I was quite impressed
with this small but quality entry. Size seemed pretty uniform, most heads were
beautiful. I only saw one "iffy" mouth and apart from overlong nails which
seemed in the majority, I thought they were lovely and temperaments superb.
MPD (2, 1) 1 Rowe's Boloria's Cadbury's Surprise. The first of lovely
heads, mischievous expression, pleasing body and ribbing, nice turn of quarters,
toed in slightly, moved with alacrity, super coat.
PD(2, 1) 1 Davies' Atahira Joie De Blue. Very masculine outgoing
character, a bit erratic moving away but excellent drive from well angulated
quarters in profile with good front movement, nice head and furnishings, a
lengthy dog who could carry a touch more around the loin. BP.
JD(1) 1 Weatherer's Salixian Levante Via Itsuitzuz. Head ok, if a shade
short, well formed front, super bone and feet, ribs well back well turned
stifle, lovely profile action.
PGD(1) 1 Moore's Cloudside Monte Carlo. Lovely head proportions and
furnishings, super harsh coat, prominent front with dimples, good forehand,
tight elbows, ribbing ok, super on the move, commanding profile action, was
lovely, but he would persist in crouching in stance, stop him doing this and who
knows?
LD(4, 1) 1 Singleton's Tendrow Drumm Crazy Jethard. I liked this dog a
lot, super head and eye, lengthy neck into correct lay of shoulder and upper
arm, pleasing top and underline, moved well both ways but in profile lapsed into
a fumbly stride at times but I thought his overall qualities outweighed this. 2
Gibson's Allfrey's Rock Of Gibralter. A lovely dog difficult to separate in this
small but quality class, well constructed, super coat moved with enthusiasm,
preferred the profile and bone of first. 3 Vine's Allfreys To Catch A Thief At
Chiselvine.
OD(7, 1) A splendid class. 1 Lewis-Crookes' Barmaud Rufus (Imp). Super
quality red with masculine head and expression, lengthy arched neck flowed into
correct topline and tailset, very good forehand with prominent front, excellent
ribbing and lovely body proportions, good bone and feet, great hind stride from
well turned quarters, excellent hard coat and body condition, CC. 2 McCalmont's
Ch Silvae Zealot. Quality head on reachy neck, a sound and well constructed
front, not the pro-sternum of first, good bone and very well kept feet, ribs
well back, nice turn of stifle, preferred the more rounded quarters in profile
of first and overall ground clearance, but this is a lovely dog in super coat.
RCC. 3 Phillips' Ch Chiselvine Swellegant Guy At Tendrow JW.
MPB(6, 1) 1 Rowe's Boloria's Naughty But Nice. Was the best on the
move, nice size, well made front for age, well ribbed back, pleasing turn of
quarters, balanced profile movement, litter sister to MPD, very promising. 2
Vine's Chiselvine Cazadokes. Preferred her head proportions to first, had a
battle with her handler, moved better on a loose lead, nice temperament, just a
promising baby who needs time. 3 Bellamy's Boloria's After Eight At Garjay.
Litter sister to first, and very nice too.
PB(4, 2) 1 Coverley's Aventine Dawn Patrol. Pleasing head and reach of
neck into well laid shoulder, tight elbows, presented a super outline with
strong profile movement and drive from well turned quarters, good bone, enough
ground clearance, very promising. 2 Bailey's Deri Ze Zofova. Lovely head and
neck, moved with verve, good hind angulation, preferred the underline of first.
JB(3, 1) 1 Rowe's Derochaise Atlantica To Boloria. Very good in all
aspects, lovely head, neck and topline, super front and rear, nice quarters,
excellent coat, made a very pleasing picture going round. 2 Morris' Wagsford
Winona. Pleasing head and neck, moved ok, good hind angulation, preferred the
underline of first.
PGB(3) 1 Singleton's Tendrow Dance With You Jethard. Good all round,
neat is the word to describe this bitch, lovely head and neck, correct front
assembly, liked her top and underline, well turned quarters, plenty of ground
covered on the move and was sound fore and aft, super harsh coat, RCC. 2 Vine's
Chiselvine Echoes Of The Sea. Was rangier than first, pleasing head, arched
neck, prominent forechest, good bone but rather flat feet. 3 Lewis-Crookes'
Black Beauty By Kormeese Credo (Imp).
LB(3, 1) 1 Phillip's Tendrow Peaches. Red, best of heads, furnishings
and lovely dark eye, arched reachy neck, textbook shoulder and upper arm, good
forechest with dimples, strong bone with well padded feet (a rarity), ribs well
back, super outline and correct tailset kept on the move, well turned stifle,
nice short hocks, superb short dense harsh coat, lovely size, not too low to
ground. CC & BOB. 2 Moore's Cloudside Lara. Very nice too and unlucky to meet
first, lovely curve of pro-sternum, pleasing all round, super coat.
OB(5, 2) 1 McCalmont's Ch Silvae Zeal. A fine example with a lot to
like, lovely head and dark eye, lengthy neck, sound, correct forehand, tight
shoulders, good bone and ribbing, very good feet, moved well, pleasing all round
but I thought her a shade overlong, preferred the the body proportions of the
main winners. 2 Gibson's Ch Allfrey's Grace Kelly. Elegant, nice head and eye,
pleasing quarters and turn of stifle, preferred her body proportions, good bone,
long nails spoiled feet a little, moved well, balanced profile at all times. 3
Coverley's Avantine Shaken Not Stirred.
