The entry was quality ++ with hair spitting decisions. Movement excellent in profile & mainly coming towards me but rear movement needs to be addressed. All mouths good with only a few needing teeth cleaning. The ground was a little uneven but most coped with it well.
PD (5) 1 BP, Seath’s Zlowfox av Larhjelm at Sunsong, mature for his age, well balanced head with almond eye, strong neck, muscled body & rear, good underline with adequate ground clearance, well boned, moved out with drive; 2 Coverley’s Aventine Jamaica Inn, at his first show, head of correct proportions, well placed shoulders, long ribbing with short strong loin, angulated rear used to effect when moving, strong harsh coat; 3 Vine’s Chishelvine Red Admiral. JD (2) 1 Moore’s Metawand Goben By The Sea, alone but well deserved placing, well balanced dog with strong masculine head, elegant neck into well placed shoulders, good forechest & body depth, in hard condition, moved out well keeping a good top, underline & tail carriage, excellent coat. PGD (3) 1 Weather’s Salixian Levate via Itsuitzuz, another with good strong head & expression, well sprung ribs, muscled body with ground clearance, good bone, won class on movement; 2 Davies’ Atahira Joie De Bleu, close decision between these two but 1 pulled out the stops moving. Balanced boy of correct size & in harsh coat, correct ribbing to loin, well muscled body; 3 Paskin’s Kideace Blue Savannah. LD Quality class. 1 Gibson’s Allfery’s Rock Of Gibralter, balanced head into good reach of neck, strong breastbone, good ribbing & loin proportion, rounded rump & well angulated rear, won class on movement; 2 Skinner’s Ritterburg Storm Trooper, a handful sympathetically handled, balanced head with such a mischievous eye, strong front & well bodied, kept top & underline when moving, most well muscled rear, good bone & tight feet; 3 Rollinson’s Bystock 007 at Nosinllor. OD (5) As limit, a quality class. 1 CC & RCC, Downes’ You Only Live Twice, overall balanced dog in excellent coat, good head with almond eye, strong dentition, elegant neck into well placed shoulders, strong body with correct depth & heart space, long ribbing & short loin, well angulated rear used to good effect when moving with correct tail carriage, good ground clearance; 2 RCC, Lewis Crooke’s Barmaud Rufus, in immaculate condition & close up to 1, balanced head, good reach of neck, sound shoulders, strong body with well sprung ribs & short loin, moved so well; 3 Phillips’ Ch Cishelvine Swellant Guy at Tendrow.
PB (4) A delightful class of promising puppies. 1 BPB, Smith’s Tendrow Rouge Et Noire at Salixian, very feminine head with good eye, long clean neck, well placed shoulders & rounded ribs, short strong loin, harsh coat presented well, needs to settle on the move but when she did, for short intervals, it was very good, good ground clearance; 2 Glaville-Biggs’ Brimarville Dreamed A Dream, very close up to 1, most expressive eye in a balanced head, correct ribbing to loin proportions, harsh coat presented well, well muscled with good angulation, used to effect; 3 Moore & Downes’ My Cousin Rachel. JB (3) 1 Gibson’s Allfrey’s Greta Garbo, feminine head with the darkest of eyes, strong dentition, good forechest, laid back shoulders & well bodied with short loin, of correct size with good bone, well angulated, kept good top & underline & had ground clearance; 2 Vine’s Chilsevine Cazadokes, close up to 1 but decided not to cooperate on the move. Good head, front, ribbing & rear angulation, in good coat. PGB (4) 1 Lewis-Crookes’ Black Beauty by Kormesse Credo, won class on movement, nothing exaggerated but all put together well, balanced head, well placed shoulders, ribs well sprung, good forechest & angulated rear, strong mover over this unbalanced ring; 2 Derry’s Somercloud Sonata with Andloui, such an exuberant personality coped well with by her handler, dark almond eye in well balanced head, strong jaw, clean front, well placed shoulders, long ribbing with short loin, strong rear used well once settled; 3 Smith’s Laxiian Lavenche. LB (6) A class full of quality. 1 RCC, Bates & Maes-Jones’ Derochaise Elengance, one to watch, beautiful coat, feminine head, elegant neck into well placed shoulders, good fore & rear angulation, well sprung ribs, short loin, kept top & underline on the move, one of the best movers with ground clearance, of correct size; 2 Dible’s Leiblings End Of The Rainbow, close up to 1 with good head & expression, well placed shoulders into a strong muscled body, used rear angulation to good effect on the move, good tailset, harsh well presented coat, strong bone, well arched feet; 3 Coverley’s Aventine Shaken Not Stirred. OB (4) Another quality class. 1 CC, Phillips’ Ch Tendrow Peaches, quality girl throughout of correct proportions, good head & eye, strong neck, front & rear angulation, well sprung ribs, strong loin, well presented harsh coat, covered this ground well with adequate clearance, kept a top & strong underline; 2 Seath’s Borio’s Kaleema’s at Sunsong, feminine head with dark almond eye, so well balanced, well sprung ribs, strong loin & muscled, rear angulation used to the full, well boned, moved with drive; 3 Pugh & Frazer’s Ch Bystock Black Truffle. VB 1 Bates & Maes-Jones’ Watermans Martha at Derochaise, what a wonderful example of a veteran, moved & outmoved many of the challengers, brilliant coat & in such outstanding condition, a credit to her owners, being a pin Wire she had few whiskers, such a feminine head, elegant neck, well placed shoulders, strong body with short loin, well angulated rear used to the full.
