PD (2) 1 Paskins’ Tendrow Replays The Red Guy at Kindeace, 6 months red, outgoing & beautifully balanced. Pleased in head, needs to develop in front, nicely ribbed, promising coat, moved steadily holding a firm topline & using his rear well. Just needs to mature on & fill out his frame. BP; 2 Vine’s Cishelvine Red Admiral, 8 months red, not quite as enthusiastic as 1, nicely balanced head, a little longer coupled than 1 & not quite as collected on the move. Good coat texture. JD (1) 1 McPherson & Paterson’s Fransin Brasilian TP Pannetone, 16 months wild boar, balanced head, excellent neck & topline, well boned & ribbed with superb angulation front & back, tight wire jacket, goes around with reach & drive, just needs to firm up going away. Has so much style & presence & his outline never faltered, won an easy first CC & BOB & should gain many more. PGD (3) 1 Webb & Mifsud’s Bassjoy Take A Chance On Me, unexaggerated wild boar, nicely balanced with quality head, good bone & rib & he carries himself well with a firm level topline. Tail a little low set, quality coat. Moves true & showed steadily; 2 Robinson’s Tagundnacht Mr Bojangles, larger framed brindle of quality. Longer foreface than 1, well boned & bodied, quality coat, stylish mover but needs to settle in topline; 3 Paskins’ Kindeace Blue Savanah. LD (3) 1 Rowe’s Boloria’s Cadbury’s Surprise, choc/t showing so obligingly, good size & shape, balanced head, stands well on his legs, tight coat, nicely ribbed, really covers ground but needs to firm up a little going away. Well deserved the RCC; 2 Gibson’s Allfreys Rock of Gibraltar, wild boar, solid & masculine but a little heavy over the shoulder. Quality head, good bone & rib, sound enough moving but could use his tail & enjoy himself more; 3 O’Neill’s Somercloud Explorer. OD (2) 1 Vine’s Allfreys To Catch A Thief at Cishelvine, wild boar, fit & well covered, quality head, nicely constructed, good rib & bone, moved quite steadily, pleasing coat; 2 Lewis-Crooks’ Barmaud Rufus, red, substantial & well out together, longer foreface than 1, good bone & rib, pleasing jacket, longer coupled than 1, well angulated & smart mover.
PB (2) 1 Gibson’s Allfreys Greta Garbo, 10 months wild boar, excellent overall balance, quality head, well filled front, nicely ribbed, moderately angulated. Topline needs to settle & coat is coming through. Steady mover; 2 Vine’s Cishelvine Cazadokes, 10 months brindle who moved soundly, has a good head & quality coat but much longer cast than 1 so not so well balanced. JB (1) 1 Maxwell’s Romanchi Lokono, 14 months wild boar of good size & balance, typical head, ample bone, moves true up & down but needs to settle in topline. Coat coming through. PGB (5) 1 Lewis-Crooks’ Black Beauty by Kormeese Creado, very stylish brindle of excellent type & proportions. Feminine head, well filled front, ample bone for her size, quality coat, optimum angles, could be a little better ribbed back, sound mover. Now needs to body up as she is a little light through the loin & this emphasises the daylight she has underneath her; 2 Robinson’s Tagundnacht The Gypsy Girl, brindle of substance, very well put together with excellent substance & lovely head & expression. Moves very true just not as settled in topline as 1; 3 Baxter’s Cishelvine August Breeze. LB (3) 1 Rowe’s Boloria Naughty But Nice, choc, not in full coat but won on her lovely outline & correct balance. Feminine head, nicely filled front, well ribbed back, moderate angles & covers the ground moving; 2 McPherson & Paterson’s Ambiesque Advent for Brumberhill, brindle in much better coat but longer cast than 1, typical head, pronounced keel, good bone & rib, moved well enough not just the balance of 1; 3 Paskins’ Kindeace See Emily Play. OB (4) 1 Barney’s Molloney On Denise for Romaunt, outgoing brindle, honest & workmanlike with no exaggeration. Balanced head if a little light in eye, well balanced outline free from exaggeration. Good tight coat, stands well on her legs & moves with enthusiasm. Won her second CC & should make a worthy champion; 2 Paskins’ Sonic Fancy Free at Kindeace, brindle with slightly longer foreface than 1. Solid body, well boned, typical coat, could be a little stronger behind but makes a very pleasing overall picture & won the RCC comfortably; 3 Gibson’s Ch Allfreys Grace Kelly.
