It is quite some time since I last judged this variety and was pleased to
see the overall improvement in front assembly and movement. There are some
very promising males coming up from the lower classes which must be a good
sign. The girls are rather a mixed bag, and I felt a lot of them were far
too big and could have been mistaken for males. On the whole presentation
and condition of the exhibits was excellent and what lovely sportsmanship
from the ringside.
MPD (2) 1 Sorensen's Tendrow Time After Time. Extremely sound puppy, lovely
headpiece going into a reach of neck and well placed shoulder, ribbing good,
sound rear angulation, just needs to get his act together on the move, full
of himself, BP. 2 Carter's Romanchi Stargazer. Very immature compared to the
winner but has all the essentials, soundly made, will look more the part
when he fines down.
PD (2) 1 Bellamy's Veenen Onyx Resetin Gold At Garjay. Smart youngster,
lovely head neck and shoulder, good front and nice tight elbows which won
him his place, well ribbed neat hindquarters, moves true. 2 Morris' Rochinda
Rubens. Shows great potential, liked his overall balance, of a different
type to the winner and will take long to mature, excels in movement.
JD (1) 1 Vine's Deorochaise Justified For Chiselvine. Pleasing head, clean
neck and overall outline, would just prefer a touch more length of ribbing.
Moves true.
PGD (4) 1 Landridge's Tendrow Elberta. Good clean overall outline, pleasing
head, sufficient reach of neck, clean shoulder, very good length of sternum
and rib, balanced hindquarters won his place on rear drive and sound free
movement. 2 Hazell's Romanchi Nooksack At Vraibleu. Smaller type, overall
well balanced but I felt he was a touch overdone and too deep in the front,
not the rear movement of the winner. 3 Jethard Two To Tango At Salixian.
LD (7) A quality class that was a pleasure to judge. 1 Vine & Baxter's
Cishelvine Red Admiral. Lovely head and expression, good mouth, super reach
of neck flowing into clean shoulder of the correct proportions. Well filled
in oval front. Strong topline, good length of sternum and rib, hence correct
coupling, balanced, well angulated hindquarters which he used to the full.
Beautifully presented and schooled to perfection CC & BOB. 2 Phillips'
Wiretap Here I Am. Thought he might be my winner when entered the ring, what
a lovely outline and ring prescence, slightly taller type, lovely free
flowing movement, did not disappoint in any way when gone over, just lost
out on maturity. RCC. 3 Bliss' Knottsrose Juniper.
OD (5) 1 Phillips' Tendrow Replayed In Blue. Very smart overall outline,
superb front with ample forechest, good shoulder placement but a touch short
in upper arm, lovely topline, balanced quarters which he uses to the full,
nice size. 2McCalmont's Silvae Farrago. Sound, stylish type that is
consistent from this kennel, pleasing to go over, moves well but not the
forechest of the winner. 3 Metewand Bogen By The Sea.
MPB (1) 1 Phillips' Tendrow A Page In Time. A lovely red puppy, sweet head,
lovely expression and good reach of neck, super front, correct shoulder,
good length of rib and balanced rear which she uses to best advantage,
litter sister to the BPD.
PB Rather a mixed class that varied in shapes sizes and types. 1 Moore's
Cloudside Oops A Daisy. Rather a roly poly that needs to be gone over to be
appreciated. Won her place on her excellent front and shoulder construction,
moves true and at the moment fluctuates in topline on the move due to her
puppy fat. Hope she fines down with maturity and develops into a swan. 2
Vine's Cishelvine Carless Wispa. Similar type to the winner but in a
smaller frame. Not the lay of shoulder of the winner hence her place. 3
Tobenkipt Blossom.
JB (6, 1) 1 Hastings' Lesandnic Sleepytime. Lovely type with excellent
height to length ratio, consequently nice long reaching stride and free
flowing action, pleasing head, sufficient neck, keeps a good topline on the
move. 2 Binks' Lesandnic Sarafina. My notes simply say very much like the
winner, but lower to ground and not quite the movement, not surprising, I
now find out they are litter sisters. 3 Gibson's Allfreys Rosabaya.
PGB (2) 1 Vine's Gravetye Kiss Me Kate Cishelvine. Clear red, lovely head,
plenty of neck, excellent front and shoulder placement, good length of
ribbing, keeps a lovely outline on the move and never put a foot wrong. RCC.
2 Clayton-Smith's Bolarias April Fool. B/t, lovely head, soundly made, but
not the front of the winner, moves nicely.
LB (7, 1) 1 Phillips' Hototo Swellegant Gal At Tendrow. Elegant bitch of the
correct size. Lovely head and expression reachy neck, super front and good
shoulder. Strong topline and good ribbing, strong hindquarters and nice neat
hocks, excels in free flowing movement to complete the picture. CC. Shown in
super hard condition. 2 Davies' Tendrow Joiede Vivre By Atahira. Quality
bitch, lovely outline, beautifully put together, came down to personal
preference and preferred the femininity in size of the winner. 3 Allfreys
Sternchen Alrisha.
OB (6) 1 Stiles' Cishelvine Sea Spray. Glamorous red presented to
perfection, she has such a clean, well balanced outline both standing and on
the move, could not be deigned this place. Would prefer more forechest to
complete the picture. 2 McCalmont's Ch Silvae Solo. Beautiful brindle bitch,
little reticent today, not putting her all in, a very worthy champion. 3
Wagsford Gisselle.
