I feel for a puppy. Not the hind angulation of first, moves
soundly enough. JB(7) 1 Patton's Bardings By The Way. Quality
girl, just out of puppy, stunning harsh red coat, beautifully presented, very
well boned all through, tight elbows giving really sound movement coming to me.
Nice neckline leading into correct layback of shoulders, good ribbing and
chunky hindquarters, very sound mover. 2 Warren's Wagsford Florence. This girl
needs to be gone over to be appreciated. She has an excellent textured coat but
too much furnishings, especially the bears. Please trim this down as it spoils
the head proportions and gives the wrong Dachshund expression. However,
underneath she is very well made all through. Moves with style and soundly.
Coming to me she is a shade close, but rear movement is fine. 3 Rees &Dible's
Lieblings Fly Me To The Moon. YB(4) 1 Bardings By The Way. 2
Lewis-Crooks' Black Beauty By K Credo (Imp). Dark brindle, more continental in
type but more correct than many who are far too deep and close to the ground.
Decent front, a shade square behind for my personal taste, however, once
settled moved soundly. 3 Vine's Cishelvine Echoes Of The Sea. PGB(2)
1 McPherson's Ambiesque Advent For Brumberhill. Houndy girl with good lengthy
ribbing and correct depth, good ground clearance, stylish mover. 2 Phillips'
Tendrow Peaches. Lovely, well presented red, super textured coat, again very
sound moving, well made throughout, she is a shade lower to ground than first,
but two nice girls. LB(7) Lovely class. 1, CC and BOB, Pugh
&Fraser's Bystock Black Truffle. Couldn't take my yes off this girl. Such
quality, as per the standard, 'Smooth-haired Dachshund' in a Wire jacket. Such
a clean outline. Blk/brindle, she is so pleasing to go over, not too low,
lovely size. On moving she looks so impressive, covering the ground with style
and soundness. Lovely. Her third CC I believe and well deserved. A popular win
going from the applause from the ringside. 2 Rollinson's Nosinllor Artimis.
Another quality bitch from this kennel. Really well made. Harsh brindle coat,
short loin, sturdy hindquarters, moved so soundly but doesn't cover quite the
same amount of ground as first, very nice. 3 McAlmont's Silvae Quintet. Another
lovely girl. OB(7) Wow, what a hot class. Final placings came
down to nit picking and personal preference. 1 and RCC, Pugh &Fraser's Bystock
Pussy Galore. Another from this quality breeding. Very lucky to have such super
stock. This one is very high quality and very close up to her kennel mate, very
feminine and correctly constructed, loved her head and expression. As with all
the ones from this kennel correctly presented, excellent ribbing and good
underline. She moves very well and soundly, but the winner just had that extra
'look at me' today. Lovely and very close. 2 McAlmont's Ch Silvae Zest. Lovely,
lovely lady. A well deserved champion. Again so typical of this long
established kennel, excels in front and shoulders. No 'short in upper arm'
here. Really free moving in profile with drive. Just a shade unsettled going
from me today, but aqs I said, had to separate them somehow. Lovely. 3 Gibson's
Ch Alfreys Grace Kelly. Another super girl. VB(4) Here we go
again. 1 Pugh &Fraser's Ch Bystock Pumpkin Pie. 7 yrs, gorgeous, immaculate,
super teeth. In lovely hard condition, very sound, correct size and
construction, is as previous exhibits from these breeders. Liked her and the
veteran dog equally. However, as she was just in veteran and he was ten and a
half, I made the decision to lean to him. That was difficult a both were
lovely. 2 Patton's Ir Ch Lesandnic Lucky Song TAF. I couldn't believe she was
14 yrs. Really fit, and an example of a veteran who is loved and exercised
regularly. A little out of coat but a well deserved place. Also good teeth. 3
Locksmith's Chishelvine Born To Dance For Abbydac.
