Class 220 VB NO ENTRIES
First I want to thank the Hound Association for inviting my husband and me. I truly enjoyed my day and the friendly hospitality. Generally, I think the Dachshunds Wirehaired were of an excellent quality and correct breed type. Most had really typical heads and expressions, all had correct bites with strong underjaws, most necks were of good length and the chests were well developed with a good forechest.  Good lengths of bodies.  A few had too much turned out front legs and at some I would have preferred a stronger topline. Tail set were good in most cases and well carried tails. Most of the coats were correct wire and harsh, some were too soft and a few were "out of coat". All temperaments were friendly and good with a lot of wagging tails. The grass were a bit long on the grounds so it was not so easy for the puppies to move properly but they did their best. My BOB female was a beautiful feminine Dachshund of the highest quality, I was very pleased to see her win Best in Show 4 in the afternoon finales. 
PD (4) 1 Moore & Downes' Megline Aramis. Nice puppy, correct head and expression, nice neck, straight topline, good length of body, well angulated front and back, moved well. 2 Vine's Cishelvine Caught Out. Also a nice puppy with a correct head, neck, body and angulation.  3 Bates & Maes-Jones' Derochaise Versace. 
JD (4) 1 Shaw's Tendrow Moondance. Very nice young male, well proportioned head, nice neck, front, topline, body length and angulation, correct coat and moved well.  2 Carter's Romanchi Stargazer. Nice young male with a good head and expression, correct front, body length and angulation, would like to see him carry his tail a bit higher on the move, correct coat.  3 Vig's Q-rrens-dax Enzo-topazo. 
Sp Beginners D (1) 1 Maxwell's Bardrestan Quantum Leap. Nice male with a correct harsh coat, lovely head and expression, good length of neck, acceptable front and back, topline could be straighter, could move with better drive. 
PGD (2, 1) 1 Herrod's Kindeace Wish You Were Here. Very nice male, lovely head and expression, good length of neck, correct front and back, well developed chest, correct topline, well set tail, correct movement and a harsh coat. 
LD (7) 1 Wharton & Pughe's Derochaise Black Tarquin. Lovely male, correct head and expression, nice neck, correct front and forechest, good length of body, straight topline, well set tail, well angulated behind, free movement with long steps, harsh coat, RCC. 2 Bliss' Knottsrose Juniper At Tobenkipt. Also a very nice male with good harsh coat and correct movement, nice head and expression, long neck, straight topline, well angulated front and back, well set tail. 3 Robinson's Tagundnacht Mr Bojangles.
OD (9) 1 McCalmont's Ch Silvae Farrago. A very beautiful and correct dog, lovely masculine head and expression, good length of neck, correct front and back, good chest and forechest, free movement with correct long steps, correct harsh coat, Dog CC. 2 Phillips' Ch Wiretap Her I Am. Lovely red male, correct head and expression, long neck, correct well angulated front and back, nice topline, correct harsh coat, nice free movement. 3 Seath's Ch Zlowfox Av Larhjelm At Sunsong. 
VD (2) 1 Carter's Romanchi Alkansea. Lovely dog, correct head and expression, long neck, nice topline, sound front, good forechest, well angulated behind, moved well for his age, BV. 2 Hastings' Bardings Best Man. Correct head and expression, long enough neck, acceptable topline, good length of body, movement could be more free, correct coat. 
PB (7, 1) 1 Bates & Maes-Jones' Derochaise Elusia. Very nice puppy girl, feminine head and expression, long neck, well angulated front and back, good topline, well set tail, moved well, correct coat, BP. 2 Wharton's Greyhayne Black Velvet. Also a nice puppy, correct head and expression, long neck, correct front and back, topline could be a bit straighter, well set tail, correct coat, moved well. 3 Binks' Cishelvine Just This Once. 
JB (8) 1 Mease's Barembak Red Chilli Pepper. Lovely young female, very feminine and well developed, correct head and expression, long neck, well developed chest and forechest, correct angulation front and back, good length of body, well set tail and correct topline, well set tail, correct harsh coat, RCC.  2 Sexton's Molloney Ona Roll. Very nice young female, lovely head and expression, good length of neck, well angulated front and back, nice topline, well set tail, moved well, correct harsh coat. 3 Phillips' Tendrow Dancing On A Dream At Clipperdown. 
Sp Beginners B (2) 1 Bubb's Rocinda Dora For Wyeknot. Very nice female, correct feminine head and expression, long neck, correct front and back, good forecest, straight topline, well set tail, harsh coat, moved freely with long steps. 2 Maxwell's Bardrestan Queen Of The South. Correct feminine head and expression, long neck, correct front, acceptable topline, could have moved better today, correct harsh coat. 
PGB (7, 1) 1 Phillips' Tendrow A Page In Time. Very nice red female, lovely head and expression, long neck, correct chest and forechest, excellent topline, well set tail, correct free movement, good harsh coat. 2 Bubb's Rocinda Dora For Wyeknot. Very nice female, correct feminine head and expression, long neck, correct front and back, good forecest, straight topline, well set tail, harsh coat, moved freely with long steps. 3 Gibson's Allfreys Rosabaya. 
LB (6) 1 Wharton's Greyhayne Lotty Merry. Nice feminine female, correct head and expression, long neck, well angulated front and back, correct topline, good length of body, well set tail, correct movement. 2 Carruthers' Brumberhill Bellina. Strong, feminine female, very nice head and expression, good length of neck, strong topline, well set tail, good length of body, moved well. 3 Vine's Gravetye Kiss Me Kate Cishelvine. 
OB (8, 2) 1 McCalmon's Ch Silvae Solo. Super female!  Excellent feminine head and expression, long neck, good chest and forechest, well angulated front and back, excellent straight topline and well set tail, moved freely with long steps and confidence, correct harsh coat, truly a top female! CC and BOB, happy to see that she was BIS 4 in the afternoon finales. 2 Bates & Maes-Jones' Ch Derochaise Elegancia. Lovely feminine female, correct head and expression, long neck, correct chest and forechest, good length of body, well set tail, correct movement, harsh coat.  3 Ch Hototo Swellegant Gal At Tendrow.
