Thank you to everyone who entered the show and to the Committee for the appointment. It has been a few years since I judged Wires but they have improved over time. Some faults with mouths, short ribbing and knots in tails but thankfully very few.

MPD (5,0)

1^st Moore’s CLoudside Picasso. Liked his size for his age. Good head and eye, good reach of neck flowing into a firm topline. Good prosternum and underline. Balanced fore and rear quarters. Moved well. BPD.

2^nd Clayton-Smith’s Cishelvine Judge And Jury. More mature male than the others in this class and very balanced. Good head and reach of neck, neat size and shape. Would prefer better lay of shoulder but could come in time.

3^rd Vine’s Cishelvine Open Verdict.

1^st Maes-Jones & Bates’ Derochaise Versace. Very neat dog of 11 months. Good head and neck, good amount of pro-sternum. Lovely length of stride on the move. Slightly taller in leg than I prefer and lacked the muscle tone of the MPD.

2^nd Clayton-Smith’s Cishelvine Judge And Jury

1^st Shaw’s Tendrow Moondance. Good head and reach of neck flowing into a good firm topline. Moved effortlessly with drive. Could do with a little muscle to tighten his rear action but a very promising youngster and loved his happy personality. RCC

2^nd Arthurs & Hototo’s Bark At The Moon. Lovely head and reach of neck. Lacking a little in depth of ribbing and pro-sternum. Kept a nice outline on the stack. Would prefer more length in second thigh.
 

PGD (2,0)

1^st Vig’ Q-rrens-dax Enzo-topazo. Neat dog with good head and reach of neck. Good firm topline on the stack and the move. Lovely rear angulation which he used on the move to his advantage. Would prefer more length in upper arm to balance him.

2^nd Vine’s Derochaise Justified for Cishelvine. Elegant dog who looked lovely on the move. A little flat on his pasterns but a lot to like about him.
 

LD (6,0)

Very mixed class with no two dogs of the same type. Close decision between 1 and 2.

1^st Wharton & Pughe’s Derochaise Black Tarquin. Elegant neat dog who kept a lovely outline at all times and excelled in drive on the move in this class. Good head, reach of neck and topline. Good ribbing and underline. Lovely powerful quarters that moved with drive. Would prefer more length in upper arm but a lot to like about this boy.

2^nd Marston-Pollock’s Cloudside Oliver. Well-built masculine dog in the best of condition. Well-made and balanced fore and rear quarters. Good firm topline and length of ribbing. Not the drive of 1 but could easily swap places.

3^rd Sorensen’s Tendrow Time After Time JW.

1^st McPherson & Paterson’s Treis Pinheiros Obi Kenobi SwJun Ch (Imp). Beautifully balanced dog. Elegant male with lovely head and reach of neck, lovely lay of shoulder and return of upper arm with balanced quarters. Excelled in movement with lovely reach and drive.

2^nd McCalmont’s Ch Silvae Farrago. Lovely dog who excelled in drive on the move. Good head and reach of neck, lovely outline at all times, balanced fore and rear quarters. Would prefer a touch more width in front on the move but a very worthy champion.

3^rd Warren’s Wagsford Lincoln.

1^st Vine’s Cishelvine Just An Enigma. Very happy baby. Lovely head and reach of neck, good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm with balanced rear quarters. Looked lovely on the move but just needs time to mature and muscle.

2^nd Scott’s Cloudside Pandoras Box At Arushkhan. Well-muscled baby, good reach of neck and lay of shoulder. Would prefer a little more length in upper arm and second thigh. In very good condition.

3^rd Betts’ Ruby.

Exceptional class of puppies. Some far less mature than others but promising future for the breed.

1^st Warren’s Wagsford Jennifer. A baby that caught my eye as soon as I saw her move. Beautiful head and reach of neck, good firm topline, lovely lay of shoulder and return of upper arm, beautiful well-muscled quarters which she used to power herself around the ring. BCC, BOB & BP. Disappointed that she did not represent her breed in the group ring but I am sure there was good reason for this.

2^nd Maes-Jones & Bates’ Derochaise Elusia. Lovely neat well-made bitch. Balanced fore and rear quarters, elegant and moved well, just not the drive of 1.

3^rd Fitzgerald’s Waggington Sophia At Harlilsun.

1^st Mease’s Barembak Red Chilli Peper. Elegant bitch with lovely construction. Lovely head and reach of neck, good lay of shoulder and return of upper arm. Good pro-sternum and ribbing. Lovely rear angulation. Moved soundly with good reach and drive. Needs a little more time to mature but a lot to like about her.

2^nd Wharton’s Greyhayne Black Velvet. Good head, reach of neck and shoulder construction. Lovely outline at all times. Well matured but would prefer a little more length in second thigh.

3^rd Binks’ Cishelvine Just This Once.

1^st Bubb’s Rocinda Dora For Wyeknot. Neat bitch with good ribbing and body. Balanced fore and rear quarters though would prefer a touch more length to her upper arm and second thigh.

LB (9,0)

1^st Morris’ Wagsford Giselle. Lovely neat bitch with a touch of elegance. Good head and reach of neck, balanced fore and rear quarters with good angulation. Moved beautifully.

2^nd McPherson & Paterson’s Brumberhill Bellissima. Another lovely bitch on the move. Elegant, well angulated and well bodied bitch. Kept a good outline at all times. Very close between 1 & 2.

3^rd Carruthers’ Brumberhill Bellina

1^st MCcalmont’s Ch Silvae Solo. Exquisite bitch and very worthy champion. Beautiful head neck and shoulder, firm topline, excelling in rear drive. Beautiful free stander. Very hard decision between her and the CC winner on the day. RCC.

2^nd Warren’s Wagsford Lydia. Good head, lovely firm topline and rear quarters. Would prefer a better lay of shoulder but moved beautifully.

3^rd Paterson & Paterson Ambiesque Agna.
