Thanks to exhibitors for a lovely entry & my steward Jenny Rowe.
MPD (2,1a) 1 Clayton-Smith’s Cishelvine Judge And Jury, a 6 months dark brindle, I liked his head & eye, good reach of neck & length of ribbing, moved soundly with confidence for just a baby, nicely presented. PD (2) 1 Maes-Jones & Bates’ Derochaise Versace, I just loved this 10½ months b/br, from his lovely head, reachy neck, correct shoulders, tight well knuckled feet, so sound & maintains his outline at all times, all topped off with a harsh coat, well handled & presented, must have a great future. RCC & BP; 2 C Judge And Jury. JD (2,1) 1 Vine’s Cishelvine Caught Out, 13 months brindle, he has a good head, reach of neck, level top & underline, well angulated hindquarters, low hocks, free moving, maintaining his outline, coat of good texture, but almost ready to come out. YD (2,1) 1 Sorenson’s Tendrow Time After Time, a harsh coated deep red, lovely head & eye, well ribbed, strong loin, well angulated hindquarters, true & sound on the move, but would prefer better length of neck. PGD (1) 1 Vine’s Derochaise Justified for Cishelvine, a nice type dark brindle with a masculine head, good reach of neck, well laid shoulder, true parallel movement, good harsh coat, but leg hair needs tidying. LD (8) Close decision between 1 & 2 here. 1 Vine & Baxter’s Cishelvine Red Admiral, a lovely red I’ve placed highly before, he is lovely to go over with lots to admire, with a well presented harsh coat, today for me he was carrying too much weight & didn’t have his usual verve, a shame; 2 Wharton & Pughe’s Derochaise Black Tarquin, handsome well presented brindle with a masculine head, reachy neck, level topline, good ribbing, kept his outline in profile but his front feet are flat & splayed, but overall a nice dog; 3 Bliss’ Knottrose Juniper at Topenkipt. OD (5,1) A quality class. 1 McPherson & Paterson’s Tres Pinheiros Obi Kenobi, an outstanding masculine brindle, I loved his head & expression, reach of neck into well laid shoulders, good length & spring of rib, super hind angulation, tight feet, so sound & free moving, maintaining a perfect outline at all times, his coat presentation & muscletone were superb, I was delighted to award him his 2nd CC & hope his crown is not far away, I loved him. CC & RBOB; 2 Phillips’ Ch Wiretrap Here I Am, a quality red with super harsh coat, lovely head & eye, prominent pro-sternum, well ribbed, lovely top & underline, sound on the move but preferred the easy ground covering stride of 1; 3 McCalmont’s Ch Silvae Farago. VD (2) 1 Smith’s Salixian Eclat, 8 year old b/br, in super coat & condition, cobby type with well muscled hindquarters, super feet; 2 Vine’s Cishelvine Sea Swell, 10 year old brindle, more houndy than 1, super head & eye, level topline, a little out of coat & couldn’t cope with floor surface which affected his hind movement.
MPB (5,1) 1 Seath’s Hella’s Ozlem at Sunsong, 8½ months light brindle with a stunning head & expression, well laid shoulder, level topline, super padded feet, well muscled for one so young, moved out soundly, harsh well presented coat, very promising; 2 Warren’s Wagsford Jennifer, 7½ months dark brindle with a lovely head & eye, good reach of neck & ribbing, well angulated hindquarters, held her shape on the move, not the coat of 1st; 3 Pughe & Fraser’s Bystock Amaretti. PB (5,2) 1 Maes-Jones & Bates’ Derochaise Elusia, litter sister to RDCC, ultra feminine & elegant dark brindle, super head & eye, good reach of neck, level top & underline, tight feet, sound free movement, in gleaming coat & condition. BPB; 2 Pughe & Fraser’s Bystock Pannacotta, half sister to 1, a very nice light brindle, I liked her head, length of neck & front, level topline, moved well, a lovely type & size, lost out on maturity to 1, but two lovely puppies; 3 Smith’s Salixian Tea For Two. JB (4,1) 1 Phillips’ Tendrow Dancing On A Dream at Clipperdown, suepr coated red, feminine head with dark eye, super front, she has plenty of bone substance, kept a good outline in profile, moved & showed well; 2 Wharton’s Greyhayne Black Velvet, brindle with a lovely head & neck, well laid shoulder, level topline, shown in hard muscular condition, I liked her, just needs to tighten a tad in hind movement; 3 Ryder’s Sonic Chianti to Jasker. YB (5) 1 Phillips’ Tendrow A Page In Time, a beautiful red of 19 months, with a super head & eye, reachy neck into well laid shoulder, excellent top & underline, tight feet, correct hindquarters, maintains her outline at all times, her movement is so effortless, harsh well presented coat. CC & BOB, I was pleased to hear this was her 3rd CC, a very worthy new champion, congratulations; 2 T Dancing On A Dream at C; 3 Seath’s Sunsong Wish Me Luck. PGB (7,2) 1 Hasting’s Lesandnic Sleepytime, I really liked this light brindle, I liked her head, reach of neck, well laid shoulder, super ribbing, good ground clearance, so sound on the move, a nice type to own; 2 Vine’s Cishelvine Careless Wispa, a nice type with super head & expression, good front, level topline, super hindquarters, sound & free movement; 3 Bubb’s Rocinda Dora for Wyenot. LB (9,3) 1 McCalmont’s Silvae Solace, elegant light brindle with a good head & eye, super reachy neck, well laid shoulder, good depth & length of ribbing, well angulated hindquarters, harsh well presented coat, sound free movement; 2 McPherson & Patterson’s Brumberhill Bellissima, another lovely bitch from a larger mould than 1, she has a super head, reachy neck, super front, well ribbed, strong loin, well muscled body, lovely outline, so free mover, presentation excellent; 3 Morris’ Wagsford Giselle. OB (6) 1 McCalmont’s Ch Silvae Solo, elegant houndy light brindle with a lovely head & eye, super reach of neck, well ribbed level topline, strong quarters & harsh coat, sound, free movement, super outline. RCC; 2 Warren’s Wagsford Lydia, another beautiful dark brindle, I loved her head & expression, lengthy neck, super ribbing, good top & underline, sound, but preferred hind movement of 1; 3 Stiles’ Cishelvine Sea Spray. VB (1) 1 McCalmont’s Ch Silvae Mystic, a stunning light brindle of 11 years with the best of coats, lovely head & reach of neck, balanced outline & very sound & free moving, she is a credit to her owners & a pleasure to judge.
