I was extremely pleased with the overall quality of this breed, and enjoyed my day examining the dogs before me. The breed has some quality stock that obviously, has already made the grade, but also there are young blood coming up ready to take over. A good position for the breed to be in, for a healthy future. WIRE HAIRED DACHSHUND: PD (3) 1 Mcpherson & Paterson's, Fransin Brasilian Tp Panettone. A well constructed young dog, with a promising future, and quality stamped through him. Good shaped head, dark eye, Super shoulder placement and good depth of brisket. Good bone with adequate ribbing, kept his topline at all times. A well balanced dog Best Puppy. 2 Robinson's Tagundnacht Mr Bojangles. A nice size dog, good head and dark eye, with a nice reach of neck which carries his head well. Lovely tight feet, good coat and moved well. 3 Davies Atahira Joie De Bleu. JD (2) 1 Paskin's Kindeace Blue Savanah. A very nice head and length of neck. Has a good forechest, and depth of ribbing. Nice angulation giving a good profile.Good movement. 2 Webb & Mifsud Bassjoy Take A Chance On Me. Tall elegant young dog. Good reach of neck onto tight shoulders and good straight dropdown. ND (1) 1 Mcpherson & Paterson's Fransin Brasilian Tp Panettone. As in Puppy. PGD (2) 1 Langley & Adkins, Philisha Jack Be Nimble. Good front assembly, with prominent forechest, good ribbing and strong topline, keeping his outline on the move. Correct shoulder placement onto tight well kept feet. 2 Derry's Eydehaun Helmsley At Andlouise. Well shaped head correct shaped dark eyes, good front assembly, and tight well kept feet. Correct texture coat. A bit exuberant but obviously enjoying his day out. LD (6) 1 Vine's Allfreys To Catch A Thief At Chiselune. A really fine example, of a sound, well constructed dog. Was in contention with the best, and with firmer handling could have made it a different outcome. He is a nice overall type and well balanced, with sound movement, keeping his topline on the move and lovely head carriage. Nice shaped head with dark well set eyes. Good bone, depth of ribbing and hind angulations. Excellent coat. 2 Gibson's Allfreys Rock Of Gibralter. A nicely constructed dog. He has no outstanding faults and is a pleasure to judge. Moves round the ring with drive and determination, keeping his topline at all times. 3 Rollinson's Bystock Double O Seven At Nosinllor. OD (6) A super class to be able to judge, full of quality dogs, who could change places with each other at any time. 1 Patton's Ir Ch Lesandnic Sea The Stars. Dog CC. An excellent example of the breed with no outstanding faults. I liked this dog very much and enjoyed going over him. He is sound, well constructed and moved with drive and determination with proud carriage of head. Lovely head and eye with a nice expression onto good reach of neck, deep brisket, and good length of ribbing. Well deserved CC. 2 Mccalmont's Ch Silvae Zealot. Dog RCC. Like 1, another fine example of the breed, He also is sound and well constructed with good movement. Well shaped head with dark eye and good reach of neck. Tight well kept feet. Correct type coat. Moved soundly. 3 Lewis-Crooks Barmaud Rufus. An excellent dog in a super class. PB (3) 1 Robinson's Tagundnacht The Gypsy Girl.  Quite a promising puppy, nicely constructed. Good shoulder placement enabling her head carriage to look good on the move, which she did soundly, with drive and determination, showing her pads as she drove away. 2 Smith's Salixian Leueche. Nicely constructed young bitch. Correct head, eye and reach of neck into good shoulders. Moved well. JB (3) 1 Rees & Dibble's, Liebling Fly Me To The Moon. A nice young bitch, soundly constructed making movement correct and sound at all times. Pleasing shaped head an eye with good reach of neck. Shoulders and ribbing correct with good hind angulation. 2 Patton's Bardings By The Way. As 1, A nice young bitch, soundly constructed making movement correct at all times. No obvious faults and pleasing to see. 3 Derry's Somercloud Sonata With Andlouise. PGB (5) 1 Mcpherson & Paterson's Ambiesque Advent For Brumberhill. A nice overall type, good size, and shape. Moved soundly, keeping her topline at all times. Good correct type coat. 2 Phillips Tendrow Peaches. Good head and eye, nice tight dropdown, good shoulder placement and hind angulation. 3 Lewis-Crooks Black Beauty By Kormeese. LB (8) 1 Dibble's Liebling End Of The Rainbow. Fought hard for her place in an excellent class, full of promising bitches. Super overall type, excellently constructed, making movement sound, flowed round the ring with drive. Good, head, dark eye, and reach of neck. Shoulder placement correct. Good hind angulation, pushing out and showing her pads. 2 Vine's Chiselvine Dream Of Sea. I thought this bitch was a quality bitch like 1, but did not behave as good. Saying that she was well constructed, sound in movement and correct in type with no overall faults. A credit to her breeder. 3 Rollinson's, Nosinllor Artemis. OB (6) 1 Mccalmont's Silvae Zeal. Bitch CC & BOB. There were some excellent examples of the breed with no outstanding faults in this class. I also liked this bitch very much and enjoyed going over her. She is well constructed, sound, and moved with drive and determination with super proud carriage of head making her outline, so impressive. Lovely head and dark almond eye with a nice expression onto good reach of neck, deep brisket, and good length of ribbing. Lovely hind angulation. No problem in awarding her CC and BOB. 2 Gibsons Ch Allfreys Grace Kelly. Bitch RCC. A credit to her owner, super overall bitch, well constructed, sound movement, a pleasure to see both standing and on the move. A nice type, with good head carriage, correct placed shoulders, deep ribbing. 3 Rollinson's Ch Nosinllor Joan Of Arc. An excellent bitch in a super class. This concludes my days judging.
